Niger and Nigeria is not the same country, if OP wrote Niger and what he meant is Nigeria then he is wrong, Niger is a whole different country not Nigeria.

You misunderstood OP he actually meant Niger state which is part of the 36 state in Nigeria, located in the central region of the country it is the state that OP is actually referring and not the Niger Republic we know as a country. OP seems to be close to the government or the state politicians and so far he has been using that influence well. I also learnt that the Governor is more of a youth and that’s why I think he is looking into the possibility of this.

This will be a very good turn of events in Nigeria if the news is true. But I still wonder how the governor would do this since it would amount to a conflict of interest between the state government and CBN. As we all know, the CBN has banned all banks and financial institutions from associating with crypto dealing or anyone dealing with it. Perhaps this new CBN government would do the right thing this time.

After that February 2021 ban I think the government last year as actually relaxes the laws concerning cryptocurrency, just that they don’t fully support it yet

Let's establish the fact that it's never the Nigerian Government (the central government) that issued the ban directive, but the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN). This is why it has always been partial, they have never had total authority over people but the banks and the financial institutions they regulate. Also, the law was years before the 2021 saga, they only reminded everyone and tried to enforce it.

Nevertheless, at that time, it bit so hard as they made it look like it was total. But for the smartness of people through P2P initiatives and others, which is coupled with the fact that even the banks they regulate didn't like what they did, then banks looked away in most cases and that is what is helping us till now. Not that CBN relaxes it, No, if they did, they will convey it officially. Also for the prominent people in the government, including the ex-VP supporting it by their actions and speeches, I believe this caused the CBN itself to look away as well even as the unwillingness of commercial banks themselves helps.

Congratulations on this exciting update! I'm thrilled to hear that your efforts have finally yielded a response from the Niger State government regarding your proposal to introduce Bitcoin technology in the secondary school curriculum. While your physical absence from the meeting is unfortunate, the fact that you entrusted your team members to represent you demonstrates your strong leadership and trust in their capabilities.

Your initiative serves as an inspiration to others advocating for the adoption of innovative technologies like Bitcoin. Your perseverance and dedication have opened doors for this important conversation to take place, paving the way for potential positive change not only in the Niger State but potentially across the nation. I eagerly await further updates as your proposal progresses through the government's evaluation process.

This is not new to me because in my previous school, there was already a course offered on blockchain technology. The only difference is that it was in college, not in high school. I'm not sure if other schools here also offer blockchain courses in high school, but as far as I know, there aren't any yet.
Well, I commend your dedication and persistence in pushing this project. This will lead to successful adoption in the educational system. This pioneering initiative has the potential to empower future generations with valuable knowledge and skills, positioning them for success in the ever-evolving digital world. Some may consider it a small step, but for me, it is a significant step towards a big change. You've taken the step, and I hope you'll soon see the light at the end of the tunnel. Good luck.

I think I read about your first post which you said that the governor of the state is a young governor and he wants to engage the state with bitcoin and new technology if am not mistaken.  Congratulations to this news , I think this is the beginning of bitcoin circulation and it will go round the region in the future.  Now the people residing in the state can come out fully to accept Bitcoin in their business without any fear of the government intimidating anyone .
