Sport betting the new oil money for Nigerian youth

Sport betting is now the new quick money making venture in Nigeria from  data of the national lottery trust fund  it's revealed that over 65 million Nigerians actively engage on sport betting spending $975m on online betting daily funny as it sounds Nigeria's now see sport betting as a lucrative and an alternative business to make profits for themselves, betting as we know has more disadvantages compared to it's advantages  it can easily make someone go broke than making you rich, and a country like Nigeria whose population is 200 million and 65 million of it's citizens are into this new found fastest way to either broke or becoming rich is becoming alarming for us as a nation if we don't look for a way to curb this lingering menace it will go beyond this and before we say jack the country must have been in a sorry state of no return, our government should do better in creating more awareness of the dangers of sport betting and also create, educate and give the youths skill to stay off idleness,  more also the number of betting platforms be reduced for us to curb this menace.
