In my opinion that is not exactly the case. Part of the market cap of gold and precious metals in general that was used as a store of value has been absorbed by Bitcoin, but not at that specific moment of the ATH, it has been a slow process that has lasted years from the moment Bitcoin was launched. If we compare the profitability of gold versus Bitcoin in that period we will see that gold has barely been profitable, the opposite of Bitcoin. That we are on the verge of ATH in gold is another indicator that the best is yet to come with the price of Bitcoin.

It's commonplace for negative news to happen, and investors trade off the value of bitcoin. I think that if we are not a beginner then we will have no trouble figuring out how to use this market and If this is true, then we can live for a long time like this without the stress of needing to work.

Your happiness seems like you are holding a good amount of Bitcoins which is bringing you a big profit. Yes when the price of bitcoin increases then a positive effect is seen in the whole crypto market and at that time almost all types of crypto investments give us good returns. The way Bitcoin price has started to rise will make a new ATH very soon. On the other hand, we have seen previously that when the price of Bitcoin goes up, the price of Gold goes down and when the price of Bitcoin goes down, the price of Gold goes up. I haven't heard anything about a new pandemic, but news tends to make its way very slowly into my realm and I'll have to check that out.  You mentioned silver rising, and as I own some that's always pleasant to see, but I think gold has gone up even more.  I can't remember the high back in 2011, but I think the price it's at now surpasses that.  Crazy, crazy, crazy.

Dollar index is not especially weaker and it already failed to test 100 and decline below it properly, it bounced instead.   Be on guard that says to me.  However its also true DXY is just a measure of one FIAT vs another and they do literally all attempt to decline in perfect harmony to avoid any disruption to trade and so all money everywhere is likely worth much less.  No surprise, the prices arent going up purely from companies hating on their customers its partly nominal adjustment to lower value.

Since states are tied to gold and foreign exchange reserves, then with an increase in printed money (even though gold reserves remain unchanged), inflation will always increase. I don't see anything surprising in the fact that inflation continues to rise, in fact the price of gold is rising, but this is due to an increase in the money supply. And since Bitcoin has a limited emission, the increase in the price of Bitcoin is a logical process that I have been waiting for for a long time.

GOLD supply is not limited this true but not too much in the market, of course it's demand is huge then supply so it's price increasing day by day.
It's price very close to 1000$ in my country I am sure it price will rapidly increase in 2024 more than last year. Btc is also highest increased in this year, Halving is very soon it might be main reason.

Yes Sir! It is a great time to be alive and breathing and seeing all of this transpire right before our eyes. I always see more so serious posts on here so I thought it would be fun to shake things up a bit and add some enthusiasm. Gold is definitely passing silver rn in terms of profit but BTC trumps all of them for sure! Definitely think all this sudden movement has everything to do with the ETF but hey i'm not complaining about it.

I don't know about y'all, but when everything is up (including stocks, which weren't mentioned much here) it kind of scares me.  That tells me that there's too much money floating around and people are speculating instead of investing for the long term.  It's great that bitcoin is up a lot, and I would not be shocked to see it head past its ATH, but as I've written a million times I don't want to see it go up too fast. 

And I'm still waiting for a huge stock market crash that never seems to come.  Bull markets can last a long time, but Jesus....it's been what, a decade-and-a-half now?  And on top of that, gold is at or above its ATH and silver is creeping up as well?  I don't know, all of this makes me nervous.  I've got my party hat at the ready, but I'm reluctant to put it on at the moment lest I jinx all the markets.

The approval of Spot Bitcoin ETF will affect the price of Bitcoin more than the results of the US election. So I am more concerned about SEC approval than the US elections. It will take many years for Bitcoin to unseat the USD as the global reserve currency because the world economy is deeply dollarized. I don't get why bitcoin's up and rising either, not that I'm not happy about it I mean it's always welcome to increase the value of my moolah, but at the same time I just can't find a reason why. I guess you could attribute a couple factors like the loosening tension between warring countries, the Hamas and Israel war still being in the thick of it which could lead to some indirect funding on both ends which crypto could facilitate, or perhaps a couple more other reasons we have no clue about.

For the meantime, I say we just sit until we see the first signs of decline. Hikes like these are flimsy in nature and I'm still positive that a correction is due, so we better prepare before it bites our asses back.

We have to make sure there is no FUD news until the end of the year to make sure there is no market correction below $40k, another fact they are waiting for market sentiment to buy at low prices because big investors will take profits after making 100% profit at the current price, so we have to Waiting for the market sentiment session in the last week of this month and at least throughout January next year, I think we still have the opportunity to buy at lower prices if a market correction occurs before the bullish market period.

No upset news is like wishing for no germs to exist, they will and do occur but its the reaction to the bad news that defines the strength of BTC.   I know alot of people have aspirations beyond 40k well its never getting there without being tested harder before hand.  Its never going right up without resets, I really dont believe in that performance there are too many doubters and sellers along the way that would happen as any likely scenario.
  However end of year is practically right now in big picture terms, quite a few holiday weeks possible in conjunction and apparently its common for larger trading operations to just skip the whole section and return earlier then otherwise next year.   This confluence can sometimes contribute to whats presumed to be an xmas effect, certainly this part of the year seems to trade different quite often.

For such holders who are not rich, it is not my priority to buy gold; my priority is to pay cryptocurrency and a little bit of Bitcoin anyway. Because what is happening now is getting closer to the truth.

Personally I was waiting for the next peak from 4-year cycle. Previously we had ATHs for Bitcoin in 2013, 2017 and 2021. ATHs happen approx.12 months after the block reward halving. And this is where I am getting confused. I was hoping for the next ATH by 2025, but currently the prices are rocketing upwards. And still we have 4.5 months to go for the next halving event. Ideally it should take around 1.5 years more to get the peak. And who knows? We may witness a major correction in the next 6 months or so, which will take BTC prices back to 30k levels.

No one knows for sure the truth. We may see Bitcoin experiencing a correction throughout the end of this year so we have to be prepared for all possibilities. We already see $44k as a temporary high that Bitcoin can reach. And even though the price is currently in a correction condition, having decreased to $41,500, we still have a high probability of seeing an increase in Bitcoin prices in the next year.

This gives us more time to accumulate Bitcoin. We should be able to use it by buying more Bitcoin in this correction period. Even though we don't know whether the price will continue to experience correction and fall further, we must be able to remain patient.

On what time span we are talking about here since if we think about this $50k price to come on December month maybe we can agree to this that $50k might don't come due to some series of correction that might happen. But for next year I don't think that $50k is not possible to come since I think there's huge demand will come to bitcoin as there are so many investor would provably pour some money to invest on bitcoin and it create a massive demand due to the hype brought up by halving season.

The point is that when too much paper money is printed, bitcoin will continue to increase in price, all assets will also increase, houses/property, gold or physical goods. And Bitcoin is still my best investment asset at the moment, apart from being young it is also growing more consistently. Do Dca now and hold until 2025, approximately 5-6 months until halving so there is still time for accumulation. After the halving there will be a slight correction then in 2025 there will be severe bullishness and an all time high. History will repeat itself, keep buying crypto before the halving and correct after the halving.

I'd ask you for a source, but I'm guessing you wouldn't be able to provide one for that assertion.  And who'd be looking to go to war with each other?  The only conflict going on that I'm aware of is that between Russia and Ukraine, and since it started the price of precious metals has been all over the place.  Copper has been pretty flat as far as I know, and that'd be one of the metals used in huge quantities for instruments of war.  Meh.
