I’m very confident Argentina and Colombia get through to the semi finals. I’m less sure about the Venezuela game but think they will edge it and Uruguay vs Brazil is a real titanic battle, it could go either way, both teams have great players but for some reason I think Brazil will advance, maybe even on penalties.

I agree with all your choices by being unsure about the last one only. I'm also thinking Uruguay - Brazil is a pretty close one. Brazil are favoured by small margin but they are playing against one of the biggest title favourites.

I really like to watch Uruguay in Copa America honestly.    I can confidently say they have the most effective game so far. Brazil might have more issues in the attacking area while Vinicius Jr is suspended of yellow cards. By the way I have never seen Darwin Nunez this good lately.    He is having big issues with scoring at Liverpool but he isn't the same at his national team. I hope he gets better in the PL next season also.

The Uruguay versus Brazil match is actually very difficult to predict, because Brazil is not currently in its best performance. It is possible that Uruguay will qualify for the semifinals, and losing Vinicius is a major blow for Brazil. On paper, Argentina, Venezuela, Colombia and Brazil deserve to go to the next stage, considering that they are basically the superior teams. Meanwhile, for those who want to bet, I think they still need better consideration, and I think many will choose the teams above.

I think the only team that can challenge Argentina in the Copa America is Uruguay who will be playing against Brazil and both Argentina and Uruguay share same number of times they have won the Copa America which is 15 times each.

Not that i am comparing the nations in it to to other nations but let’s be real here the European competition which is the Euros is by far a better competition than this Copa America in terms of competitiveness. I had thought it would have been more competitive with the inclusion of the northern American countries but yet it is just as boring as before. The matches in other competitions are been tried to stretch to but they are canceling out extra time again. Even the AFCON is better competition than this in terms of competitiveness.

Just like your frustration too, I am also fed up with the every two years tournament it is not making it exciting anymore. The excitement will be in a long time anticipation of it happen and not the two thing.

Brazil will be playing without the important figure of Vinicius Junior that gives them an extra gas in their attack, they have replacements, but they will not do as well as he would have done in this important game. Uruguay are playing very well and their striker Darwin Nunez has not been bad in the Copa, he has found the net to help Uruguay to this level, he has high probability to find the goal again for Uraguay against Brazil. My prediction will be Uruguay to win the game but but a very close margin. Brazil's next game will be the end for them.

Well just as you said, they are truly the strongest and are also leading Ecuador by goal to nil at half time currently now. This Argentina side for me are already in the finals because if you check out their journey to the finals it's quite easier than their supposed rival which I believe is Brazil but the only issue is that currently now even Brazil isn't certain to be in that finals especially with the way they have been performing.

Brazil's condition is very weak in this Copa America. And they don't get Vinicius Jr in the meantime so there is no doubt that their squad will be weaker. Ecuador goal in the 90+1 minute forced Argentina to continue the match to a penalty shootout. The results in 2x45 minutes of normal time were very surprising, there was a lot of drama involved, including Emiliano Martinez saving Enner Valencia penalty in the 62nd minute. When the Argentinian spectators and fans started to be optimistic about the 1-0 win, Kevin Rodriguez gave Ecuador hope by changing the score to 1-1.

I really applaud the struggle of the Ecuador players, they have an unyielding spirit and are ready to fight until the last minute, losing in the penalty shootout is not too painful because one club must be eliminated. Congratulations to Argentina for successfully qualifying for the semifinals, they will wait for the winner in the other match between Venezuela vs Canada.

We got a great surprise in today's match, where Argentina and Ecuador played an interesting game. Although in this game I would say Ecuador team played much better than Argentina and they performed well but unfortunately lost because of their luck. The two teams were almost evenly matched in attack and possession, and Ecuador had more shots on target than Argentina. We saw Argentina score a goal before half-time in the game, but Ecuador equalized late in the half-time. The game went on for a long time but neither team could score which led to the match going to penalties where Argentina won by one goal. Although the penalty shootout depends largely on the luck of each team and Argentina were lucky enough to enter the semi-finals on penalties, but Ecuador had a bad luck which saw them exit from the Copa America.

Two Ecuadorian players, Ángel Mena and Alan Minda, missed their penalties as Argentina went ahead and won.  Great penalty shots by Gonzalo Montie, Mac Allister and Julián Álvarez helped Argentina advance to the semi-finals.
However, both the teams performed very well from the beginning to the end of the game on the field and the match was a draw.

I can't remember the last time we saw Argentina lose a match. The last probably Argentina team lost against Saudi Arabia in the World Cup. Since then, Argentina has continued its winning streak. Argentina is consistently performing well in every match.
