Colorado residents paying in cryptocurrency is a big change happening with the administration. Not every people get interested in it. As most of the users suggested the choice of adding bitcoin is good but the way through which this has been done is not the right way. Maybe for administrative purpose this way of transaction seems to be easier than paying directly from bitcoin wallet. Though this isn't perfect, similar kind of acceptance in different office will atleast make people know about the existence of bitcoin.

At first, i thought it was good news for the crypto industry but when I read the article my joy faded out. Users can pay by cryptocurrencies through PayPal. What are the points of paying cryptocurrency then? I will just use Fiat to pay my bill! There is no mention of whether they will accept Bitcoin or not but they have said they will accept PayPal cryptocurrencies which could mean their own stablecoin. They have also said that a user can select any specific Crypo currencies to pay bills so there will be multiple crypto assets that will be accepted and Bitcoin can be among them.

I've read something similar to this topic, I think it was 2 or 3 days ago, and I just can't remember what the link was. The concept of accepting cryptocurrency as one of the payment options is good. That's why I'm not in favor of the payment method, but there's nothing I can do about it; that's the DMV system.

The strategy they made is only for all PayPal users who want to use the crypto as payment for those renewing their drivers licenses. But if you are not a PayPal user or do not have a PayPal account, you will not be able to avail yourself of their implementation of crypto payment.

And I think PayPal made a partnership here in Colorado so that they could also promote their own stable coin that they launched, which is pyusd, if I'm not mistaken from what I know here.

Looking at the details of this development, I am still considering it a good news though some can see the the wrinkles. Anyway, let's look at this like a half-filled glass rather than the other way around. I am sure though that whoever is advising the Colorado bureaucrats must not be doing his/her job. They should be accepting cryptocurrencies in many forms directly and have someone who is an expert "work" for them so they can deeply understand this whole thing. Actually, this is a good opportunity for those in power to wake up and take advantage of the benefits of accepting fees in crypto hopefully not just for drivers' renewals but also tax and other usual fees. At any rate, let's all encourage and welcome places making some rub with cryptocurrency in whatever way and form.
