Mehn the congestion is really much these days. And the painful part is thaat i have been trying to use this via btc free accelerator and i found out that the number of persons using it is quite massive. So, it is difficult to take part in it, i guess people are so fast that they could jump in on the free accelerator in less than a minute. The best thing is to used the paid services but the amount of charges there is high and its more that the transaction fee i used to make a transaction.

My transaction of 6 days old finally go through yesterday. I bin don bump the transaction to 85 sat/vb but e still no dey enough for a miner to pick am, so I bin just leave am make mempool drop am after 14 days. Yesterday, I just say make I try am again, naso I come see "accelerating transaction", I quickly rush go check my wallet, my transaction don change to 1 confirmation, joy bin wan kee me. So like this, ViaBTC free accelerator don dey work again, if you get stuck transaction(s) for mempool, just keep trying, you fit dey successful.

I think ViaBTC has ended its free acceleration, the promotion is possibly over. I tried accessing it today and the mesage was kind of clear. I will attach it below for your consumption

I believe a lot of people might still cast their hope on this service, that's where my point comes handy, they tried very well during their active promotion period, and I believe that what has a beginning surely has an end. I suggest at this moment @Charles-Tim that you investigate this issue and confirm it yourself. If it's true you can either lock this thread or update the information accordingly to keep everyone in the know.

Do not be deceived, the accelerator is not free like people are thinking. If the mempool is not congested is only the time you can enjoy the accelerator when it is not needed, but when the mempool becomes congested, you will be disappointed by the accelerator.

I wanted to use the accelerator since many days ago after bitcoin halving but I will always not be able to submit the txid on time. If I am able to submit the txid on time, it would displayed that the captcha is not correct. I tried it just now and several times before but the same incorrect captcha. I am certain that the captcha is correctly solved, bit it will displayed as incorrect.

Once 5 seconds is over in every hour, you will not be able to use the free accelerator again until the next hour but you will see this displayed by the accelerator:

Your free accelerator quota has run out, please choose the paid service if you need acceleration.

Either you will not be able to solve the captcha and wait for the next hour again and again, but if you are able to about to submit the txid, it will dispay captcha not correctly solved when I am certain that I solved it correctly again and again.

During congestion people will always complain about people that are using bots which are faster to submit txids before people that are submitting it manually on their own. But who knows if it is the site that is manipulating. Few weeks or months ago, you can use free accelerator on the site without registration, but which is no more possible. If you want to use free accelerator on the site, you have to register.

When I saw that registration is need, I was thinking it was done to make people not to be able to use bot on the site but when mempool has been congested lately, I saw that I was very wrong. The site is now displaying to people to use the paid accelerator and the free accelerator is not acceptable. They are just using the free accelerator to lure people to use their paid accelerator. We should not be deceived by ViaBTC free accelerator.

I noticed this the last time when I was about using the accelerator. It was directing me to the oid service and I got tire so I left it removed the link from my browser. Thanks you for this clear information. At least with this we will be guided. I know one the guy that wanted die out inside this Viabtc accelerator, and now he can rest. Although the free Viabtc accelerator was helpful, I also used it once at the first time when the bitcoin network was congested last year.

Since my last encounter with ViaBTC during the last mempool congestion I've never gone back to use it. Used to display 100 free tnx per hour before the last congestion if I remember correctly now they're just promoting the paid version. No priority to the free version. Shame...

I also tried it and it worked.

What led to the error was that I was clicking on the captcha after the next hour began without refreshing the accelerator.
