There is no need to go into Altcoin investment as there are chances of scams most of the time. If you want to make a smart investment, it is definitely better to invest in Bitcoin, in which case Altcoin can never be a smart investment. We think that now is a good time to invest as the price of various coins including Bitcoin market has decreased. If we invest from this bear market then surely it is a bull market and we will expect huge amount of profit. And if you invest from Bitcoin current time then you have to invest from $26k dollars. Although there won't be much profit now, if you wait until the bull market, you will more than double your profit. And if you invest the same amount of money in altcoin then surely there is a possibility of losing money in future. That is why you must invest wisely in the field of investment.

Many people always say that all altcoins are scams but do you see that ETH or BNB are more profitable than bitcoin during the 2021 bull season? and I bet you that ETH's increase in the upcoming bull season will also be more significant than bitcoin's. bitcoin is safer, that is undeniably, but not necessarily bad if we invest in altcoins. just because you don't know enough to profit from altcoins doesn't mean everyone else is like you. smart investments are those that bring the highest returns, not just one thing.

But having both Bitcoin and altcoins is good as you diversify your investment, but be cautious, and it is better to only invest in top altcoins like BNB, ETH, and XRP.

I don't like altcoins anymore. I used to be in altcoin in the past but when I realized what kind of shit they are, I switched to Bitcoin. And I am serious about it. I know I won't make higher profits if I only stick to Bitcoin. But that doesn't matter. What profits I will make from Bitcoin is more than enough for me. Choosing altcoins is a gamble. Either it will be a successful one or it will fail. And the profit-making thing is optional. It may follow the sentiment and pump in price or I won't be able to do it even once. Also, the fact that altcoins have fewer use cases, and for that, after a huge pump in price, if it falls, it may never go up again. Even after hodling for years. Once it's gone, it's gone. So it is hard to compete with others and choose the right time to sell.
Why take that risk when I can just rely on BTC? I can sell in portions in different price ranges. That will maximize the profit and also I won't regret selling early or late.

Not really I'm going off to altcoins but for some reason, it's going to be on limitation. I have some altcoins that invested in the past years and I bought them because it looked very promising but suddenly the market has changed and the developers have gone. It is a losing experience that taught me something about how to be careful in choosing altcoins as it not only look very promising but most importantly is that it have a use case. Now, only ETH and BNB had left on me while disregarding those coins that I had before because it was hopeless already.

The experience was very valuable and I have experienced it too so I decided not to save many Altcoins anymore to avoid something like this happening again, I don't even save any Altcoins for now. But for BNB and ETH I think it's a good choice and I consider it the same as Bitcoin so I decided to just hold Bitcoin. The movements of the two Altcoins always follow the price of Bitcoin, so I think it's the same, just the percentage of profit is different if the price increases. My investment view is to focus 70% of capital on bitcoin, the remaining 30% is evenly distributed to altcoins, be it topcoins or some low-cap coins. Talk about altcoins, we are talking about gambling rather than investing, as these projects thrive on hype only to eventually dissipate. Altcoins don't have any technology or utility, it's all just pump and dump. However, if an individual possesses a proclivity for gambling and revels risks to potentially substantial rewards, then exploring altcoins might align with their personal inclinations and choices. Bitcoin will remain a safer investment than altcoins. But I also don't hate someone investing in altcoins because they're investing with their own money. We have no right to intervene or teach them anything because we cannot help them.

while Bitcoin is indeed a proven entity, I'd argue that there's some merit in diversifying – not necessarily in altcoins, but in other asset classes. Consider this: while BTC is solid, there are potential risks like regulatory changes, technological shifts, and so on. Diversification, even within the realm of cryptocurrencies, might be worth considering. For instance, Ethereum's smart contract functionality has set it apart from many other altcoins. Im not saying throw caution to the wind, but maybe, just maybe, there's a sweet spot between the safety of Bitcoin and the potential of select altcoins. Its all about finding your comfort zone.

Some altcoins are trusted enough, they have good fundamental. I think it is quite secure if you invest in top altcoins such as ETH, ADA, SOL, or MATIC. But if you invest in new altcoins or meme coins, I agree it is more likely as gambling than investing. So, don't generalize the potential of all altcoins, not all of them just rely on the hype only. There are some altcoins which have good fundamental, they have real technology and convincing utility. Bitcoin will remain a safer investment than altcoins. But I also don't hate someone investing in altcoins because they're investing with their own money. We have no right to intervene or teach them anything because we cannot help them.
Of course, Bitcoin is the main coin in crypto space. That's easy for any people to make Bitcoin as their main asset. However, investing in altcoins isn't the wrong choice as long as we can choose the right altcoins. But we must be more careful investing in altcoins because the risks are higher. However, altcoins also offer the chance of higher profits due to its bigger volatility.

While I'm not against investing in altcoins, I wouldn't consider it diversification to minimize risk since the entire market depends on bitcoin's movements. when our bitcoin investment loses money, no altcoin investment will make a profit. investing in altcoins is just about finding ways to optimize profits and not minimize our risks, so I don't call it diversification. But I agree with you, if you don't want to risk too much, invest in ETH or XRP, I believe they will bring better profits than BTC in the upcoming bull season.

There are some altcoins which have good fundamental, they have real technology and convincing utility. Yes, what I'm talking about is about the altcoin market in general. And if we talk about top altcoins like ETH, I cannot deny that it is really a very good altcoin and even has the same potential as bitcoin. While bitcoin may be credited with initiating this market, it is ETH's substantial contributions that have propelled market's current state. Its potential and role cannot be denied. Bitcoin will remain a safer investment than altcoins. But I also don't hate someone investing in altcoins because they're investing with their own money. My investment view is to focus 70% of capital on bitcoin, the remaining 30% is evenly distributed to altcoins, be it topcoins or some low-cap coins. Never let altcoins take up the majority of your investment portfolio, it is more like gambling than investing because altcoins are quite risky.
Saying that all altcoins are scams and not worth investing in is wrong because many altcoins also give very good returns, but there is nothing wrong with someone investing only in bitcoin and saying no to altcoins. It all depends on the taste of each person, no one is wrong.
Allocating a little for the possibility of big profits I don't think is a bad thing as long as it doesn't interfere with investment plans in Bitcoin or other top coins. If someone says that a low cap coin is a fraud I will not refute it because of the many coins there are only a few that can be promising, the rest will pass you by. I'm just stating my investment philosophy and how I allocate my investments. And how people invest depends on each person's investment preferences, even if someone only invests in altcoins and ignores bitcoin, it is not a problem. As long as they know what they are doing and they are willing to accept whatever results they get, they can invest in anything they like. Although low-cap coins are risky, that doesn't mean they are definitely a scam project. If you want to find coins with x10, x100 potential, low cap is actually a better choice than meme. But again, it's your choice, everyone's, no one is wrong.

Its all about finding your comfort zone.
You have said it right. I am most comfortable with Bitcoin. People are still making profits from investing in other Altcoins. But to me, those are not just for me. I mean, I don't like them. It is hard to get the best out of something that you don't like. I am comfortable with Bitcoin and whatever I get from that investment, I am happy with it. That's all that matters right? So, it is totally my personal choice to stick to Bitcoin. Others can choose whatever they can benefit from. I have no issue with that. All I said is that I have experienced some bad things in the past with altcoins. So people should be aware of that too and choose after analyzing and researching. Because nowadays, good projects hardly come by.

Its all about finding your comfort zone.

All I said is that I have experienced some bad things in the past with altcoins. So people should be aware of that too and choose after analyzing and researching. Because nowadays, good projects hardly come by. I have had some bad experiences with altcoin as well but as long as i can remember my biggest gain was from altcoin too. It is not that hard to earn money from altcoin actually. Bitcoin will give multiple X profits in every cycle but for altcoin, most don't cross their ATH in the next bull cycle. Still, people made a lot of money from them. Have you ever thought about how? You just need to understand what trend is running and what is upcoming. When there is a trend running in the altcoin market most of the tokens from that category do well and give multiple X ROI. So if you can spear a small amount of funds to play with altcoin and you know how to play you should do that. You do not need to sell your bitcoin for that.

That's just the thing mate. I don't understand how they work. It's all about trends and market sentiments. Also, investors buy and sell that altcoin to run the market. I don't want to get wind up in those things. The trend happens with Bitcoin too. But it does not stay for long and fade away quickly. So there's no long-term calculated investment in those altcoins. There's a swing in price for trend and you just need to find the best time. I don't like to waste my time finding that "perfect" time. It's all about how much time I can give to this and get the best out of my invested time. And for me, Bitcoin is the best choice. You can have your altcoins and make a profit from them. But I will just stick to the Bitcoin. That's all there to it.

If your trading volume is high, you can choose the bitcoin. If the volume is low,the trader can use the altcoin which is potential in the market now.The bitcoin will be the better option to inverse your money with the short term profit. Many traders will use the bitcoin for the day trading compared to the other altcoin. The bear market will be the good time to keep your investment at the potential coin. When the bitcoin market had get the bull, same will be the bull run time for the other potential coin.To get profit from the investment, patience will be the key.

My opinion is a little bit different from others in terms of investment. Personally, I testify that it depends on your investment amount. If you have a small amount for investment, you should definitely go for altcoins. Altcoins here refer to solid altcoins like Ethereum, XLM, Matic, etc. Which is cheaper than Bitcoin and also gives you a good return in profit. If you have a large amount to invest, you have the best way, which is Bitcoin. It is right that the market is full of shite, i.e., pump dump coins, but I couldn't believe that a person who has thinking ability from above would go straight into pump dump coins. Never at all. Another argument is that investing with a DCA strategy reduces your loss ratio on investment capital. Despite that, many didn't follow the DCA (Dollar Cost Average) method.

Most people investing in altcoin are also taking risk and feels like its an advantage taken, not knowing that some of this projects are time bomb that might explode anytime soon and most times what they do his give the project a good hype and people start investing from no were without background checks. Altcoin have too many scam projects and its not something you can rely on because even the project can crash at anytime and people's money are lost. Invest in projects that are reliable and even if the profit is not huge but the security is covered and since you can buy bitcoin in fraction, accumulating gradually will help and you won't have to bother about the project crashing or ending scam, well said if the investor can wait for bull run then it will pay.

However, the profitability of investment in buying and selling assets is based on the percentage change in prices, not on the expensiveness or cheapness of a particular coin. Although BTC may seem expensive, price fluctuations of 5% or 10% can easily occur, just as they do with Ethereum. So, whether it's a large or small amount, I believe money will flow towards assets with stronger fundamentals, as both Bitcoin and Altcoins have their own seasons for experiencing Bullruns. As for the habit of Dollar Cost Averaging (DCA), it's a matter of personal preference, and indeed, we cannot ascertain how many people adopt this strategy. Additionally, every investor has their unique trading style, which significantly influences their approach to entering or exiting the market.
