What advice is worth passing out to people who have lost their Bitcoin more than once and are on the hedge of giving up?
It's extremely childish and insensitive to ml a mistakeqnf instead of gindingvout what your mistake was, you just source for some place to apportion blame. You learn nothing from that by not realising what your mistake or mistakes was and looking out for means to put it go a stop and ensure you don't make the same mistake anymore.
That they left Bitcoin investments for good, that isn't an assurance that they would be ultimately safe or successful in there next investment.

What I would advise such person is,
To learn how to look for faults in there steps rather than apportion blame.
They need go understand that in the cryptospace, you are your own first line of security and depending on how you take your security serious, you could be susceptible to hacks or safe.

Where do you keep your coins?
What exchanges do you use in transacting?
How have you handled KYC?

Loosing at a time shouldn't be the end, you could help yourself jn trying to know more and build yet another portfolio.

It would be very painful when someone lost bitcoins to hackers and if that is repeatedly then the person was too careless and does not value bitcoin. someone that understand important of bitcoin would always to make sure that his wallet (s) is/are secure from external attacks. I am suspecting that the bitconers were using close source (custodial) wallets and not open source (non custodial) wallets. If they were using cold wallets like Electrum, Sparrow and Bluewallet then the bitcoins would have been saved. well I have not been hacked so I don't know the feeling. those who know the important of bitcoin will still buy if they were hacked or lost it.

I also think that if the person keeps on getting hacked, there is a problem with how the person addresses the issue of his security.  It is not about being careless but I think it is about the level of comprehension of that person on how to adapt to the situation.  It is also possible that the person is somehow lazy in researching stuff about malware prevention.

I was also hacked before and I learned my lesson very well since it is really a pain when all our hard work is stolen due to our being naive and careless.  Although I lost everything I put in that account, I never stop instead I try to learn how to secure my account and the thing never happened again.

In fact, I truly believe that some bitcoin users still keep their investment assets on centralized exchanges. Some advice may not be enough to make them realize the importance of having full custody of their assets - but all of them are responsible for their own assets. I won't worry about other people - but I care more about myself who sometimes still makes some mistakes. I hope I can also improve it over time.

Can you keep buying bitcoin if you have already get hacked like twice or more in the past?

Experiencing hacking repeatedly, of course, it is very painful and it can lose our trust in Bitcoinp, I don't remember how many times I have experienced hacking, but as a newbie, of course, we will often make mistakes due to lack of knowledge and also sometimes feeling lazy to apply the knowledge we have gained, such as use a safe wallet and don't use an exchange as a wallet, store Seed Phrases and private keys in a safe place and everything about basic security regarding the wallet.

What advice is worth passing out to people who have lost their Bitcoin more than once and are on the hedge of giving up?

Just say what you have experienced because experience is very valuable and if the person does not feel it is important to do what we say then that is his problem and not our responsibility and the most important thing is never to advise something that could give wrong information because that would be dangerous

I have read some painful stories online about Bitcoin fans that lost their Bitcoin to hacks more than once and how they gave up because of the hacks, this made me curious about people on the forum, I will like to ask you guys how many times you have lost Bitcoin to hacks or your own mistakes, and why are you still not giving up.

Can you keep buying bitcoin if you have already get hacked like twice or more in the past?

Like a story about an American who lost his love for Bitcoin because of the hacks, I believe it's because of his own carelessness though, because you can't leave your wallet on a bench outside your home and not expect someone to steal it, and you come out and say your wallet was stolen by a thief, like what do expect?

What advice is worth passing out to people who have lost their Bitcoin more than once and are on the hedge of giving up?
I have lost a small amount of bitcoin due to a dumb mistake I made when I was still relatively new to this market, so I accepted the responsibility for it and since then I have done everything in my power to avoid this happening again, however to those that have been hacked my advice is really simple, move your coins to a safer OS, and if you do not want to do it then buy a hardware wallet, a hardware wallet has a very low cost compared to the protection that it offers, and yet we have people with millions of dollars worth of bitcoin storing it in a computer with a pirated and cracked version of Windows.

Some reasons why people lose their Bitcoin is because they keep them in exchanges, exchange are still one of the famous ways some individuals decide to store their bitcoin. To them they feel the bitcoin are saved on the exchange but they don't know that that's the worst places to keep Bitcoin because exchanges are one of the most targeted places by hackers to attack because they know many individual still have their bitcoin on the exchange.

To keep our Bitcoin safe from hacks, investors that have bought bitcoin need to store them in an opened source non custodial wallets that allow them to get access to their private key and store them offline. Any wallets that doesn't give you your private key shouldn't be used.

Fortunately, I don't have experience getting hacked. But I do have experience losing some of my money with failed investment here in crypto, multiple times. Although comparing the two, losing your money because of hacking feels more regretful because you'll be blaming yourself for being careless with your Bitcoin. Unlike with losing in investment where you're already aware of the risks. But at the end of it, we both get to learn based on these experiences.

Losing your Bitcoin multiple times because of hacking is such an awful situation. And I'd understand why a person might give up because of it. But if he's really into this space, maybe just taking a break will help the person to move on with his losses. And when he's ready again, he can always come back.

The only advice that I can give to those people is to become more careful and attentive. You are investing your hard earned money in something big, so it’s completely your responsibility that you make sure all the possible ways to get saved from hacking. It’s your fault that you used online wallets and hence got hacked. Now if you are getting demotivated by it and stopping to invest in the coin for this reason, then again it’s your loss. Smart people know the worth of Bitcoins and are buying it and storing it securely.

Many mistakes of investors who store their coins on the exchange, if not taken by the the exchange owners, they will disappear with their bursts if they experience bankruptcy, and we see it on several exchanges such as MT.gox, and FTX yesterday.lol.

And let me add not to have many extension in the wallet used to store bitcoin, because it can also be a gap in my opinion, because I have experienced this, and it needs to be added to also offline storage must be completely safe, because we are Already got many cases of offline storage that was reserved by several people for the theft scandal, make sure the wallet used to store bitcoin that is really safe, including those who sell the wallet.

Basically I don't keep my Bitcoins in platforms such as centralized exchanges or any other place where there is a possibility of my account getting compromised by hackers, I don't even keep my Bitcoins in online or centralized wallets where I don't have my keys and the wallet is closed source. If someone is careful with all these things and isn't careless with their assets or Bitcoins, they won't face those situations.

Those who stop loving Bitcoin or get away from buying or storing Bitcoins just because they got hacked more than once, need to understand that when they buy Bitcoin, they need to keep that in a non-custodial wallet where only they can access it, and they should keep their private keys somewhere very safe.

Knowing the difference between hacking and terrible business decisions is smart. Each situation affects you differently. Crypto-security has improved, thus users should update and upgrade their digital wallets and security protocols. This reduces hacking risk. To make a wise business decision, you must understand crypto and its volatility. Like other bitcoin fans, I believe in society's power. As you said, sharing experiences raises awareness and helps individuals make informed choices. Staying educated, sharing what you know, and being careful are crucial after any loss.

We shouldn't give up because of mistakes that happened in the past, if we lost Bitcoin to hack, it wasn't the fault of Bitcoin but our fault and it's not because we did it knowingly but due to we not having the right updates. When I lost Bitcoin to hack was when I had Bitcoin stor e in an exchange, during that period I didn't know it was a bad step to keep Bitcoin on exchanges, I thought it would be safer been there but I lost my Bitcoin although it wasn't a very large amount.

That experience didn't make me stop investing in Bitcoin but it made me to be more careful of where I keep my Bitcoin. If we give up because of mistakes we made in the past then we'll regret it in the future when other individuals make profits from Bitcoin but we don't.
I also believe that we should be trying to get back on the horse and get that money back as well. Just because you lost money doesn't mean that you shouldn't have any money in the future neither, you could try to make it work somehow and that way you would be able to make some money, it would be profitable for you to keep trying.

This means that maybe you lost some money due to either bad trades or hacks or whatever reason was, but then you are going to end up with a good return that will be even bigger than what you lost in the end. This means that we should not give up, giving up is not solution to anything in life, it never results with anything good, we should try to end up with a good result long term.

Some individuals are unaware that malware has infiltrated their computer, and certain types of malware can be exceptionally challenging for ordinary users to eradicate. Hackers can infiltrate anyone's computer, often without the owner's knowledge.

In the phase of storing Bitcoin in a wallet fully under our control, it is prudent to first ensure the health of our device. If you lack confidence in your computer's security, temporarily resorting to an exchange wallet is acceptable, but relying on it permanently is ill-advised. Make sure you promptly acquire a secure wallet to guard against potential breaches. Protect Your Computer From Viruses, Hackers, and Spies

Those genuinely intrigued by Bitcoin will return in due course, while those with a fleeting interest may depart after their initial losses. It takes time for people to regain their enthusiasm for Bitcoin, and that's perfectly normal.

Using a non-custodial wallet or hardware wallet only helps you increase the security of your bitcoins and does not absolutely guarantee your bitcoins.  the safety of your bitcoins depends entirely on you.  if you use a computer but use cracked software, frequently access strange links or do not store seed phrase in the safest place.  So you shouldn't be surprised if one day your bitcoins are hacked.  many people do not have basic knowledge about security, which will also cause losses that they do not even know the cause of.

There must be something they keep doing over again that's causing the loss of their Bitcoin or crypto asset, if you are using your wallet for online activities like airdrops and free token offers you are not far from losing your asset, you will be the one to give hackers the access to your fund, without you knowing.

It's possible to make mistakes and lost your asset the first round, but if it happens the second time it means you will never learn, there are simple things you must know if you want to stay ahead of hackers....

Do not keep your assets on any crypto exchange.

Stay away from any free tokens online, most of them are scam tokens.

Stop running after NFTs, some will take you to a scam page for claims.

Do not use custodial crypto wallets.

If you browse a lot on your computer, do not use such a PC to store your assets, you can run a Linux OS in a separate drive space and keep every crypto wallet on that drive only.

Try writing your recovery seed on steel with a nail or any sharp object and keep it in a safe location.

Emails and online storage spaces are not meant for keeping crypto wallet recovery seeds.

No such thing as good advice because advices are based off of experience and it's unlikely that there's people out there that's living similar lives albeit it can be argued that if what you're doing is the same discipline like trading, the point would still stand because of your constitution as a human and a person, no one is the same so what might be tolerable to you might be too much for someone. The best advice is probably to take all the advice with a grain of salt.

Everyone who has had a Bitcoin hack so far has done something wrong with their wallets that allowed the hackers to gain access to their accounts. People make mistakes first and learn from those mistakes. A person who lost his bitcoins due to the first mistake will not make the same mistake the second time. We must be careful when using Bitcoin. No information about the security of your wallet can be shared with anyone. If BTC disappears from a person's account more than once, that person is definitely not able to provide maximum security for his account. Those whose bitcoins have been hacked by hackers don't despair buy bitcoins again and ensure maximum wallet security only then you can safely store BTC in your wallet.

Learning through your own mistakes is a valid way to learn in most cases, but I think this market is one of the few exceptions to that rule, as a single mistake can be enough to make you lose all your capital to a scammer and it could become the most expensive mistake on your life.

As such it is way better to learn from the mistakes of others and see what they did for such a thing to never happen to them again, this way you can still secure your coins but you can do so without losing your coins in the process.

No, I will seek for solution first to know how to solve the problem so that hackers will not hack my wallet again before I will continue buying Bitcoin and have full confidence of recovery what I have lost in the past.
Well, I have never be hack over some years because I always do everything possible to kept my Bitcoin very well, in a way hackers cannot have access to my personal details because if they don't have your seeds phrase or password to your wallet, they will not have access to it. I think, those investors that experienced this Bitcoin wallet hacked like two or three times are those investors who doesn't know how to keep their seeds phrase very well in their environment because of you leave your wallet outside very easy for hackers to steal your Bitcoin.

Can you keep buying bitcoin if you have already get hacked like twice or more in the past?
For me personally it depends on how much I lose in bitcoin assets. Because if for example I only lose a few bitcoins, I will definitely continue to invest and buy more bitcoins. However, if for example I lost a fairly large amount of bitcoin assets, I think maybe I would stop for a moment before continuing to invest again. But not to give up not investing in bitcoin again, but to cool my mind first. Because after all, I am an ordinary human being, who will definitely suffer if I lose a fairly large amount of bitcoin. And after my mind returned cool and clear. I will definitely correct the mistakes that made me lose bitcoin first and after that I will definitely look for capital to re-invest in bitcoin.

~Snip
What advice is worth passing out to people who have lost their Bitcoin more than once and are on the hedge of giving up?
Providing advice to bitcoin investors who have repeatedly lost their bitcoins. In my opinion, the best advice is to give advice that is comfortable in your ears or heart first. Maybe it's like providing motivation that makes him enthusiastic again. Because in the phase of experiencing repeated losses, especially in large amounts, the investor's thoughts, mentality and feelings will definitely be destroyed. So providing motivation first is a very appropriate medicine. Apart from that, in my personal opinion, at this phase, don't associate or talk about Bitcoin first. Because the situation is definitely not right. So in this phase, treat the mental condition first, only after the mental breakdown has healed can advice be given regarding bitcoin losses.

And my advice is quite simple, namely to remind these investors that next time when investing in Bitcoin, never be careless and always be careful, especially in storing Bitcoin assets themselves. Then the second will definitely remind investors about the risk factors. Because it cannot be denied, losing bitcoin due to being hacked or stolen is a risk that must be accepted gracefully by bitcoin investor. Then the last suggestion, I will definitely remind the person (investor). That every bitcoin loss that occurs should be used as a very important experience and lesson. Because if one day want to start investing in bitcoin again, this experience will definitely be a very good lesson.
