Quite interesting - How long would it take for the average user to achieve Hero?

I don't know the exact time or how long would it take to reach hero member rank but I know it differs to each forum members. Some reach hero member rank much longer than what is shown in the thread that OmegaStarScream or the table from that thread that is quoterd in this thread since there's also merits required when it is implemented years ago. Well, if you manage to reach the highest required merits then the time on how long you reach hero member will stay the same since you'll only need to increase your activity points which is not hard since it only needs time unlike merits which you need to contribute in the forum and get merited for it. In my situation, it took more than 3 years to reach hero member when I registered on January 21, 2018 which is a few days before the merit is implemented and received a total of 500 merits on November 14, 2021. Honestly, I think it is possible to reach hero member rank in 2 years as what you can see in the table.

As already pointed out the time can be calculated based on the activity distribution period like every fortnight you get 14 points of activity but for Hero rank you also need 500 merits then how do you estimate that time? The above highlighted point is main that how well you contribute to the forum and how much it was useful or recognized by other members.There are some members who will gain merits fast while for some growth might be slow but important is you reaching your goals.So work on that part instead of getting average time as you can't estimate that due to merits restrictions.

Whichever you make, it should be some relevant post because that will help you earn the required merit, which can also help you to archive your hero rank.

If you engage in positive discussion organically, you will be able to archive the required merit to rank up; you may even get help from a merit source, but the activity count is what automatically updates every 14 days. Take, for example, my profile. I created my account last year in October, and I am still having 434 activities. I am supposed to have up to 490 activities in February 2024, which is my 16th month of being here.

That's some beautiful way to design a system don't you think? I mean everyone must walk in same footsteps That's of you meet the requirements as no one can actually run faster than their shadows and I believe everyone here on the forum had to wait 16 months before they actually achieve their hero no matter how many thousands of merit you have achieved and some now stay longer of the 16month activity is already breached but the merit requirements are not yet fulfill then I guess you can even stay UpTo a year or even more cause I have seen so many accounts actually backdating to four , five and six years back but yet are still roaming the full member or senior member rank.

If you just stay active, you'll reach hero rank sooner or later. The less you keep particular goal in mind, the easier it'll be.

The hardest part isn't to get merits, but it's to gain activity.
I never post for quota or volume, but I do post a lot (often between 30 and 50 posts a week since I've been really active). But it's hard to get activity up, 14 by 14 is slow... (not complaining, I like the fact that to rank up takes some time)

That depends on user, you seem good poster so you have achieved merit early than activity points, you should be leggy by now just looking at merits.

For most other users, it's other way around, easy activity (in comparison), hard to earn merits.
