You have usdt in tron network than there is no way to swap without paying trx fee. trx withdrawing fee is very low from centralized exchange. you have just to pay one trx for withdrawal and also minimum withdraw limit is very low only 2 trx. You want to withdraw usdt from tron network to other networks or just want to swap from usdt to trx ans hold?

Tron is famous for feeless/low fee transactions but it's not the case in reality.

Tron was charging very low fee, This is true. I am using Tron network for many years but in two years they increased their fee approximately 2$ trx for one transaction of usdt which is second high fee charger after Ethereum. I have not used for some months and not aware now how much fee Tron charging for one transaction

You have usdt in tron network than there is no way to swap without paying trx fee. trx withdrawing fee is very low from centralized exchange. you have just to pay one trx for withdrawal and also minimum withdraw limit is very low only 2 trx.

It's very cheap to transfer tron/trc20 currencies from cexes cause cexes would have lots of tron staked. For normal user, it's not convenient to stake plenty, it takes hefty amount of tron staked to make actually fee less transactions.

I first gotta convert usdt to trx, then I can do anything as I'll have trx to pay fees.

I don't come across a usage situation with dex that would do this, and of course with cex the question is pretty meaningless.

I encountered a similar situation when using L2-networks (zkSync, Polygon). None of the bridges provide the opportunity to pay the network commission in the token you are swapping. The bridge swap service itself can be paid for with a token; and if I remember correctly, there are only a few bridges through which you can pay the commission with the native token of the blockchain in which your token is swapped.
This is terribly inconvenient, but these are the realities of cross-chain transfers/swaps.

Trx is the fee you pay to use Tron blockchain, without it, interaction will be difficult to achieve, you can't swap, you can't send but you maybe able to signed with your private; that's the least I think you can do with your wallet and it's not even recoded on the exchange, so it even baseless of this discussion. Get TRX as little as 10, that's enough to make you have a minimum of 4 swap from any of the available liquidity pool you want to swap your USDT.

You may use any of the non kyc exchanges and convert there but you also need TRX to send out the USDT to the platform.

Well, topic is about if there is any exchange which allows direct conversion without having trx. On ethereum, there is cowswap which allows some tokens to be swapped and fees be paid in token itself, I am not active in trx ecosystem, and if there was any such possibility hence the question.

10 trx is not enough for anything. At first I had 21 trx, went to sunswap and initiated the exchange, it took away all balance and transaction failed. The fuck? So I converted other crypto to trx via instant exchange, and went to exchange again, for approval transaction it again took 21 trx (~1$) and for actual swap transaction it needed 110 something trx ($10) to complete it which ofc I would refuse to do.

So then I converted my usdt to matic via instant exchange now I'm at peace.

A while back I converted a token to eth, I didn't have any eth in wallet, and it went through with fee being paid in token I was swapping from.

We all know tron network offers very low transaction fees even you will do it in some exchanges like transferring your asset between exchanges, it will really help.

It is the case in reality. Tron transfers ~3 per day are completely free. You do not have to pay any fee. If you want to exchange/transfer Tether USDT TRC20 via TRON network, it will costs ~30 TRON. It is not to possible to exchange Tether USDT, and pay in USDT, you can not transfer.

Such swaps are available only on centralized exchanges, there you don't need TRX to exchange USDT. I heard that there are exchanges where USDT can be withdrawn for free without commission, but I forgot the name of the exchange in question. On centralized exchanges, USDT withdrawal almost always costs $1 and very often it is cheaper than doing the transaction through your wallet.

I guess dexes should allow this type of trade soon into their platforms while the centralized exchanges have no problem with this.

Much better if there is a development like this when a user is running out of fee and then they'll be allowed to swap for which they'll sign a contract and after allowing with the trade without having the fee.

Then, whatever is the principal amount from that trade taken by that user will be subjected to the estimation and deduction for the fee that has been taken cared of by that dex.

You don't need little tron, you need close to 30. Have said in one of comments prior I had 21 trx in wallet, went to swap on sunswap transaction failed and all my balance were deducted, at least dapp should be considerate to say what's minimum required beforehand.

It is the case in reality. Tron transfers ~3 per day are completely free. You do not have to pay any fee. If you want to exchange/transfer Tether USDT TRC20 via TRON network, it will costs ~30 TRON. It is not to possible to exchange Tether USDT, and pay in USDT, you can not transfer.

I paid 13 trx to transfer my trx, weren't free.
