Hey MJ, I have been made aware of this development and I am reaching out to my friend at NCG for clarification. It apprears that they have a plethora of coins ready to hit a heritage auction in october, among these are many cass coins. ChiBiTy made me aware of this, I can't wait to get some coins graded with them!

Yeah, looks like a ton of Casascius brass are going to be sold....

After working with ICG and PCGS for a bit now, I am just not a fan of PCGS and NGC where I have to have a membership just to submit a coin or note.
AND Also have to ship them the coins....

Granted, NGC is pretty cheap per year for the lowest tier at $25.. and PCGS & NGC both give credits/vouchers for offsetting the cost of grading when you sign up for the more expensive tiers

I would much rather give my business to ICG where I can drive over, walk-in and submit and pick-up orders in person... so much more piece of mind

ie....Yesterday I dropped off a $350,000 order at ICG to people I already know and trust... not a chance in hell I would ever mail this to PCGS or NGC

Regarding PCGS, It's kinda worse than described. I believe, but could be wrong, that with a subscription, the free submissions you get cannot be used with physical bitcoins. I value PCGS a lot but, they do not make it easy or cheap.

I hope that’s not the case. I just mailed some Casacius and polymerbits, with a voucher.

This part is factually incorrect, wrong:  "the free submissions you get cannot be used with physical bitcoins".  However, their customer service experience leaves a lot left to be desired.

I have personally never submitted redeemed Casacius coins but I’ve seen plenty of them so I’m sure you can

Just to clarify, you definitely can submit physical bitcoins. PCGS certifies a growing number of coins. My question and point is this: When you buy a PCGS membership you get 2,4 or 8 free submissions or these submissions are included in the membership fee. I do not believe you can use these free submissions with physical bitcoins.  You pay out of pocket and extra for special designations and I believe physical bitcoins do not fit in the standard certification. Let me know if someone has successfully used a membership freebie to slab a coin.

Beware of scammers. I will never discuss the sale of Collectibles on Telegram or any other messaging client outside the forum.

Yes, you can use membership freebies to slab coins; I've done so personally.

Yes, just depends on the level of service you use.
Each voucher gives you a $40 credit if I am remembering correctly

What value NGC use for fee calculation for example of the Casascius Coin?
If they add the unredeemed Bitcoin value on it it's going to get expensive cause they charge 450$+1% of "fair market  value".
