It's all just an excuse for him to manipulate the market, not a reason worth considering. The news that bitcoin pollutes the environment is just nonsense reasons spread by people who are jealous of bitcoin. We don't need to worry too much about that.
Every information we get on the internet should become knowledge, but we cannot fully trust it before looking for the source of the truth of the information. The internet is moving so fast in human life and there are many sources that produce any news and if you can't verify it first, it's feared that the information you get will actually be misleading.

If given the chance, I bet he will continue to repeat his manipulative behavior to make a profit. He is a businessman and profit is what he desires so there is no need to be surprised if it happens again. Personally, I don't care what Elon will do with the market because he can only manipulate it for a short time but not forever. I believe that at some point, people will no longer trust him and the market will no longer have any influence from him, just like how we eliminated China's influence in the past.
Every businessman definitely seeks to profit from the influence he has and Elon Musk is one of the many influential people in the world, so it is not surprising if something he talks about becomes a reference for several people, giving rise to market manipulation behavior. Bitcoin is not influenced by just one person regarding the rise and fall of prices because if that happened then maybe Bitcoin is not currently one of the best investments and you are right that when people start to understand Bitcoin then the belief in manipulation caused by Elon Musk will no longer have much influence.

Nobody knows if he will keep his word or not. Besides being a businessman, he is a speculator. This kind of person is very likely to lie in order to reach his personal goals. Don't put faith on him or on any other whale. When you do this, you are expecting Bitcoin to become an hostage of those people, so when it's interesting for them, BTC skyrockets, and when they don't want anymore, BTC crashes. Bitcoin has to be independent and non-manipulable by figures like Musk.
Well, Elon Musk is a very influential person and whatever he has said on any social media platform can influence the mindset of the readers. Maybe we could say that this won't affect the price of Bitcoin but can't deny the fact that the number of followers who have been in the crypto space will also give impact the market trend.

Anyway, we're not sure if he is lying or not but he could do nothing to manipulate the price but for Doge, still he can.
