It is true that some new comers enter the market with over confidence and take position with high leverage without thoroughly analyzing the market. Regrettably, some even don't implement stop-loss measures, which makes their account vulnerable to liquidity issues, in case market moves unfavorably against their trading position. It is always advisable for new comers to acquire understanding of fundamentals principles, technical analysis tools and essential risk and money management skills before entering  into cryptocurrencies market which is very volatile and high risk.

I don't believe that it is because of the their confidence that prompt them to actually make such decision, I feel its the gambling spirit that rides in them as I know this because every trader is somehow related to a gambler and they like to take the risk on every investment choices as the risk is what brings the profits but since it's a two sided affair losses sometimes might be the result of this risk investment but it's quite normal as their are already used to the system.

Maybe one of the reasons is because of the hype and also the massive news about these altcoins so that traders are sure that these coins will skyrocket. Because what has happened before is that they may have had extraordinary experiences with the benefits of trading altcoins like that. That will depend on each trader as learning from our mistakes is not something automatic, you need to sit down and think about what went wrong and why this happened, and only those that go through that process of introspection can correct their previous behaviors and change their ways.
