PI ? which PI? na the one wey never enter market and e get any other one?,
Pi is listed on some exchanges. It is listed on exchanges like HTX (formerly known as Huobi global) and Bitmart. But your other post about the coin is entirely right. Even if I want to gamble and get some altcoins, Pi can never be in my mined. A coin that its marketcap is not yet known to the public. I think there maybe something shady about the coin.
I don't follow up PI because the community are too difficult to liberate from their own shackles of next big thing in cryptocurrency but that listing was a different thing PI, the real PI does not have official listing. I could remember that time the CEO made some announcements about that on Facebook and twitter that the real PI is not listed on the exchange yet and that is why you see that people that buy are local traders that are buying from each other anticipating for the official listing so they can buy at high price.
To me I just think most of this scams get a large pool of investors through the influencers and influencers make money by post agreements . Also, most of this are not even solid projects even some are deliberately created for noobs who literally have no idea of crypto that's where Bep scams come in , scamming hundreds of people on just a token which isn't completely stable. But what can we do? Nothing this is not even applicable only to crypto even to grow a nonsense account just go through an influencer . That's the world we are building today , generally altcoins can't be trusted .
Altcoins are all the same and they have the same thing in common like hype, shilling, high marketing and after the growth of the coin, they collapse and give excuse, they have all these in common, there is no altcoin that has never undergone these phase, only few like ETH still relevant but even that one hide behind bitcoin, they don't have their own power, if Bitcoin sneeze, all of them go just dy bleed anyhow, avoid them.
If we are to discuss about altcoins effectively, we should first list out the most successful and begin from there.
It is unadvised for newbies to start investing in altcoins when they have little knowledge of cryptocurrencies or how the market for trading and payments transaction is.
Altcoins have the potential to double ones investment but can also reduce it to zeros when the market volatilities hit or for some other wack reasons, that's why BTC is the most advised investment, although it is more expensive to purchase, it is a great choice when considering DCA strategy of investment.
What is the use of something when you can make money from it and potential have way means to screw you, why? I don't mind the profit should come slowly but altcoins are not like that way, they come like a seasonal thing, build up the momentum, all hopes high and then collapse again and that is how it continues until there is no new update to capture new investors and you called that investment, it is better to keep with Bitcoin, I know for certain that it will grow if not because of anything but for halving is there to bring miners and investors together.
