When do you take out your investment when in profit?

Greed is taking over you. You want more and I don't blame you for that since cryptocurrencies are mostly about that.
But you said it was 2x. Now, check how much you made. Was it worth it if you withdrew now? Will it be a satisfying move? Those are the questions that only you can answer and not us. Even if we know the history of a coin that you invested there's no assurance that it could grow more to x5 or x10. We don't have the crystal ball to see the future, we are just the same investors here who are expecting a miracle to happen.
Do remember though, altcoins are not Bitcoin. There's a high chance your portfolio is growing because of the pump of Bitcoin so it doesn't mean they are gaining value on their own. Bitcoin may pump after ETF approval but it won't mean that the same goes for other coins in the market.
If you want, you can stick with Bitcoin or Ethereum because both are aiming high. There may not be an x5 or x10 but the risk is lower than expecting something from altcoins.
Don't be consumed by your greed and if ever you make a choice, don't regret it. I suggest not looking back once your settled on selling them.

I think with your investment in altcoin not really worth waiting most higher price or expected until x10 for taking profit, never be greedy when trading in altcoin depend has moment take profit better do it and don't wait for raising most higher price again. You can try with another way if your target price raise more than x10 sell half or 30% and left than 70% hold and it and waiting potential will raise to higher price or not. I have experienced with altcoin trading but never expected more bigger profitable above x10 and usually taking profit around x2 is enough than have loss all when price drastically dump.

If token potential has only 2x with less volatility then 2x is enough and if your purchased tokens have still high potential to increase further to 5x then withdraw capital and keep other for 5x . Remember one thing that not every token will give you 5x profit. The average profit for the most coins are 2x-3x. I think 3x is enough for you for safe investment.

Well for me I am investing on new projects and taken out capital and of course have a moon bag too just in case that token pumped well. Also invest on whats hot but not in the case that I am fomo hard. Sometimes being greedy isnt too good and holding too much as well bad either. The best strategy is the one you are thinking on employing, once a coin has presented significant profits the safest path you can take is to take out your initial investment and keep holding the rest.

This way even if the altcoin you are holding collapsed you will suffer no losses, but after that movement you will have to think once again about the perfect moment to sell the rest of your stash, however if the rest of the coins you are holding are not shitcoins but instead they are some good projects, then I do not think it could hurt you to keep those coins in your wallet and see if their performance is still good during the next months.

There are some news are circulating in the market and all of us know about it. I am talking about Bitcoin ETF. So if the Bitcoin ETF will pump the Bitcoin so Definitely the Altcoins will pump with Bitcoin. So if you are still holding so I will recommend that you should hold it more because if the Bitcoin will pump so others will follow it.

I think altcoin is not for long time holding. And profit is made I Dont thing it's necessary to still leave your capital and profit there. Because it's risky and unsafe. If there is any little dip now investors will start selling gradually till it dip below entry point and you will loose your capital and profit.

It is often advisable to always keep away from altcoins because they have the potential to cause loss of fund and if you have guessed privilege to make profit I sugjest you shouldn't be greedy otherwise you regret ever not selling it earlier.

Altcoins are very risky as we don't know when they'll crash, if you made profits it would be better you take out your initiative investment so you can use that profits invest to buy Bitcoin or a stablecoin and hold waiting for when that coin will dump in price so you can buy more and expect to make more profits when the price rise again. There's no specific price to sell as you don't know if the coin can go up to a particular price for you to sell and make profits.

What I do when I invest into altcoins and my investments are doing very well is to sell when I see I have made a good profits, some coins I sell at a good profits while others I just barely sell in profits. What is important when I invest into altcoins is to make sure I don't sell when the investment is now in a loss. Basically I would consider first the potential of the project, if they have enough value in the market and chances of growing and getting better are higher then I will find it a little convenient to hold for more time even after getting x4 of my investment but will always check on my investment daily so as not to miss the opportunity of selling out as most later end up in a bad state.

If it is then any memecoin or shitcoin as soon as the first pump begins I sell within the line when I feel convenient selling because as soon as the pumps end their is every tendency of the project dumping and getting rugged. I would not mind if my profit is X3, X4 or what ever.

Don't be greedy in waiting till you get 10x your initial invested amount. To be on a safer side, depending on the strength of the Altcoin you're holding, take the initial capital out and you can decide to reinvest the profit and maybe gamble with to the best of your ability.

Study the market, sometimes, follow trends, if people ate taking out their investment, join themm, don't allow greed eat you up.

You have asked a similar question in the bitcoin discussion board. I just took my time to revisit your question and it is so identical. Why repeating same question in different boards? This can be regarded as spamming.
Let me give you benefit of doubt that the question in the bitcoin discussion board was meant for your bitcoin investment while this is for altcoins investment.
If you invested in an altcoin and already in X10 profit, what again are you waiting for to sell. I am just so scared that I do not invest in altcoins, but if I have a legit information about any altcoin, I may change my mind and invest. X3 is a very huge profit I mean.
Although, altcoins investment is just like gambling, the reverse can also happen. That is the reason I have sticked with bitcoin.

X10 profit is lucky luck in altcoins, comparable to winning the jackpot in the lottery (with the caveat that the bet was high enough).

The truth is there is NO best time or accurate time to take out your investment once you hit profit. If you're the type who always gets their hunches right, then you should stick to what you feel. If your mind tells you that the your trade will still gain more profits, then you keep holding your investment. If you're uncertain about it, then you should probably take out your investment.
