Some people and analysts are predicting that the price of bitcoin may increase in October. But I think the price of bitcoin may not increase as expected.  I think bitcoin can increase to $27400 to $28000 but can be the maximum price and later start to decrease and have resistance at 25000 again. But generally speaking, I do not think bitcoin price is going over $30000 in October. That is just my guess.

October was mostly on the positive side for bitcoin when September was supposed to be negative, which didn't happen. This time the scenario was a bit different, so wait for the opening of the month to get a better prediction. BTW, this post should be moved over to the speculation board. This board is not for bitcoin price discussion; there is a dedicated board that serves that purpose.

I just noticed that when Bitcoin halving is coming, the month of September is really not a good time to do day trading because, for sure, the effort you will make will be wasted. Every year, the month of September really comes.

In the upcoming month of October, I think there will be a bit of an aggressive movement in the market, because I have also noticed that in the month of October there is also a change in terms of increasing the value of Bitcoin or other cryptocurrencies. Especially since there is an upcoming event in the month of October regarding the application of Blacktock in Sec.

I am hoping for a much better preforming Bitcoin - as well as the whole crypto industry - this coming month of October. Historically, this is supposed a good month but then again we know that there are times when Bitcoin is simply getting unprecedented with its volatile nature that can be affected by many known and even unknown factors. Seems to me that the market is really expecting an approval of any ETF application before it would have a big bull run and in this case this doldrum can be ongoing into the end of the year. Sometimes I am feeling frustrated but this is something we need to accept.

Looking at their records every year October is always good in terms of bitcoin growth and not even a few people are making the same predictions and assumptions for October this year but indeed we still only have to wait for how they are this month.
I personally feel that with their good records of several years and with the growth of bitcon that has been felt since the last few months, this October will still be the same as previous years where bitcoin is green but this also cannot be a definite reference because we just have to keep waiting and buy bitcoin and hold it until the target we want in profit.

Alongside the recent surge in volume, it's becoming evident that a wave of activity is on the horizon for Bitcoin. I'm confident that come October, we may witness a slight shake-up in Bitcoin's price. Considering that "what month it is" has little to no effects on bitcoin market I have to say that we can't predict the price like this. However, this month we have the increasing energy price and as we get close to another Hard Winter, for the second year we are going to see increased inflation and I don't think the increasing interest rates policy can help anymore which means this time the inflation won't be accompanied by recession and as a result bitcoin price can finally start going up.

I am extremely bullish on crypto from October onwards this year and then into 2024. And the major Catalyst going on is the coming spot Bitcoin ETF approval. I am predicting an upside target of around $34,000 for October.

I'm just enjoying what's happening with bitcoin every month since actively joining the crypto world. The target within two years is that I can gain knowledge with the experience I gain by following and comparing it myself.
Based on the reading I found in all sources, October is a different month from September because September is said to have never been good for the price of bitcoin.

I just opened the coin price chart, the difference in bitcoin prices appeared from 26k to 27k. I'm not an expert in this area, but the signs of movement towards 28k in October are already felt based on the situation.

From your analysis, it is pretty obvious that October have always been a good month for Bitcoin. The least gain in October being 5.5% is a huge rise if you ask me and if we maintain that this year, it might signify that the bulls are getting involved earlier than anticipated in respect of the bull market that is expect to kickoff next year following the Bitcoin halving.

I will keep this post in mind and use it to monitor market developments as we enter the last quarter of this year. I think it is wise for those still expecting further dips to start thinking twice.

Can you attach the data source because I do not remember that there was a month in which Bitcoin continued to rise since 2013. There are always several green months and some red, but the number of green months is more on average.
Bitcoin price is currently governed by the 50- and 200-day EMA at $26,648 and the momentum is still not enough as the 27777 level is becoming more difficult to break, which may indicate that if we close the month of September at these levels, it will most likely be next month. Red, or at least in the 31,200 R.

Many are predicting that October will be a bullish month for Bitcoin, well here is what I think, if October does become very bullish, the first quarter of the new year 2024 will turn bearish, I think it's better for Bitcoin to just maintain its bearish ness for now going into the next year, but what do I know anyway?

The most important thing isn't price action today, I mean all those hoping for a bullish October, what is your plan? To take profit in a bear market? It makes no sense to me because the long run is my main concern.

At least 10% pump incoming. October has been really bullish for Bitcoin so far and this year this bullishness will be supported by the approaching halving. On the other hand, the pre-halving year is mostly sideways, so it would be very unexpected if we'll reach $50k for example.

The bad September is over and looking at the history of October every year as you mentioned, we have the right to expect a green month for bitcoin. But don't be too subjective because there is no guarantee that history will continue to repeat itself like what September showed us. Personally, I want bitcoin to recover and the market to become more vibrant so I hope October will be a green month. But I also don't think bitcoin can surpass $30k, maybe bitcoin will fluctuate around the $29k, $30k area.

We would love to see a Bitcoin pump in October next month, but we won't know if it's a pump or whether the price of Bitcoin will stay like this. Everything is still a mystery and even though we have analyzed it based on the history of Bitcoin's journey so far, it also cannot give us a guarantee to see whether there is a pump or not.

And if next October there will be a pump for Bitcoin prices, I'm still curious about how high the pump will be. At the current price of Bitcoin, it would require a very large pump to reach $40k or even $50k. And it also requires a lot of positive news to push the price of Bitcoin up.

Its a good data to collect .Its the data which are showing the positive results itself .We are really hopeful that the market will go up on October .I was just waiting for a positive move but have few doubt about to year end .My experience helping to say tgat i have seen all the year end crypto went bearish so if we see any pump on October we may see a dump at the year end .So very much thoughtful if i go for investment right now or become patient for the upcoming year .I just realy cclose my eyes on the chart and hope i get a decision on right time.

Only in 2013 did bitcoin outperform the market in every October to 50% since its inception. We've seen a number of bear markets this year, and many of the projections from previous years didn't match up with this year's, so I don't think the will alter significantly from where it is today. My guess is that, it will be quite difficult to see it reach $30K before the end of this month. I believe that the market will still see some volatility before entering a long-term bull market by the end of the year, or no later than January 2024.

Until now bitcoin is still having difficulty maintaining its value above $27k, but there is hope in October about that. I believe a price recovery is more likely now that we have been in the accumulation phase over the last few weeks, but there would certainly have to be a big push for $35k to be reached.

Better to have this kind of anticipation rather than on making yourself that too bullish about the price.It isnt really that bad on trying to look those histories in speaking about those percentage gains on a certain month

of the year. It could really vary and there are really that those common factors on which it could really be affecting out those numbers on which it would really be just that better that never ever make yourself that too optimistic towards the price so that on the time that it didnt hit up on what you had anticipated then you wont really be making yourself that get frustrated. This is why always be that versatile on whatever numbers that it would be showing but honestly we are all hoping for some positive for this upcoming October which considering that in month of September which the price is really just that behaving on moving sideways

We have entered the safe zone again for Bitcoin. This part is fun for me and it is much easier to read the price movements in this part. I think we have left behind a difficult process and now the fears and worries are behind us. I made my purchases in Bitcoin in two levels. It is still difficult to say price predictions for October this year even though you have provided facts for every October in previous years. But I can only believe that if the price increase can occur in October, I think the level of increase will be slightly better than in October last year. Because the potential for price declines is still very possible in the next month and in fact the level of price change may not be too much in the next month if the increase only occurs in a very small percentage.

Aggressive movement? Do you mean a significant change in price? 
No sure whether we will have a significant movement in Bitcoin price, I don't think the Blacktock will bring significant impact if we still have many FUDs. I don't really understand what Blacktock is, but I feel that FUDs still have higher impacts. The only thing that probably have a big influence is Bitcoin halving, the hype may be started in the early of the next year (not in the next month).

Anyway, there is no guarantee that the previous good history on October will repeat. The current price scheme may be different from the previous cycles. So, I'm not very optimistic about the potential pump in the next month. I prefer to wait for good news related to crypto world, IMO it may have bigger impacts.

a +5% in 2022 is actually like no move at all. Bitcoin experiences moves like this almost every month so getting a + or - 5% can be a statistical error.
Don't get too excited.

The market reacts so much to the slightest piece of news about ETF and Gensler that you can get +10 or -10% this month without any real news about bitcoin.

Based on that sequence, then we should get one more drop then by 2024 we'll see an October that's on gains.

$28k won't be hard since we've seen $27k and then pulled back a bit. Monthly performance is irrelevant, because there's no cyclic factors in Bitcoin that cycle in 1 full year. There's also no seasonality. Bitcoin cycles are only tied to halvenings and repeat every 4 years.

People should turn that into price before they judge, so if we are at near 27k levels currently, a price increase of %10 would be 2.7k, so that would make it 29.7k. According to what I can figure out about the price of bitcoin in October each year, there often is a rise in price during this month. The closeness of October each year towards the bitcoin halving season all relies on when the month of October falls in and that will determine the bitcoin price increase to be witnessed. 

For instance, "2020" was a year before the last halving of 2021. Bitcoin's price soared to roughly 27.7% in October of that year, and in 2021 (months after halving), it increased to 39.93%.

Based on what transpired in October 2020–2021, the price of bitcoin had risen by that point. Therefore, historically speaking, because October of this year is a year before the halving year (2024), the same thing might occur.

I anticipate bitcoin to at least surpass the long-overdue $30k barrier by the end of October.

Currently the price of Bitcoin still tends to be the same even though the price experienced a brief increase in the last two days. $50K is too big a price prediction for this year so it will be quite difficult for Bitcoin to get there because currently the price of Bitcoin is still below $28K, but if the prediction is for a price of $30K I think it could be quite logical for Bitcoin to reach again. Because everyone also needs to see how big the Bitcoin percentage is when it decreases, not just look at the percentage when it increases.

Everyone expecting a bull run next year. Also they are expecting an october month as a bull month.  I am expecting a heavy dump(15K-20K) before the next  bull run. Also bitcoin halving is starting next year(April).  So there will be more demand than the supply.

Coins got to 66% of the ATH right up to and  at the ½ ing in 2016  that was a move from about 400 usd to 700 usd

we would need to move from 27000 to 45,000/50,000 by April 1 2024.

the 2015 oct month we did 33%. if we do that we go from 27,000 to 36,000

So I think we get to 36,000 give or take 2,000 this month's end.

I think we’ll finish October higher than we started it but I don’t expect it to be a massive green month. I’d be ecstatic if we close the month over 30k, I’m not sure we’ll do that. The price will soar within 2 years but I don’t expect a parabolic breakout for at least 6 months.

Can you attach the data source because I do not remember that there was a month in which Bitcoin continued to rise since 2013. There are always several green months and some red, but the number of green months is more on average.
Bitcoin price is currently governed by the 50- and 200-day EMA at $26,648 and the momentum is still not enough as the 27777 level is becoming more difficult to break, which may indicate that if we close the month of September at these levels, it will most likely be next month. I am also looking for that data because it seems to be none that something like that happened as there are only small increase in some months since the beginning of 2023.

Did I miss something, what are the new fuds about Binance?  I remember that the news regarding the lawsuit between Binance.us and the SEC was over and had almost no impact on the market anymore.

Perhaps the best scenario for us is to see bitcoin around $28k this October, that is if the trend continue up to the end of the month. It should be, during the 4th quarter of each year people are always anticipating for a bullrun. Though we have not seen that so far a few days after we enter the month of October, but that is totally fine as we are still very early in this quarter.
Market sentiments remains bullish moving closer to the bitcoin halving. $30k resistance level is quite achievable this month, but I won't gonna expect it won't come down below that once it touches that level. I am expecting bitcoin will play around the 28k to 30k region.
I may be expecting a bullrun pre-halving but most likely new ATH will come several months after the halving.

The average percentage return in October this year will probably reach above 7% because the average percentage return in October 2022 is only 5.53%. I can't show you the table but I've seen it.

So you think the price should always improve year after year? There might be new people who adopt BTC and other positive happenings but negative things are still bound to happen which can also affect the price in the same vibe. Don't be sad just yet because what you and others are saying about an increase can still come true because last year was only a bear season and sometimes after it, is a bull season.

In your addition, I think the ones who does that are the active traders, and it does not mean that they are neglecting their health anymore. They do believe in BTC or they are positive about it. It's just that they make trading as their main source of income.

I believe that we can't really end up with a return that can't be all that great or can't be something that works harder than we think, just wait for it to get better. I think reaching a higher price this month could happen, but staying under 30k is also not something that would be terrible neither, it could definitely be something that could fail our hopes once again.

Movement is really that in between 2-3k increments in a short time and we've seen those movements on this October on which we can really say that it isnt really that as boring on the month of September but i wont really be that so shocked if the price would really be just moving within these levels on not to even break that 30k once again. Im already preparing myself  for those scenarios which the only month or moments on which i do see that significant movement will happen would really be on Q1 next year or something into those near months before halving event happens. This is where usually hype and fomo thing do really tend to kick in but of course its not something that recommendable on dragging yourself into some FOMO because its never been good on the first place.

Basing up with those previous charts and tallies then month of October do usually be ending up on a positive candle on which it would really be signifying that we are really that on better side of things

The cryptocurrency market does not have weekends nor does it have any connection with other financial markets. Forex and stock markets don't trade over the weekend, which means bitcoin won't move either. That is one advantage of bitcoin, where day traders can make profits 24/7 instead of other markets.
If you check the bitcoin price today you will also see that it is moving and at one point it was above 30k1$ and I think it could go even higher until the end of the month.

Seriously this has to get that strong positive reaction on this movement because from all I know some of these guys who predict the movement of Bitcoin would be very disappointed because the market just did the opposite of what they strongly believe, like this month the price won't get to $30k. I still believe that before the end of today it will get back to $30k and it will never go back to $27k or $28k. I just see it going up and not back down anytime soon. This week the cryptocurrency market looks more green because of the price increase and I hope it doesn't end soon because on the one hand I am also hoping for a price increase that could exceed $30K this month on Bitcoin so a small correction like what happened today is something that I won't pay attention to it because I'm more focused on improving.

Now the price is still very close to $30K so I also hope that this can continue this month so that next month Bitcoin can exceed $30K again when there is an increase like this month. End of month will see us pull back to weekly average or about 32k I think.   Reasoning being we have an over extended flag formation, it could be bullish if it were compact and we were to continue upwards from here.   To briefly make formation at the top of a rise or flag pole then continue upwards, that very strong performance.  However we drift a little too much, people want to take some profit and hence price goes a little lower.
  More boring but the price action confirming 32k as a low remains quite bullish just not quite so fast in the gains as it powered us recently.

As we are currently in the month of October, and we have also seen how much the price of Bitcoin has been pumping. At the beginning of October, the Bitcoin market was in the $25,000 range but didn't grow that much, but has grown almost as well now. Over the last few days, the price of Bitcoin has risen sharply, touching $35,000, the highest it has been this year. Naturally or not, initially it was the effect of Cointelegraph giving invalid news about ETF acceptance that FOMO occurred and many bought Bitcoin at this time so that it broke the $30k resistance, then indeed dumped after the news was not true.

But we must see that the previous trend in September changed, because in previous years it was in the bearish or red zone, but this year it was able to rise to 3.95% and then in October yesterday it rose quite high to 28.51% which indicates that this is the peak of a fairly high increase after last year it only rose slightly.

But for November we cannot immediately assume that this month will be in the red zone, remember that the trend can change and the current price has broken $35k++.

Im already that preparing my USDT for this upcoming bearish news which might pop out anytime soon but well it isnt that always a guarantee yet this market couldnt really be always follow with those patterns.

The market certainly needs a few more corrections to go higher.
The market is also getting saturated, but if the trend is still good the price will still continue to break some nearby resistance.

2012 -10%
2014 -12%
2018 -4%

a +5% in 2022 is actually like no move at all. Bitcoin experiences moves like this almost every month so getting a + or - 5% can be a statistical error.
Don't get too excited.

The market reacts so much to the slightest piece of news about ETF and Gensler that you can get +10 or -10% this month without any real news about bitcoin.

Hmm, not sure though, it's very hard to beat the numbers in October, it's almost 30% run. So far we have seen the resistance around $35k, and obviously, it's a very hard to break right now. We need something positive around this November for us investors to FOMO and then headed for at least the $40k'ish level.

$45k will be too much, maybe we can attain that price somewhere at the start of the New Year.

Of course, who wouldn't like to see that numbers, but we need to be conservative and stay on our TA. And it is not showing $45k for me at least for this November.

The price of Bitcoin rose significantly in the month of October. I'm only talking about October 2022 and from there the price went down and by the beginning of January 2023 the price of Bitcoin had dropped drastically. But come October 2023, the price of Bitcoin has increased significantly because of the Bitcoin bull run ahead. We are now in the middle of November and and something in October was done regardless of whether the increase was good or not. In fact, the price increase at the end of October has sparked more investor optimism to try to maintain the positive trend towards bitcoin. We have almost penetrated $38k several times and the price of bitcoin has even risen to $37,685 after being corrected to $35,241 the day before.

Approaching the end of the year, prices are getting wilder. I expect $40k to break even though it could actually be higher. If in November $40k is broken, then I believe we will be at $45k in December. But $40k is still the strongest resistance this month.

October did very well with a positive start and it ended up with a green which to me I'd say Bitcoin price and the month of October favored alot of investors. Is like October isn't done yet, if we still have more weeks (in October) I believe that price of Bitcoin would have gotten to $40k in the month of October, then this month of November would have rounded it up to $45-$48k.
Last month was one of the best and I hope this month continues to give more green in the next coming days.
