I'll get to investigating and see if there are any other untrustworthy or suspicious users.
And how exactly are you going to do that, considering that your account was created less than 2 months ago? Perhaps you already read all forum thus you know who is scammer and who isn't?
Lol, I saw that post and it brought me back to the pre-merit system era when you'd see idiotic things being written just like that, except that ineedhelpplease isn't in a campaign or bounty.  Guess he's just trying to boost his post count or something.  See, Vod?  Some things just never change around here.

Thankfully since you've been away, there haven't been too many reputable members who've turned into scammers.  I can't recall usernames, but there was that charity scam a while back, the Coldkey scam in the Collectibles section, and maybe a couple of others.  I'm sure that doesn't help, but I thought I'd just mention it if anyone remembers the details/names.

Although from first glance I can understand the post count stuff, I actually tried to put effort. I already knew it would be dumb to just go back on my word after saying I would do something so I tried. I hadn't made a post all day because I was trying to complete what I started here. Willing to send you what I had so far in PMs if you need proof (2k words). Doesn't matter much though because it's not good at the end of the day but still that was not an attempt to raise post count. If I didn't actually try then wouldn't this all be considered spamming?
Bitcoin mining is now a specialized and very risky industry, just like gold mining. Amateur miners are unlikely to make much money, and may even lose money. Bitcoin is much more than just mining, though!

[...] except that ineedhelpplease isn't in a campaign or bounty.  Guess he's just trying to boost his post count or something [...]

Yet. Not on a campaign yet.

But that's his ultimate goal, to regain his lost on Rollbit through signature campaign, so I guess the aim was to chase merit to rank-up. I was overseeing his case v. rollbit from the beginning, so I'm kinda familiar with the case [not with the deal, though, I think it's made behind the screen?].

And yes, been watching him since he firstly emerge on this forum, I have to say that his choice of boards are rather... uncanny for a newbie, so does several of his posts.

[...]

I was told that I'm allowed to have the chance at possibly participating in their Rollbit Campaign to earn the lost money back if I'm at the proper ranking so I guess this is my new side goal or something.

This is correct.

As a plus, the charity scam involved these users: cabalism13, crwth and bl4nkcode - topic Bitcointalk Charity and its funds.
Besides, figmentofmyass was caught cheating CM campaign for years in a row using multiple accounts.
And Dabs defaulted 2 loans - one of 0.605 BTC and one of 16.800$.

Yes, and thank you to GazetaBitcoin for verifying that.  For whatever reason, usernames drop right off my neuronal radar when they disappear, assuming they haven't made a big impact on me or the community.  Yogg and those charity scammers were ones I didn't know well, but in any case I don't think Vod has any of them on his trust list.  And the Coldkey scam is something Vod might have been aware of anyway.

I was and I never trusted Yogg - he seemed shady to me.   I think I have a pretty good judgement system, seeing as only 1 of my trustees turned out to be a scammer.

Time to get out the cough mixture...

Speaking of me, the trust is for a person's evaluation of their trust feedback - not for personal vendettas.

You are probably the most controversial person here on the forum

Given it wasn't that long ago you sent me a barrage of PM's *cough* suggesting I comply with your plans to manipulate the DT system - then distrusted me when I choose not to - I take your above statement to be a complement and wear it as a badge of honour.

As to Vod's trust list - he might "trust" some users, but they choose not to trust him.

Vod Trusts these users' judgement:

14. Welsh (Trust: +4 / =1 / -0) (DT1! (22) 3101 Merit earned) (Trust list) (BPIP)

As it is Vod was trusting SiNeReiNZzz, however, SiNeReiNZzz had already chosen to distrust Vod.  (so now they distrust each other)

It shows he doesn't use his Trust list to retaliate on those users. Why would you even bring that up?

Well, if you were a true contributor, which I believe you are somehow, not always, but even though you are vengeful person, I have said this before that you have contributed to this community, only if you could keep your personal feelings apart from other things. Now if there is anything that needs to be known, it's your duty to the community you have tried so hard to protect to reveal any shenanigans happening behind the closed doors.

So you are either accusing him, or have proof to back this claim up, I won't rely on anyone here though, it seems money can shut people's mouth, a big surprise.

Vod also might want to know about DT manipulators, not that any thing matters any more, here people do everything and nobody questions them, but when you do the questioning, the result will be = troll, liar, scammer. Just ignore. Lol

A belated welcome back. With the way the trust system works identifying obvious scammers or dubious accounts should be pretty straightforward. I think the Scam Accusations and Reputation board are two place you can look through just to gauge opinions. If you see red tags it might be worthwhile for you to read through the trust before deciding to exclude or exclude. Other than that, you might receive more replies here with specific cases or controversies.

I would say that the trust list is quite a personal matter and should depend exclusively on your judgment about other members.

Of course!  I just asked for help in identifying obvious scammers, so I wouldn't support any baddies until I had time to fully come up to speed.
