No, I don't think in psychic someone can accurately predict the results of what will come out in a betting game whether in dreams or using divination tools because if that is the case, then psychics will rule the betting platform and there will be players asking psychic to predict for them.
Psychics are fortune tellers their predictions are not 100% correct, in fact, I seldom read that a psychic wins a lottery its very rare, it is just circumstances that it happens, psychic are also regular people who bet they may hit some of the numbers but I doubt if they can predict all the numbers, they are just like us when it comes to gambling.

Why do I have the feeling that this story is fake/made up.
The guy, who bought the lottery tickets and won the jackpot probably made up this story about "the dreams" of his employee.

No, I don't believe in "psychic" betting. At the end of the day, everything is about luck. Hayati Kucukkoylu was lucky and Paul the Octopus was lucky as well(even though Paul the Octopus was lucky several times ).
Thinking that some animals have the supernatural power to predict the outcome of sports events is simply dumb and delusional.

No one can really tell if the story he said is true. But we all know that there are dreams that do really come true. The dream we never expected to happen and suddenly you felt familiar with the scene as you have already seen it in your dream. This may be the same, there are some people who are capable of remembering their dreams even after waking up, some kind of people who have a strong belief in the power of dreams.

Sometimes that would happen but most of the time our dream will not came into reality especially if we expect a huge result because in our dream we earn a lot of money. But turns out it didn't came the same way and we lose our money. Its just they are just so lucky at that time they won and he just relate it into his dreams that's why many got curious to know if some physic or other superstitious belief on betting will actually work. But scientifically there's no basis on all of this since as said everything came as random that's why we are not sure on gambling. But nothing wrong if we believe on this since if they are comfortable with that then its truly fine nothing will bother them for doing what they think is right for them.

I didn't think about it too seriously because I had never had any dreams about betting. But if one day I have a dream like that, I may immediately buy it because it is a clue for me to be able to win a lot of money.

Yes, those are supernatural things that we will never understand because they are beyond our brains and reason. But some people can really achieve that dream and they place bets where they can end up winning a lot of money. It seems absurd but it really happened so we can only believe it. Often things that don't make sense can happen without us being able to think about them.

I will say it may be a coincidence, but there are also bad gambling news on the media. If you read news very well, you will read about the bad sides too. There are some that were taken to this forum and there were some I have read on the news. This year, I have read a student in my country that killed himself because he used his school fee money to gamble and lose. I do not think this was more 5 months ago.

There are some people that were living a good and comfortable life before, but gambling changed it and they regret. It is important not to take the wrong step while gambling, we should just gamble with the amount of money that we can afford to lose and also not believing in all these spirituality that can cause us more harm than good.

I think that coincidence is the dominant factor here. Sometimes, the bet will win. Sometimes, the bet will lose. If you link all of these kinds of bets and do the math, and have someone else make a normal informed/uninformed bet, then the data will show that psychic bets are nothing more than a superstition...

Nah, I'm more into racking up wins on the regular rather than banking on a one-time jackpot. Skills are my own tool for securing those victories. If I ever think about trusting in a psychic, it'd probably be for a lottery shot. But let's be realistic, it's all just wishful thinking. Being too grounded in reality when it comes to gambling and leaning on skill-based games makes more sense to me.

I will only believe it if a self-proclaimed psychic comes forward and accurately predicts the winning numbers on the lotto, sometimes we dream of numbers but that does not mean that a guy or anyone is a psychic.
Psychic precognition comes when he least expects it but he cannot deliberately predict what's coming out tomorrow, I have not known or even the whole known a psychic who can manifest his prediction to be the winning numbers in whatever games, and psychics never use their gift to make money or they will lose their power, that is a common belief, that it comes from above and it should not be used for making money in gambling.

Ask me this question some really far years back, my response would have been No, that I don't believe in such things as psychic betting, predictions or whatever.

But I have a different opinion today due to my very own personal experience, there was a time when I was serving someone, I was a sales boy for him, a lunatic(mad man) walked into our business place and handed a piece of paper containing some written numbers on it, to my boss and told my boss that tomorrow, he would come and collect his own part of the money, and then walked away immediately.
My boss was confused, I was little then so i did not understand much, my boss asked someone close there and he was told it's a lotto number, that he should go and play it, my boss (not being a gambler and detested it) hissed and threw the piece of paper away, someone else picked it and played the numbers there, and by the next day, the news in the whole street was that, he won a huge amount of money, my boss could not believe it, he so very moody the whole of that day even for about a whole week.

So for me, I personally believe that this psychic betting is really, though not very common to come across such opportunities, but it's sure as real as heaven and hell.

For me I think all these will just be placed under the state mere coincidence and nothing more because they are also lots of times that the same octopus might predicted wrongly and if it's all psychic predictions then what would you call the wrong predictions all are you telling me that for every time that the so called psychic octopus predicted are all correct because I would like to beg the differ and believe it's all coincidence.

Gambling can't be predicted correctly at all time, even the psychic can't maintain consistent winning. That's why believing in such things won't be reasonable. A responsible gambler is meant to possess his personal skill. Which works in yielding him wins. Those spirituality aspect of prediction, can work maybe twice. And stops. I'm with you there. But the mind needs patterns; it's built to look for order in chaos. People winning by going with someone else's guess is chance and not a good sign for future success. A dangerous fallacy results from this pattern-seeking behaviour: thinking there is a winning recipe when there is none. It's very important to see this as a mental trick

That being said, you're right again about your second point. It's not a good idea to think that God or something supernatural is involved in gambling. It's more of a mental comfort than a plan. There are millions of bettors who did better than all these psychics and they manage to do this many times, if these psychics are that good, we will have many on records but these are small numbers compared to gamblers who do it many times, some of the bets of these psychics are co incidence because they cannot make it two or three in a row, while we have seen gamblers doing it many times because of their passion to analyze the games.
I think sports bettors have a better winning percentage than these psychics.

Why not? If the psychic predictor have results, that is has formerly giving predictions that later came correct, I will not mind risking some money on their abilities. Lol no I sure do not believe in Psychic betting.  Now that being said I'm not convinced that psychics are all fakes and phonies (even though I certainly do believe that vast majority are) I just dont think that they have the ability to be able to see things like the outcomes to certain games.  I think if this were a thing we would have seen it in the news or something already.  Like proven facts I mean.
