It does, but sometimes it works the other way round. Kids are so sick of all that gambling happening around them so they never gamble in their whole life. I personally know such examples. Kids don't always want to be like their parents, especially when their parents are not successful. Actually, it would be a big tragedy if someone won big money through gambling by chance and their kids would want to follow.
