Have you been in such situations before? I foremost, asked this question because I haven't done this before. Today I was just doing nothing but sitting down in the sitting room watching TV, but I wasn't comfortable. Then I fund my betting account (hoping to have fun) with $10 but, unfortunately for me, I lost the whole money without winning just a dime. It was not the first time for me to lose money on gambling (but I am not a regular gambler), then I fund another $10, so finally, finally, I still lost the other money I deposited, and I was like asking myself how? When did I even fund another money in this account? why I am surprised is because I haven't funded into my betting account twise in a day after losing done money, so am I becoming an addict? No.
Depends on how severe you do make out those deposits. Making those things in a single day on a month or something that once in a blue moon then it isnt something solid that we could really say
that you are already addicted but better not to make yourself that confident yet these are the early signs that you are really that impulsive and cant make out such control on doing gambling.
There are really moments or times on which there's that urge on playing gambling and there are really moments which our ego do really make out some kind of playing or doesnt really get
satisfied on the time that we do lose money and this is why it would really be that resulting into further deposits which this is one of the earliest behavior on which a certain
gambling addict have, take control of it if you dont like to mess up.

No, you are not addicted yet. But if you continue to exceed your gambling limit or budget consecutively,  then it will call for concern.  Almost every gambler at one point or the other has faced this issue before.  Whether you are gambling for the money or just for fun, stick to your budget and time limit.  If you do not regulate your gambling habit, it will grow into an addiction.

I agree with you if he didn't regulate is gambling habit it will grow into an addiction, but since the OP realised immediately after recharging is account two times that means he is no addicted, but I will advise you to set a target time for your gambling for you not to be addicted and also your gambling should be considered as a fun not for money if not it will grow to that instead, because when you lose your money you will like to get it back and that is how you keep involving yourself gradually till you are addicted.

Nah, relax! You're thinking so much about addiction. You were just frustrated for not getting anything for the amount you funded your account. Addiction is far more severe than that because it is the urge that's pushing you to do gambling and that's even before you started gambling.
I guess a lot of casual gamblers have done the same thing at some certain point, especially when you found yourself with nothing to do. Addicted gamblers would usually drain out their bank account without any hesitation.

I wouldn't conclude that you are becoming an addict because it is your first time but I can say you are chasing your lose. The reason I won't consider you an addict is that addict gamble whether they are losing or not, in other words it is not only when they are chasing loses that they gamble but they just can't do without gambling.

However, if you consistently have this kind of chasing attitude then you may as well enter into such addiction even when you never know because it is such factor that gets someone to be addicted.

Just twice you funded your account and you already start feeling like an addicted gambler. When I started gambling my first four games on my bet slip played. I started playing more often to win.But the next 5 bets in a row lost. Nevertheless I continued gambling but within this period I felt like giving up. Before I could realize my next game played that was when I started getting more interested in gambling. Before you can get addicted is when you have more interested in winning even if you’ve been having some loss. That consistency to win back your lost money is what can actually lead to addiction.

It doesn't necessarily mean an addiction but the temptation to win back your lost money which is very common in the gene of the human system and also it could possibly lead to addiction if you don't put yourself a brake like what you did after the second deposit and realized that you did something that you aren't supposed.

No.

Considering the situation you mentioned it wouldn't be correct to say that you are addicted to gambling if you experience this situation only once but if this situation repeats constantly it is possible to easily say that you are addicted to gambling. When this situation occurs once, it may be due to momentary psychology or boredom but as I mentioned if it continues frequently it will be possible to say that it is a gambling addiction.

When I think about the time when I was addicted to gambling, I remember that the days when I deposited money into my account over and over again were actually somewhat involuntary just to win back the money I had lost. As I mentioned, if this feeling occurs frequently and you continue to gamble by frequently transferring money to your account it will undoubtedly be possible to say that you are a gambling addict but if it is a one-time thing it isn't right to say that you are a gambling addict.

OP, you are very far from addiction because you are not a regular gambler and you gamble responsible, and that is why you are worried that you funded your wallet twice which hasn't happened before like you said. People that are addicts are people that gamble often and even when they don't have money to gamble, they go to the extend of borrowing money to gamble or lying to get money that they will use to chase their loss. I will only say that you were enjoying the game and you wanted the entertainment to last for a while that was why you funded your gambling wallet the second time.

I don't think you are becoming addicted, you play because you are bored not because you have an urge that is out of control, you are still good and okay but if your deposits keep adding up and you are spending more time to the point that this is all you do then yes you are on your way to addiction and it's only a matter of time before you just wake up that you are deep into it.

Gambling addiction has denial attached to it, you seldom can find a guy who is a gambler who will admit that he is a gambling addict, they will keep denying it and will defend their addiction telling people that they are also winning and recovering their losses when in fact their losses are so huge that they are already using and losing their savings.

I think doing this once a day to lose only 20 dollars is not that huge. Yeah it may be called mini addiction but considering side effects you only spend couple of minutes to feel better and deposited low amounts to your account. I think people should eventually realize gambling is for fun unless you are professional so you should know and accept you are gambling to decrease your boredom. I personally only bet/gamble to make football matches more enjoyable to watch (as I bet for one side etc).

Maybe not for you, but that's just a defense against being considered an addict. Gambling addiction is not always aggressive, it usually has an uncertain time span, this can be the first step towards addiction. Just from your activities, after you lose once and still feel the need to make another deposit, it means that there is already an addiction/addiction factor without you realizing it or not, that's a fact. Try to be a little productive in your spare time by gardening, farming, or just watering the plants in front of the house. The point is, come back to yourself and commit to not always wasting your free time gambling, because if you keep wasting it the next day it means you are already in the phase......

Indeed, there is nothing wrong with you, after all it is your money, it's just that self-control needs to be trained, remember this is not advice but based on experience to remind each other, especially me personally.

Not yet but if you keep doing this, it will lead to that situation. Now, you better think about what is good for you and what will be the impact of being alone...If I were you, as early as possible you must know how to control your gambling habit, don't wait to fall into addiction. Of course, you can still gamble as it was not harmful to us but be sure that you set limits. What goes wrong is if we gamble too much and compromise our finances but if we are still able to manage it, well, it is just fun and entertainment.

No.
Unless this happens often to you I would not worry too much, a person can have a few moments in which they are not thinking clearly and take some bad decisions, and losing 20 dollars in a single day is probably one of the smallest mistakes I have ever seen someone committing when they gamble, so while it is important to remain on guard against any sign that could indicate that you are losing control of yourself when you gamble, it would be a mistake to exaggerate and blow things out of proportion.

If you weren't comfortable sitting, then why not try to lay down? But I think what you really mean is you are not yet contented on watching TV. Well that was true sometimes because there are commercials in between, and then the shows in it are most of the times in repeat only. This is why I don't watch TV anymore.

I am sorry for me to say this but your suspicions could be right, that you are going on that path you are being afraid of. Good thing that you realized it early. I hope you already know if what you can do to return on the right path again. That's it, just forget your losses that time, and try to return on your comfort bets. Also accept if you lose, so that you won't ever plan on avenging it.

This fies not mean you are an addict or becoming one. You are just bored and needed something to keep you busy. It happens and you are not alone in that. Not winning any money from the games does not mean anything at all.

The important question is: did you funded what you cannot afford to loose? Was it painful to you loosing that much? If the answer is yes, then you need to work on yourself but if the answer is no, then there is no problem. Just make sure you don't make it a habit of funding when you loose and so one else you will have your budget over stretched

feeling you are experiencing is one of the early signs of a gambling addiction and to be honest, I have experienced this when I almost became a crazy gambler betting on poker and roulette games. I felt my mind was not calm and restless, but when I went to gamble, my heart comfortable and after losing I felt sorry for not accepting it and while sleeping I dreamed that I was betting on getting a big win.

If you experience this, it would be better for you to immediately look for alternative outlets so as not to indulge too deeply in your initial passion for addiction before things get worse. remember mate, gambling will never give you winnings unless you have lost all your money and the winnings will not be equivalent to your losses. I hope you can understand my advice slowly.

Your words sound like regret after knowing the facts that happened after you funded your betting account. Incidents like this happen very often, in fact someone has experienced the same incident over and over again more than twice. Aren't there only two possibilities in gambling, if you don't win, you definitely lose.
I don't want to guess or speculate about your actions in funding your betting account more than once, the motivation of wanting to win is certainly behind these actions. No one knows for sure the final result, if you are not ready to accept defeat, never try to fund a betting account.

This could be the start if you think differently, but if you really want just to have fun then probably this is part of that having fun.
Losing that small money might not be a big deal to many, but this is where addiction begins where the small things are being disregarded until it get worst.
Don't gamble without setting your limit regardless of your purpose because this will remind you to stay responsible and don't over spend.

i]how? When did I even fund another money in this account?[/I] why I am surprised is because I haven't funded into my betting account twise in a day after losing done money, so am I becoming an addict? No.
Yes you are becoming a gambling addict. That is an early sign and I kid you not. In the gambling community we call it chasing losses. One of the first things you did wrong was to gamble at a time you didn't allocate for it. Started without any plan. You were idle or bored and wanted to kill some time. You see, no strategy, no budget in place. While it is true that you may have used money you could afford to lose but you chased your loss.

A popular song lyrics goes thus- check yourself before you reck yourself.
