If you paid more attention to what I wrote, you would notice, that I was saying only about merit requirements for Heroes, not Hero Rank completely. Nevertheless, it’s up to the manager to decide. He could be open to different options. Otherwise, why would he ask the potential participants about desired payroll?

Even if you reach the merit for the hero rank, you will still need to wait more months to achieve the hero rank. You can only choose the pay rate rank that you have already reached. This means a Jr. rank with 1000 merit cannot choose the payroll for the Legendary rank. Hopefully, you know what I mean.
