I feel like Crvena Zvezda travelled to Russia with 1 intention, secure the bag of cash and let the Russian teams win. Sure they won yesterday but the opponent was weak as well.
But they way play played against CSKA and right now Zenit St. Petersburg is just laughable. These teams have like leftover players that don't get a spot in decent European teams. I mean you have to be desperate to play in Russia right now.
Crvena Zvezda is an Euroleague team that competes in the 2nd best league in the world while these Russian teams only play domestically, it's hilarious to look that bad against them. Guess they had clear rules to follow to get that money.
Didn't watched game, so, can't tell what happened there. But despite playing only domestically, Russian clubs still keep quite decent squads with many foreign players. Or Zenit coach Xavi Pascuali - he would find job in Euroleague without any problems, but nobody wouldn't pay that much money as Zenit pays
Finally next week basketball season will begin - we have Spanish and Italian supercups and most of main leagues starting.
