Hello, what options are there at the moment to trade without fees?

I saw a video some time ago that talked about an exchange (maybe it was quantfury) that offered trading without commissions? has anyone used this exchange?

Is there any exchange that offers spot trading without fees at the moment? is bitget still offering it? and if so, what should I take into account when trading? liquidity issues etc?
Any other options?

Is there any exchange that offers spot trading without fees at the moment?
I have just taken this from Bybit, all pairs with USDC are free.

I can see convert on exchanges like OKX and Binance. Convert trading fee is $0. Make sure you read about convert on the exchanges you see it, it may have fee, but the exchanges I saw it, it is having no fee required.

Binance also has a zero fee on a few other pairs active in their spot trading, the conversion option of exchanges are also zero fee but most times they convert in a price little different from current trading price.
Quote
Due to popular demand, Binance is pleased to extend a new zero-maker fee trading promotion for ARS, BRL, and ZAR spot trading pairs at 00:00 (UTC) on September 8, 2023.
The promotion will cover the following eight spot trading pairs: BTC/ARS, USDT/ARS, BTC/BRL, ETH/BRL, USDT/BRL, BTC/ZAR, ETH/ZAR, and USDT/ZAR.

Not sure about Bitget, but please try and check out MEXC, that is if their promotion is still open.

They are offering zero spot trading fee for a limited time. This has been on since somewhere in April. This is some huge number of months to offer zero trading fees up to date... read through  - https://www.mexc.com/learn/article/17827791509403

Aside from Binance, there are a few exchanges that have no fees.
Ain't promoting this article but it seems it has very helpful content regarding to your question.

I would recommend MEXC. I've only been using MEXC for the past 2 days. Regarding trading fees on the MEXC platform, it provides zero fees on spot trades and 0.01% on futures.

The platform is also convenient, without KYC too. However, if you intend to trade large amounts there, I recommend completing KYC. To increase the fund withdrawal limit for 24 hours.

Trading Spot Fees and Margin on MEXC.

Trading Spot Fees and Margin on Binance.

Trading Spot Fees and Margin on Bybit.

If I remember correctly, this was FTX, and we all know what happened to everyone who left their cryptocurrenices in FTX, as it announced bankruptcy.

Zero fees are a good feature, but these exchanges must make profits. if there is a new exchange that promises zero fees without clarifying how to make profits, it is better to stay away from it and try to ensure that high liquidity, the possibility of withdrawing coins, and legal licenses are what motivates you to continue using it. if you have several options, so withdrawal fees and trading fees are the last measure to compare between them.
If you are a merchant, there is nothing wrong with paying 5% of your profits as fees as long as you get profits.

Unless you're using the likes of Binance and ByBit where there's so much liquidity (both has fee-free trades on BTC/stablecoin pares if I remember correctly), probably skip trying to look for zero-fee trades because you're likely to pay more(or equal amounts) in losses in other platforms because of the lack of liquidity.

I agree with that, yes. Smaller exchanges hardly have the liquidity to even keep up with the market price, especially with lesser-known pairs. So you may already be paying significantly more for the coins than you would on other exchanges. This is less important for intra-day trades, but for trades over the course of the day it can be quite noticeable.

What I would also give to consider is the withdrawal fees. Even if the trade does not cost any fees, it is possible that the withdrawal fees are significantly more expensive than with other exchanges.

I know Binance is in a very weird place right now in terms of regulation and reputation, but if I were to use a centralized exchange, it would still be Binance.

That's true, its rarely to see good exchange that offers a free trade, though it might work with some coin but its not always free.
I won't take the risk of dealing with small exchanges even if its a free trade because I might lose more, beside trading fees is not that big and I'm sure it can cover by your profit. Just trade with reasonable amount and you can be good. Anyway, if there's a good list of good exchange here that offer a free trade, I might also look into it and try it.

Determine what you mean by no fees because you can use convert and you will not pay fees or get free trading pairs fees but even with these options I doubt that there are no fees because simply withdrawal fees can be high and therefore trading fees may be included or the prices of cryptocurrencies are lower From its real price, instead of paying $26,300 for Bitcoin, you will pay $26,100, or the fees may be hidden and deducted without you noticing. When you want to review the fees experience, review the spot withdrawal fees, the average currency price, and whether there were any hidden fees before trading

I think the big exchanges in the crypto industry, like Binance, Bybit, Mexc, and Gate.io,
provide services with zero fees when you perform trading activity on their platform. Or maybe it depends on the trading pair that you will use.

Interesting detailing, thank you!
Regarding the regulations, it has already become very difficult, especially in Europe. Exchanges like Bitpanda usually require detailed proof of origin when depositing coins. If these coins come from "dubious", unregulated exchanges or DEX, there can be problems to prove the "clean" origin of the coins.

I am curious in which direction the regulatory frenzy in America and the rest of the world will go. Europe has basically created a very good and fair framework with MiCa, but the strict regulation of the exchanges and the necessity of proof of origin will still bring a rude awakening for many ...

Perhaps you should think not about looking for exchanges that do not have trading fees, but those that do not have the necessary verification for trading. Because your personal data should be more valuable than any feeses, and first of all, you should take care of your confidentiality. Exchanges may cooperate with regulators or governments, Binance does not even hide this, think about who can access this information.

Is there any exchange that offers spot trading without fees at the moment?

On the Binance exchange, you can see that certain spot trading pairs have 0 fees. on the Bybit exchange, there also seem to be 0 fees. but I rarely trade there. I'm on Binance more often.
It seems like there have been quite a lot of suggestions from other members. and I hope OP can first look at the terms of each exchange regarding 0 fees on their spot trades. because each exchange may have different terms and conditions. such as certain types of trading or coins which cover 0 fees.

Since there are exchanges provide 0% trading fees, this will only be available for a limited time because trading fees are one of the exchanges' primary sources of revenue. I believe it was created to attract new users as well as users from other exchanges to use their service.

However, it's not efficient if you just keep transferring your funds to exchanges that offer zero trading fees because you still have to pay the withdrawal fee, besides the risk is higher if you do it because not all exchanges are as safe as Binance. So if you want for a zero fee and why not to try for their "convert" feature in Binance.

Personally I'd recommend to use Bybit because they have better liquidity and USDC pair. Binance are only offer shitcoins pair in their zero trading fees.

Bybit withdrawal fee is small too, they only charge 1 USDC https://coinmarketfees.com/exchange/bybit

On MEXC the commission seems to be quite small. I don’t trade there myself, but I’ve heard about it. Perhaps there is even no KYC, but this needs to be clarified. I would not trade without KYC because it is not secure. On binance I know there are some pairs for which they do not charge a commission
I know that there are other exchanges where there is no commission, but you need to look for it. I don't think it will be hard to find

Is there any exchange that offers spot trading without fees at the moment?
I can see convert on exchanges like OKX and Binance. Convert trading fee is $0. Make sure you read about convert on the exchanges you see it, it may have fee, but the exchanges I saw it, it is having no fee required.

I am not sure if those exchanges provide zero trading fees for using the convert option or not, but i have tried to use it one time but the spread was higher. Selling my assets in the spot market would have given me a better return than exchanging them using the convert option. Perhaps that was a real case but after that i have never tried to use those features.

That bybit offers is true. They are offering 0 fees for all the usdc pair. They are doing some promotion based on USDC.

Is there any exchange that offers spot trading without fees at the moment? is bitget still offering it? and if so, what should I take into account when trading? liquidity issues etc?
Any other options?
I've been using Binance and they're working just fine imo just ignore the FUDs being thrown out at them. I don't have used Bitget and I don't know if they are that legit imo. I think what you should take into account is if it's a liquid exchange, fast, and has lot of features to use for. Would see lot of comments to recommend Bybit as well.

Here for more details, https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5461920.0#post_point5
I have a KYC account on that exchange even though I don't actively trade there because my jurisdiction is one of those restricted (I registered before this new restriction policy). I haven't tried what will happen if I register without KYC but using my local IP, it seems too risky.

Source
Have specific pair with Binance trading without fees right now, but last several years before BUSD pair have delisting on next year all trading coins with BUSD pair without fees and interested for us with small capital for trading without have to pay fee. Right now difficult to get an exchange have feature trade without fees, need looking new opportunity or Binance added their new stable coins pair and make us enjoying trade without have paying fees. Its little help because how many often trader we get benefit few dollar in our wallet as fees trading, but as scalping trade fees seems heavy and every day spent above 10$ until 20$ for fees trading when buying or selling coins.

You have to understand that an exchange was created in the first place to make money, so you looking for where to evade fees or charges isn't proper, but sourcing the cheapest is the wise thing to do.
Network speed is also a determinant to charges because various coins use different network under Blockchain to facilitate transaction.

Commission fees are one of the revenue items of both exchanges and miners. Therefore, trading without commission is a temporary marketing move, nothing more, to attract new traders. Of course, we would like this world to be more perfect, but it is impossible. Earnings come first here

Who stated there is an exchange that does not charge a withdrawal fee? That was not something I said. Binance is a trustworthy exchange; yet, we cannot compare it to other exchanges because they are not on the same level. In my opinion, the reason they don't have 0% trading fees in legitimate and established pairs is that they no longer require it. If they continue to charge no trading fees, they will lose potential revenue. As I previously stated, if you simply want to trade spot with no trading fees and prefer to use the most trusted exchange, I recommend using Binance's "convert" feature because it is still the same as spot trading.

Ahh, these SS really hurt dear, Please consider the proper size format while posting any images, as your rank is quite high so I'm sure you are aware of a good posting format. Your screenshots are really disturbing at least for the Smartphone users... I know your intention is to share something good but please also consider our concerns as well.

For Op I would like to say mostly information is covered now as long as this topic will remain open there will be most the of recurrent posts, So Op better to choose a platofr which is reliable for you from the above data. Best of luck with trading.

And this is how business works, they might be having pairs that having zero fees but just like been said that those things would really be just that temporal.  Cheesy Business is business and there's no such thing to be like forever and this is why there would really be trading pairs on which it would really be just that having those zero maker/taker fees and it is really that something useful in speaking about taking advantage and make most of your trading journey but expect that it would be changed later on and that would really be entirely be depending on them. If you do find yourself that getting comfortable on the current exchange that you are dealing with
then it is really just that depending into your preference. Speaking about those platforms then it wouldnt be necessary for me to say up on the same thing or names on which it had been mentioned by other
members on early page or replies which i would really be definitely be suggesting or telling on the same thing.

I saw a video some time ago that talked about an exchange (maybe it was quantfury) that offered trading without commissions? has anyone used this exchange?

Yeah I am the one who got screwed by buying that FTT token which got me 0 fees for limit orders. It was great because the fees would of added up and the 20 FTT which I had to buy was maybe $20 at the time. So if you traded a lot and used limit orders it was worth it.

However we all learnt that in the end the loss was greater because the FTT are useless along with any funds kept on the exchange.

Do not mind those that says Binance has free fee for spot market, if they include link you can go through what is on the link and see what I am talking about. I am using Binance and I do not trade freely on Binance since many months ago. Another exchange I think has the free trade is MEXC, but I do not know if that is still correct as of now. Although Binance has one of the lowest trading fee.

Although every business operating as an exchange in financial markets earns it's income through various methods. The biggest sources of income are generally obtained from transaction commissions. For this reason, it is unlikely that any cryptocurrency exchange will allow commission-free transactions. Of course, many popular cryptocurrency exchanges provide the opportunity to carry out commission-free transactions with certain campaigns and events in some periods but it shouldn't be forgotten that this is applied for a certain period.

In addition, there is also the fact that cryptocurrency exchanges gain users based on the principle of reliability and for this reason many traders prefer the exchange they will use accordingly. In other words, if an exchange allows transactions with zero commission but doesn't have sufficient transaction volume in transaction parities, it will cause serious problems. Especially in leveraged transactions if you choose an exchange with a low transaction volume just to avoid paying commissions it is very likely that your positions will be closed easily as the transaction parities will be manipulated more easily.

Finally, it would definitely be very risky to entrust your capital to a cryptocurrency exchange that is not preferred by users just to make commission-free transactions.

Advertisements of various exchanges advertise that a trader can trade without trading fees by trading on their exchange. This is done only to attract a trader but to actually trade a small amount of trading fee is deducted which we may not understand. If you trade with $100 and gain a few dollars, you may have a small amount of dollars deducted from your profit share, which a trader may not realize unless they take a lot of notice. No company will provide you service without profit, whether you have profit or loss, trading companies will take certain amount of interest from you. We shouldn't worry too much about the amount of trading fee that is deducted because that amount is very small.

I will recommend you two exchanges that I used the most,  one is Mexc,  in which trading fee is zero in the spot trading and also if you are doing future trading it will cost you a very low fee. The using of Mexc Exchange is very smooth and easy to understand,  its a better choice for the beginners who are new at trading. You can trade their without any fee.

The 2nd Exchange which I used with almost zero trading fee is Bybit. Which is quite amazing,  I see mostly the best coins listed there and also it ranks 5th according to the volume. You should use it as a 2nd option. I would prefer you these two but the first one(Mexc) is quite amazing to use and easy for beginners. And also I would like to ask you,  your trading budget. If you have a decent trading budget then Bybit would be better in some aspects.

There will definitely be benefits behind the promotions given and see how the Exchange is doing even if they provide cheap fees or even free fees.
Of course, there will be conditions to be able to get free fees or discounted trading fees and there may be some events as well so that trading fees can be free.
The more users who register and enter the trade, the more profit the Exchange will get.

Indeed, the amount of fees looks very small for one transaction, but try to add up how many transactions are made for each trader and all users make active trades, this will be a growing profit and can provide more returns than promos made.

Below are some Spot and Futures trading fee comparisons for the top Exchanges.

Trading without fees is always temporary on all exchanges. When Bitget was offering it, there was a deadline for that. Although, they might still have it which I don't know.. But what I do know they have now is Smart portfolio bot that automatically trade paired coins for you for free.
