My first time of hearing about Bitcoin, it sounded like a joke and the more it advance to my best of understanding via experiences of how rumours were spread on my region, I otherwise have it to be scammers Coins platform without truly known about how is it is used and its reality potentials.
While at 2018 I began to understand that it is a digital currency and I literally don't care about the word "Crypto". But interestingly at 2019, some of the prominent Bitcoin advocates who goes around wide scales of organization centers to advertise and spreads the existence of Bitcoin visited my school and held a lawful and management approved seminar tilted "Your financial freedom with Bitcoin crytop currency".
Then I was on my project against my final year program so I had this thought that after school I should be going into the labour market so I just have to give this seminar a try because I believes that something good could always come from an unusual because it always has the secrets to better expectants returns. So at my getting to the venue I saw my school lecturers seriously dedicated to acquire the knowledge happens to be skillful on how to make wealth digitally through the internet.
There I learnt about the potentialities of Bitcoin, its goals of aim and objectives at its inventions.
Now I am a passionate Bitcoin lover hoping to make my greatest part of life out from this Bitcoin journey.

Can I believe that there is a Bitcoin support group that goes around several organizations to advertise Bitcoin because in 2019 many countries in the world have implemented lockdowns and there are no crowd activities. All types of activities are carried out without face to face.

The Bitcoin support group which makes efforts to promote Bitcoin and even holds seminars for me is an extraordinary initiative as long as what is being promoted is about Bitcoin.
Bitcoin is different from crypto in general on the market. Bitcoin is limited, crypto is not.

After you become part of Bitcoin because of an incident that you have described above, you must learn how to use Bitcoin properly and learn how to store Bitcoin correctly.

Op could be right at his post while i just tried to view his profile and he seems to be a Fellow Nigerian. Lemme break it down for you, at earlier 2019 there was no effect of Covid-19 in my country there were free movement and face to face talk and discussion while op progress, we have been hearing this lockdown rumor from China and other countries how so many dead case were recorded. So, late 2019 around December the rumor gets to our country Nigeria were they started recording some cases in ABJ and LAG, then early 2020 between February A first lockdown (Seat at home was introduced) in fact to crown it all, the year 2020 was almost spent in Lockdown due to covid-19 then people were just praying for life to leave.

Then back to op, i know it's risky not to take risk why because when the world bitcoin first came to your knowledge you thought it was scammer but then you never knew anything about it maybe you never did any research before jumping into conclusion to classify it as scam or something else but thanks to those who came to your school to advance you people on how bitcoin works and how one can be financially free. I believe it was from this class you pick the courage to delve into bitcoin to discover and unveiled things you never knew before, and lastly you belong to the place where people talks about only bitcoin and I believe you still have long passage to walk through to be fully guided in terms of security and how you could make a successful investments without falling into scam. This same experience has happened to many before in the past, they got misled by the people around them all because they were not being told about a positive thing concerning bitcoin and that was the only reason that they missed out the opportunity for making an investment in it and are regretting such loss of privilege already

It is normal that many doubted about bitcoin when it was still new, this is just because people no nothing about it. One of the things I observed when bitcoin was still new people never hyped it the way other new projects were hyped and promoted but with time it was get more  recognition. Most early beginners of bitcoin had  a little doubt in bitcoin and I don't think anyone needs to be blame for this . I think when it is best to embrace things that are new it is  when their is a good understanding about. I agree with what @OP said about something good can always come from the unusual. That's true. Before we got to know bitcoin, we never imagined that there would be crypto that could help us get benefits. But after we know that there is a cryptocurrency/bitcoin that can help us make money in the future by using it, it really opens up our horizons that we can make a profit from bitcoin.
And if @OP now realizes the potential benefits he can get from investing in bitcoin, he should start to focus more on investing in bitcoin. Right now, he still has the opportunity to do so, especially since the price of bitcoin can still rise again, so he still has time to buy more bitcoin.

Many people including me thought that Bitcoin was a scam. The first time I heard about Bitcoin I never had an interest in it because there was a high rate of scams through crypto and Ponzi schemes. I picked much interest in the coin when I was introduced to the forum and I got more understanding when I began to do more research.

I hope you have graduated from school and can secure a job now. My advice is that you shouldn't see Bitcoin as a full-time job because you need money to invest in it and you can engage in it as a passive endeavor. So go get a job and invest gradually from your earnings using the DCA strategy. The Bitcoin journey is a lifelong experience that is fruitful if you keep learning.

I love sweet stories of people investing in Bitcoin. You know, whenever these stories are told, we often forget that it wasn't a straight path. One of the best things that has ever happened to the world is Bitcoin, and it is easy to see because at first, they ignored it; then it started to get more support, and then they tried to shut it down. All other strategies have failed, and we are right now in the phase where they are trying to indirectly own and control it through their Bitcoin ETFs. And this is what makes it all the more exciting.

Investing in Bitcoin is one thing; investing in learning about how to secure your bitcoins is another thing that you must take seriously because people lose their bitcoins more to the loss of their keys than to scammers and hackers.

That’s how it sounded to almost everyone when they first heard about bitcoin, no one could believe bitcoin was real and for the potentials people claim it had sounded like a scam. People who don’t truly understand the concept of bitcoin will always think it is fake. Few months before the introduction of bitcoin there was a Ponzi scheme that was introduced in my country and it scammed a lot of people that time, so when bitcoin was introduced people didn’t want to believe in it, they all assumed it was also a ponzi scam because they don’t want to scammed again not knowing they are missing out on a golden opportunity at that time.

It's just like myself; I actually became more interested in Bitcoin after attending a Bitcoin seminar back in school, and today I am very glad that I got into the space because I can say I have archived some good stuff because of Bitcoin or getting into the crypto space generally. Calling bitcoin a joke reminds me of years back when I didn't know about bitcoin. I keep asking questions and doubts on how will someone be able to make money out of something he or she can't feel or see. It takes a whole lot of convincing and the help of the forum members posts helps to change my reasoning of calling bitcoin a joke to become a crypto believer.

Each time I hear someone else calling bitcoin a joke, I laugh out loud at that because the person hasn't learned about bitcoin in the right way. He or she is just been blind from the truth, and I don't blame them. I blame the government and the media for projecting bitcoin to be bad for people. Those people who are less exposed to bitcoin, now capitalize on that without researching on their own about bitcoin

It reminds me of the old days when I try to explain it to people they hear to me, but they weren't able to accept it. Majority of the people state its virtual presence as the reason, how could a number be valued same as the currency. Now those people could've come to realisation about the technology and how value have evolved out of it. As most users stated, even now in the name of cryptocurrency more scams were happening around. This too a reason why people doesn't have the interest as well as tries to stay away from it.
