Following our recent Public Alpha Release, we’ve successfully proven our product’s potential and technical viability.
After 164 consecutive weekly updates, we've decided to amplify momentum for the Open Beta and, most importantly, for the upcoming WebDEX Mainnet Launch!
Therefore, all future updates will now be shared more strategically and dynamically, aligned with dedicated marketing initiatives! 🚀

Hydranet - Roadmap Update – 2025 Part II

In the second half of 2025, our focus will revolve around three core pillars:

1. Security
Stress testing, improvements to our EVM Watchtowers, and further hardening of our infrastructure.
We’re also exploring the integration of Lightning Watchtowers developed by Talaia Labs.
With mainnet on the horizon, security continues to be the backbone of everything we build.

2. Lithium
We’re finalizing the remaining features and edge cases to complete the Lithium protocol.
Once this is done, we will proceed with a comprehensive audit to ensure its robustness and long-term resilience.

3. Releases
Open Beta and Mainnet will be completed—alongside the release of several long-anticipated features.
Our priority is to put Hydranet into more hands, delivering a product that’s stable and secure.

We’ve just published a comprehensive update to the Hydranet Tokenomics page

Here’s what’s new:
• Standalone channel rental providers have been removed, as they’re not technically feasible in the near future
• All sections have been shortened and clarified for better readability
• Updated pie chart and new visuals
• Removed outdated elements like the reputation system
• Increased focus on pools, delegation, and the negative fee mechanism
• Clearly defined what to expect at mainnet launch, including the timeline for Titans

August was all about strengthening the Hydranet DEX Beta and laying the groundwork for what’s next.
It’s been a month of behind-the-scenes progress:

We shipped localization, improved confirmation tracking & swap UX, tighter channel state management,
backend & trading upgrades, multi-token & multi-channel support,
instant fund redemption, and several bug fixes and last but not least this release also introduces Lithium 3.1.

We're very excited to share the full list of changes, especially our Orderbook Redesign
and we’re particularly proud to roll out Lithium 3.1, which is included in this update.
