Anyone else getting a lot of stale shares the last couple of days? I'm getting about 18-25% invalid shares now on 8 rigs running on BAMT. It was always in the low 1-2% range.

Yeah, I have. There seems to be some trouble with the pool the last couple days. Web site becomes unavailable for a while, miners dropping off to backup pools many times a day. I'm sure they are trying to fix it.

I switched to a back up pool at BTCGuild and have 0% stale or invalid on all 8 rigs for at least a hour now. So it's definitely something to do with 50BTC pool. I will switch back when the problem is resolved.

yes, I am also experiencing some problems the last cople days. lot of invalids, also, my worker disconnects a lot.

any news, updates from pool operator?

Any news from operators would be appreciated.  I ended up trying another pool ATM.

But would love to go back to 50BTC if i could get speeds back, and invalids not going crazy to often.

Same deal here, for now packing my mining gear to use of other pool with less problems and better informing in case there are some. Good luck, hope there's some ideas why miners are having these problems.

You should not go anywhere imo... I got a mini heart attack myself as well, when saw the first time all my machines offline, and I'm just 11ghash, being 58ish on the hall of fame (which is kinda crap, but hey) so please don't panic if you have anything lower than that.

Okay, here we go again....

Worker is dead.  Cry

Have you tried connecting to the pool nearest you, rather than the general url. I'm in UK so have pool-de, then pool-ru then pool-us

24 Hours
150,000 shares, 9 invalids, < 0.1% Rejects and payments are almost exactly what they should be for hashrate (and it's been like this for weeks, no problems except web page)

Whoa, I didn't know there was specific pools for different regions. I'll try to connect to the nearest pool for me.  Smiley

Try this for an explanation of how and why share difficulty affects your income, and what settings you should use.

*John is dizzy from the math*  Tongue I'm running at around 8.5GH/s for now, and I want to submit say 13 shares per minute, I'll need to choose diff 8, right? What is the optimal share amount per minute?

Thanks everyone!

Hi John,

Did you get a chance to change the pool to nearest on to you..?
Did that help..?

My hashrate seems way off.. Both my ASIC blades are running overclocked and i get only around GH/s whereas i get close to 25 GH with the same settings.!

Thanks,

Are any of you using a block erupter blade to mine with 50btc?  I am having a heck of a time getting it to connect and have had no problems with btcguild or slush.  Perhaps I am entering a setting wrong in the config utility.

Right now I have my stratum proxy ip as the "server address", but I am not sure what to put in the command line for stratum:

Is this right?

mining_proxy.exe -o pool.50btc.com -p 3333 -rt

And then I have my 50btc username and a made up password in the config utility entered as follows: [50btcaccountemail_50btcworker:50btcpassword],[backuppoollogin:backuppoolpassword]

What am I doing wrong?  Is the port wrong?

I have 2 blades along with 50btc hashing nicely.

I have everything similar to the config you have mentioned except i don;t have -rt

Got it working.  I misstyped the login information (duh).

Wow, this pool is awesome.  3% vs. 7.5% pps at btcguild?  I was getting pretty sick of the variance and constantly checking blockchain to see if they found any blocks.  Now I can pretty much sit back and enjoy all of this.

Thanks for all the help everyone on telling me not to move pools.  Kept trying this as i did other pools.

Ended up i set up each rig as a worker instead of sharing 1 login.   Seems to be working on 12ish hours.... hoping for the best!

According to mining_proxy.exe --help

-rt, --real-target    Propagate >diff1 target to getwork miners. Some miners work incorrectly with higher difficulty.

Getting erroneous hashrates too. Connected to US server. My local miner reports 1.8 GH/s, but 50BTC API and website are reporting 0.8 GH/s.

I don't know half of you half as well as I should like; and I like less than half of you half as well as you deserve.

Same here.  Hash rates were showing half or less than the norm.  Cgminer was disconnecting.  I was on the US server FWIW.  I moved to btcguild for now but if it ever runs normally again I would like to come back.

So what's the deal with this pool?  Is it safe to come back lol... it seems the admin has been away for a few days and they have lost a bunch of hash rate.  I'm guessing problems still persist?
