I've never tried to convince anyone. The way I do it is I avoid starting a conversation about bitcoin and from time to time someone mentions something related to bitcoin, like ask what do I think about new KYC rules for transactions, cash limits, mining limits in countries that struggle with energy crisis... Then we start talking about bitcoin and I just say that I support it, believe in it and tell them why. I don't try to convince them, I don't tell them to buy bitcoin. If they want to do it it's their choice and they usually don't try to argue with me.
I have 0 problems with people who don't use bitcoin, but I openly tell them that I do if they ask me about it.

I have 0 problems with people who don't use bitcoin, but I openly tell them that I do if they ask me about it.

In my early years in Bitcoin (around 2014), I was very excited to share my newly found knowledge.  So I talked about Bitcoin to my friends and told them about it.  It was a disappointing story because they all think that Bitcoin is a scam since they are looking for government acceptance like certification or whatever. Bitcoin wasn't that established that year and was used as bait to scam people.  I only told them that it was the company that exploited Bitcoin that did scam but not Bitcoin itself since Bitcoin has no central authority and any company that claims they are affiliated with Bitcoin is a fraud.

It was really a disappointing experience but I do not get mad at people who reject Bitcoin because they have their reason not to believe with Bitcoin during that time.  I just told myself that one day when Bitcoin is recognized by the government they will regret their decision.  That happened in the year 2017 when our government acknowledged Bitcoin as mode of payment and these people who ignored the information I told them came asking me about Bitcoin and how they can take advantage of the opportunity it offers.

Pretty much self explanatory.  How do you do it?

Here is my way.  I mostly pushed away and pulled out of relationships with people who seem to stand against my beliefs.  Instead of convincing them I just moved on.  I found that a lot of those who do not believe in my choice of investment and think I will fail are the same people who never listen.  Know it alls who rather put you down and disregard your feelings with no logical reasoning.  Sometimes it feels like they envy you or some thing.

I believe this is a healthy way of handling your environment.  Keep negativity outside your bubble.  Only keep close to you people who give you the ambition and optimism to continue.  Not sure how many of you believe in this.  But manifesting negativity has always brought negative outcome in my life.  Surrounding myself by positive thoughts and positive people has brought a strong source of light all the time.

In the first place, you have no obligation to share the bitcoin with them, because even if you share it with them without their consent, I am pretty sure some of them will still blame you; the one who will be released in the end is still you.

So just believe what you believe in Bitcoin or cryptocurrency. Because of what I do, only my close friends and partner really understand what I do. I know that, until now, many of the things I do that I know are still not believed to be true, and I don't care about that.

BIG WINNER!

I only discussed Bitcoin with folks who believe that Bitcoin exists to avoid unnecessary argument, Bitcoin has already advertised itself, the only people that does not know much about Bitcoin is rural dwellers who do not have a smartphone and do without internet service, people who usually make use of the internet have gotten series of information about Bitcoin, something I just feel maybe they are not interested that's why they are giving it deaf ear, for those who do not believe in Bitcoin that's is around me, I don't have any problem with them being around because I know for sure that am entitled to my decision, I already know how reliable bitcoin is, as I can't change their stands that's how they can't change mine too.

I would always think that they weren't the ones feeding me and my family, so I would stop talking or keep my distance from them as it is very toxic. If they can't understand what you are doing or can't support you then it is better to stay away from those kinds of people. Always think that if your investment in Bitcoin is successful and you make a lot of money for sure those people will congratulate you and guess what they will ask money from you. Leave them as you can't gain any positive things from them.

Navigating skepticism about my crypto choices is like walking a path not everyone sees. I stay true to my belief, share the knowledge, and connect with fellow crypto enthusiasts who understand the journey, making the challenge a bit easier to handle.

Let me see if I'm understanding correctly: you're saying that if someone doesn't agree with your ideas/beliefs then you simply pretty much exclude from your life? If that is the case, well, it's kind of extreme, don't you think? You can express your ideas with your friends, they have all the rights to decide whether they wan't to agree or not with you.

I understand; you offered Bitcoin insights before everyone was skeptical. I find it amusing that people need government approval to trust new ideas. Correct - exploitative businesses scammed, not Bitcoin. Bitcoin cant be a scam alone because its decentralized.

The irony is rich, isnt it? After government approval, everyone agrees. Associating ideologies with official stamps. Your early support was right when the government accepted Bitcoin in 2017. This is outdated thinking stopping people from realizing new technology's potential until its widely embraced.

Your experience teaches vision and patience. Innovative ideas are frustrating to reject. You also demonstrate that most people trail behind geniuses. People who rejected your advise in 2017 later sought it are proof. Revolutionary ideas gain popularity slowly in this situation. You're influencing how people view and use disruptive tech like Bitcoin.

the truth is that, if you like invest in bitcoin or not, people will always talk at you, if no one is not discouraging you or making you look like what you are doing will not yield positive result, chances are that you are heading in the wrong direction. For me, as long as I believe in what I am doing and I am very much convinced of the reason for my decision, I don't really give much attention to any external contribution as they will not see things in the angle I am seeing it and so there judgement is certainly not going to make any difference anyways.

The people you should get advice from regarding your investment in bitcoin should be individual already in the field that are more experienced than you as they might be in the best position to guide you in the right direction from the experiences they have gathered.

In my personal case, time has proven that I was right (so far), so those not believing me have a problem because they must agree that they were blinded by their egos or simply keep thinking that I was simply a freak that was lucky. In the second case, I don't think it will be easy for them to bear the cognitive dissonances that they must suffer when their inner voice tell them that if they listened to the freak now they'd have made some money (because for all of them this finalist perspective is the only one that worries them, they don't care about data protection or philosophy of economics, while they keep paying every single current expense with credit card like idiots).

So, how do I cope with them? I try to avoid the topic when I talk to them and, with some, I stopped talking. Anyway, I have to tell that the people I shared with my interest in Bitcoin are just a few: not the best to contribute to the dissemination of Bitcoin (I am satisfied with the work I do here in the forum in that regard), but experience has proven me that it is the best strategy for my own peace of mind in my everyday life.
