Bitcoin👌 or nothing

I need help, yesterday I tried sending bitcoin from my trust wallet to exchange but the network fee was very low, so I tried to use blue wallet which I have already imported my trust wallet seed phrase to bump the network fee of the transaction to enable the transaction go quick. But from the details of the transaction I noticed that recipients address is different from the initial address I used beginning of the transaction and I don't really know how the recipient address managed to change from the address I used at first. Till this time the transaction is still unconfirmed,  I'm looking for a way to cancel the transaction,  is it possible to cancel unconfirmed transaction?
I tried to see if I could cancel it with electrum wallet but not possible.

The Bitcoin software, network, and concept is called "Bitcoin" with a capitalized "B". Bitcoin currency units are called "bitcoins" with a lowercase "b" -- this is often abbreviated BTC.

Could you post the TXID of both the first as well as the second transcation? That would help.

I think I have seen someone here saying that it's not possible to bump fees for imported wallets (when using Bluewallet) but if you managed to do that, I would imagine you should be able to cancel the transaction as well[1]. Did you by any chance get any messages telling you that you're about to finalize the transaction when you first bumped the fees?

If you are sure that the transaction is not yet confirmed, you can replace the transaction using the same blue wallet with another transaction. You can copy the right address this time and try sending the coin out this time with a much higher fee, which could make it go faster, and the first one will be cancelled.

It's possible; I have done this before with an imported wallet on BlueWallet. I sent a transaction, and it appears that the fee was very low, so I used the bump fee option, and it works. An option like cancelling a transaction was also shown in BlueWallet for my imported wallet.

One thing I can guess is that you might have been face with the clipboard malware which changes the address to scammers address when you copy and paste your address.

I have once imported a trustwallet seed into blue wallet before and it supports bumping of the transaction. But I don’t know if it will show for a pending transaction before importing it, but if there is bump option just do RBF to any other address of yours.

Type the address this time around do not copy it

Your device from which you tried to copy and paste the address is probably infected with some sort of malware. Possibly a clipboard malware or even RAT malware. Could you post the new address you are seeing here?

The worst to happen if you are indeed infected with the clipboard malware. Can you tell what explorer are you using to view the transaction, maybe it just a privacy feature to alter the address there. But if its the common explorer like blockchain and blockchair then it could be a very bad day. Check your device, i know most clipboard malware infected are desktop users particularly windows, androids and ios are rarely to get this malwares but chances are still there.

I tried to see if I could cancel it with electrum wallet but not possible.
As far as I know, trustwallet doesn't flag transactions as RBF and you shouldn't see "bump fee" and "Cancel transaction" on electrum.
I don't think this has changed in the newer versions of trustwallet.

If you are sure that the transaction is not yet confirmed, you can replace the transaction using the same blue wallet with another transaction. You can copy the right address this time and try sending the coin out this time with a much higher fee, which could make it go faster, and the first one will be cancelled.
Bluewallet doesn't allow you to the change the receiving address to any address you want when replacing the transaction with a new one.
If the transaction has been flagged as RBF, bluewallet allows you to bump the fee or cancel transaction.

With bumping the fee, you make the replacement transaction to the same receiving address, but with a higher fee.
With canceling the transaction, you make the replacement transaction to your own address and with a higher fee.

I have once imported a trustwallet seed into blue wallet before and it supports bumping of the transaction. But I don’t know if it will show for a pending transaction before importing it, but if there is bump option just do RBF to any other address of yours.
If you imported your seed phrase in bluewallet and then made a transaction, your transaction was RBF enabled.
If you make a transaction using trustwallet and then import your seed phrase in bluewallet, your transaction wouldn't be RBF enabled. There is no way to enable RBF after signing the transaction.

I have a question for you which may be relevant, did you make the deposit to an exchange's address?

And you are saying that you see different destinations so I wonder, the actual sender is anywhere in the middle or just completely replaced and yours to an unknown address?

The only way to have a different receiving address using current standard wallets such as electrum is when you are canceling a transaction, if the seed phrase has generated change addresses, this new one you are seeing could be your own change address, but it seems you are confused yourself as what you did exactly.

This is electrum android, the one with yellow address on the left is me trying to cancel a TX, which is sending to one of my change addresses that show with yellow color, the other one on the right is me trying to bump the fee by selecting decrease payment which is sending to the same address.

There's not really a good reason the destination address would get switched unless you got malware or something.  Maybe just show us the transaction details so we can see everything that happened.  As long as posting that stuff won't mess with your privacy too much.

Pretty bad the transaction being made from TrustWallet is not flagged with RBF and I don't think you can cancel this transaction even if you switch to other wallets like Electrum.

How much fee did you bump?
You don't have any choice but to wait for the transactions drops out from the network. It takes two weeks I guess and let's hope the network becomes more congested and push the transaction fees become higher because if not the bump transaction might be confirmed later.

The only way to have a different receiving address using current standard wallets such as electrum is when you are canceling a transaction,
We have Sparrow which allows using any receiving address you want in the replacement transaction, if the original transaction has been flagged as RBF.

Pretty bad the transaction being made from TrustWallet is not flagged with RBF and I don't think you can cancel this transaction even if you switch to other wallets like Electrum.
The solution is to build the raw transaction sending the fund to any address you want and broadcast it.

If you are running your own node, you can easily broadcast such transaction.
If you don't run your own node, you should try different servers on electrum or use different transaction broadcasters until one of them successfully broadcast your replacement transaction.

There are many nodes that have enabled full RBF and will accept the replacement transaction even if the original one has not been flagged as RBF. Therefore, there's a good chance that the replacement transaction is included in the blockchain.

-snip- Till this time the transaction is still unconfirmed,  I'm looking for a way to cancel the transaction,  is it possible to cancel unconfirmed transaction?
I tried to see if I could cancel it with electrum wallet but not possible.
How low is the transaction fee, exactly?

Use Electrum for this;
Because your only chance here is if it'll get dropped from the majority of the node's mempool together with the selected server's mempool.
With that, it'll be displayed as "local" which you can remove manually in the right-click menu.

That'll only happen if the txn's fee rate is actually "very low" and the average mempool size became high.

Once that happen, immediately remove it and spend the same input to the correct address or your own address and set a generous transaction fee that can get mined right in the next block.
Time is crucial because once it gets reaccepted by non-fullbrf nodes that dropped it due to decreasing average mempool size, your new transaction might not propagate to reach the miners.

But I think this is a communicated reasons which I don't understand. Since  the occurrence of this issue their have not been any transaction history on my trust wallet. My balance on trust wallet still intact,  but if I go through the trust wallet check explorer I can see the details of the transaction.  And I noticed not quite long that the transaction have been confirmed but my balance on trust wallet is still intact which I tried to send the bitcoin to the suppose address I wanted to send it to and it went through.

Am so happy and can't explain how I didn't managed to lose the bitcoin will all complication.

It sounds like you need to stop using "Trust wallet" and start using a wallet that doesn't do unexplainable things. And since you've copied your seed phrase into 3 different wallets already, it's probably better to create a new wallet and move your funds there.

----
If you can see the transaction on block explorers and that's confirmed, it means that the transaction has been made.
If trustwallet doesn't display the transaction, it means that trustwallet is not synced or there's bug causing the issue.

I am not sure I am understating you correctly. Are you saying the transaction you see on block explorer has been made to the correct address?

Anyways, avoid using trustwallet. It's close source and there is no way to know how the keys are generated.
And as suggested by LoyceV above, create a new wallet and move all your fund to that.

I guess I just paid attention to the fact that you were using Trustwallet. How did you even manage to bump the fees the first time if your transaction didn't have RBF enabled? Am I missing something?

Yeah right, he said he imported the seed phrase to the blue wallet but how did he bump the fee?
It seems that he imported a different backup seed instead of the TrustWallet backup seed.

I will leave the transaction I.d for privacy reasons.

It's weird right? Without the transaction ID of the first transaction made from TrustWallet and bump transaction from Blue Wallet make us more confused because TrustWallet does not support RBF.

This is of course just a wild guess, but what I could imagine is that the transaction was simply dropped and therefore does not appear anywhere.
But if that's the case I don't think he should be able to find any data on the transaction via the transaction ID, should he?

Admittedly, I have never had a dropped transaction with my Bitcoins myself.
