Honestly speaking though it work for me too, even when clicking the "refresh profile" too.
I'm not so sure what's the look of it, but this is how it shows to me

Same here the site works to me he might be accessing the wrong URL or the bpip.com or maybe the browser(Tor browser?) itself I'm using chrome browser it also works on firefox browser.

Guess what? It didn’t even occur to me that it was the creator, or, shall I say, I never even knew who was behind the Bpip idea in the first place until now, as I have been using it over the year without realising this.

It worked fine on my end as well -- firefox with vpn on

Does the problem persist with a different browser, on a different device and/or internet connection? If you have a VPN enabled, playing with servers and disabling might help as well.

Even without vpn everything works perfectly. probably the url of vod was not correct and that was why the error message was sent to him and I believe by now he has ratified the problem and have access to the to the site. And there are sometimes network also caused such error message to occur. If the network is not too strong or bad you can't visit some site because they used strong network to browse. I have not experienced BPIP site is down in a day. When I browse it, it works fine move smoothly.

He was back yesterday to pick up where he left off with his feud with OgNasty, just like the last time he returned.  Don't know if Vod is back for good, but I hope so (drama about alleged misuse of forum funds aside).  He was a very positive influence on the forum for years, especially in the lending section and other places where scammers tend to lurk.

BPIP is working just fine for me, but that was probably just a brain fart on Vod's part.  You're allowed a few of those, Vod.

Okay then you can try this to see if it will open for you  https://bpip.org/Profile?p=Vod and also change the browser too. I normally use Google Chrome to check it and it is working fine from my end. I just checked your profile and everything is intact. You can check the internet protocol and the IP address or you can change device to check it again. Everyone here has said it is working from their sides and it is only you having the problem then the issue is from your site. I wish you good navigation time in the forum.

The bpip was at the correct level when I entered.  Maybe it is normal to have error temporarily due to network problem for some time. Such problems are sometimes encountered on the Bitcointalk forum.
I think it's normal to encounter such problems, maybe due to development work or network problems.

Nothing happened when I accessed the bpip.org site, even when I refreshed my profile.
The only difference before and after refreshing the profile is the change in Last Parsed in the general information section of my profile ID.



The short sentence is that there was no 500 error on my part.

 If after trying the link at @Mate sent you and you still have issues, probably you can wait a few minutes then try again. Either the issue is from your browser or something is just acting up because mine works perfectly fine.

I also have bpip running very smoothly here. your issue may be caused by a browser cache or cookie issue, a network connection issue, or a browser extension issue. So you can check them and reset these things. This problem seems to be only from your side. Because I read the comments here I realized no one else is having the same problem, including me.

They should be able to look in the log and see what exact collection of variables leads to the error.

It's functioning fine from my end boss man, i have full access from my screen and nothing changes.
Maybe I will say just take some days to refresh yourself about the whole system maybe you will understand if there are changes that was implement during absent, it's always like this when you don't regularly makes use of some tools you been using for long.

The site is just lazy, takes after its owners... slow to get up in the morning. Seriously though, the only 500 errors I see in the logs are from bots/crawlers. So not sure what to make of that.

BPIP was never too fast for me. Sometimes it takes over a minute to end the loading page for me. Sometimes I can't access the website, and I need to refresh the page a couple of times to access it. I thought it was my ISP or maybe it's happened to me only. Sometimes BPIP extension does not work for me either. Sometimes it shows incorrect data (Probably because of the scrapper blocking issues).

I can't remember if I ever experienced any issues related to not being able to load BPIP.org. It works every time. Then again, the site's loading times were never the fastest with or without a VPN. It always needed a few seconds to start displaying the content, so I have gotten used to it being that way.

Lolz. I don't think they borrow or tap the WiFi / internet from nearby village or neighborhood but I am suspecting that the network in the locality is not too good from the network providers so I will advise them to switch another network providers if there is any other ones available there. Just like these day in my locality, every early morning my default network would disturbed so I have to switch to the alternative network and used it.

And also there are sometimes you can change the G to the particular network speed at the time. Whenever the network is slow in browsing then you can change the network to either 2G, 3G, and 4G because there are some places you will go that, you can't use strong network like 3G/4G but you can only used 2G which is the lowest network speed but it works well in those places.

Thanks buddy.  I had to take time off, as I couldn't understand why Theymos trusted OGNasty.  I believed Theymos was honest, I could see multiple thefts and collateral scams going on, and he did nothing but encourage people to trust the scammer.

It wasn't until Theymos announced he had embezzled community funds to reward a thief that I understood my original feelings were correct.   Now I want to be here, surrounded by the honest people trying to make bitcoin work, when Theymos loses control of the form and (eventually) goes to prison.   He has a lot of money to delay legal proceeding and bribe officials, but it's a fairly open and shut case.    I'm also enjoying watching OG squirm.  

Anyway, BPIP shows a 500 error (for me) when it appears the site has been unloaded in IIS and restarts.   Once IIS is running, the site is fast and responsive.

Seriously though, the only 500 errors I see in the logs are from bots/crawlers. So not sure what to make of that.

Next time it happens I'll send you the exact date/time and my IP. 

How do you know they are bots?  I torrent, so I use a VPN; would that cause it?

It's also true that I do not use a faster internet connection. But most other website works for me. I get a special speed from my ISP for specific websites like YouTube and Facebook. Here, we call it BDIX speed. I converted the BDIX speed into Raw speed with some tools to get fast internet. Sometimes, it works, and sometimes, it doesn't. But we all agree that BPIP could be faster than how it's loaded now.
