Brazil were really disappointing against Colombia. They should consider themselves lucky to get that draw with such a horrible performance. 

Considering the quarter final matchups:

- Argentina - Ecuador
- Venezuela - Canada
- Colombia - Panama
- Uruguay - Brazil

These are my predictions. Yeah I see Brazil out in this phase already unfortunately.    Because Uruguay look more stable to me. Brazil are quite unpredictable. By the way Vinicius Junior is going to miss this game as well because of being yellow card suspension. Uruguay are seen as the underdog of course however the gap of odds isn't that big.



I expect Venezuela - Canada also to be a really close one but I see Venezuela one step ahead because of their form.

The Brazil vs Colombia match is amazing. Both teams are doing everything to win. I am having fun watching this game. They're both beating each other. And, both teams have ballers trying to do crazy things with the ball. The only problem is that conmebol never learned from their past mistakes. They showed the offside line for Colombia, but drew it on the wrong player. This is quite annoying for the viewers.

Poor finishing by colombia saved brazil from losing the game. Brazil is very lucky today, and they aren't trailing by 3 goals because of 2 golden chances missed by a Colombian player. And last, colombia is very strong equally to the brazil, and they almost beat brazil if the two chances were not missed. It's a very entertaining game.

To be honest, in this Copa America, I don't really favor Brazil in the race for the trophy, maybe Argentina will still retain the Copa America trophy because their performance is still solid and strong. Even though Brazil has good and talented players, it's just that the coach isn't that good, maybe it's time for Brazil to be humble, throw away their ego, and bring in a coach from outside Brazil to welcome the 2026 World Cup.

Despite Chile didn't make out of the group stage I was still impressed with their performance because playing 10 against 11 is not an easy thing, the seriously hold on to Canada in defending themselves. The faith of group A is now clear, Argentina and Canada make it out of group A, Argentina are the first to be known to win all the three matches played in the group stage, making a total of 9 points, 5 goals and zero conceded goals. Let see how the remaining group goes, maybe if they can make like Argentina, in my own opinion Argentina remain the favourite to win the trophy.

The performance of Argentina Football team is top class and they are playing with full confidence and their energy level is top class and they have capability to win against any big team . Their defenders are doing great for the team and I think they will give their best to win match against any team and at any situation.Their goalkeeper Martínez is in excellent form and he has super abilities to stop the ball and his sense of humour is top class and he is beneficial for the team . While I am not satisfied by the performance of  Chile team and they should do  one goal against Canada but they could not do that and they missed many chances. With that kind of performance,Chile team could not win the tournament. Chile team should be fully prepare to win this Cup.

In the group phase matches we are having three teams at his best as Argentina is surely superior, but we have amazing performance from the Uruguay and Venezuela are also at his best now we are heading for the next round with most chances we will have these three teams into next round because of their performance and quality as Columbia is also clearly having chance for the qualification into next round but as we are having Argentina look like they are going to have another title.

We have disappointing event for the few teams as well with the USA, Mexico and Chile are having not good performance, and they need to be had change of their strategy before world cup if they want to have better results otherwise things are going to be from bad to worse for them.

I would not say that all the players in the Brazilian team are overrated. Vini is excellent striker now. He has already proved his ability. Vinicius' performances in the last two seasons with Real Madrid have been excellent. Vini is a worthy contender for this season's Ballon d'Or. But he is not able to play well with the Brazilian team. In fact, none of the players in the squad are performing well with the Brazilian team. I would say this is the coach's weakness. Players cannot adapt themselves to match strategy.

This is interesting because from the beginning of the Copa, Brazil, Uruguay and of course Argentina are the top 3 clubs that are favorites to win but they (Brazil & Uruguay) directly meet in the quarter-finals this time which is certainly a big match that is quite interesting to wait for.

If we look at the statistics in the group stage of course Uruguay for now is still better than Brazil but when the big match happens I think it will be difficult to predict. I expect more from Brazil at the Copa America this time especially with the depth of the squad they have actually Brazil they should be better than what they are currently showing but indeed Dorival Júnior seems unable to maximize Brazil's strength when it should be with the strength of the players they have should be their performance more than this. But Dorival Júnior seems to have difficulty making some schemes that suit the current condition of the players.

Wow. Considering that Vinnie will be absent, it will be incredibly difficult to predict the result of this game. To be honest, at first when I saw the quotes I thought it was easy money (bet on Brazil), but in fact Brazil is now a big brand but nothing else. I can imagine the disappointment of the tournament organizers if Brazil really leaves it, I think everyone will agree that if you are not from the participating country, then this tournament is interesting to you only because of this confrontation. Still, the European Championship is much more interesting.

I too am not at all satisfied with Brazil's overall performance. I expected to see a better performance from the Brazilian players. But Brazil completely failed to live up to my expectations.

The main two strong teams in Group D were Brazil and Colombia. However, Brazil managed to win only one match out of 3 matches. Brazil share points with Costa Rica and Colombia. Brazil have many star players in attack, but their performances have been poor.

Brazil got problems with their national team recent years not only in Coppa America 2024 this summer. Recent years, they did not have a top notch striker that they used to have in the past with Ronaldo, Adriano, Fabiano and attacking midfielders no longer have as same as high quality as the past generations. Attacking wing defenders have lower quality than previous generations with Cafu, Carlos, Marcelo, Dani Alves. Generally I can say Brazilian national team have many problems and some super star players like Vinicius Junior is too less to cover their whole team.

The main weakness of Brazil's squad right now is their lack of experienced players. In attack Vini, Raphinha and Rodrygo are not experienced enough. They are very talented no doubt. But if you want to perform well in the national team jersey, you need experience. Despite having plenty of talented players in Brazil's attack, their performances have been erratic due to a lack of experience. This group may become stronger in future, but it needs time. At the same time, Brazil definitely needs an experienced coach.

Uruguay is a very strong team as we have already seen. Uruguay is one of the favorites for this year's Copa America title. So unless Brazil's performance improves, I don't see any chance of them winning against Uruguay.

Uruguay had some disappointed tournaments recently when their legendary players like Forlan, Suarez, Cavani retired or experienced last years in their career. This Coppa America gives me a surprising performance of Uruguay and hope that they can win a first big title after many decades and also debut a new player generation in next several years to compete with Brazil and Argentina in Coppa America and other teams in World Cup.

After the retirement of players like Cavani and Suarez, Uruguay's overall condition was somewhat weak. But right now this group is very strong. They have talented players like Nunez, Araujo, Pellistri and Valverde in their squad. And the important thing is that the chemistry between the players is very good. This is why Uruguay performed well in every match of the group stage. Uruguay is expected to win against Brazil as well.

We're missing a natural center forward, I don't know why Dorival Junior didn't take Pedro, Flamengo's striker. For me, he is the best center forward active in Brazil, he is a complete center forward, he shoots with both legs, heads, dribbles, pivots...
