Have you ever noticed a promotion that was meant to exist for testing a service, but if utilized smartly could lead to real winnings? I have a recent example of this.

Very recently the local lottery monopoly in my country wanted to promote their app and gave 10€ to buy lottery tickets to anyone that would use the app.

What country are you talking about that implements a lottery app that will give 10 euros? So is my understanding correct that there are 10 euros per ticket? If yes, isn't it like the price per ticket? Then it is right that out of millions of people who bet on the lottery, only one will be chosen to win their main jackpot prize.

Then it's possible to get really lucky and just increase the jackpot so that you have money in the lottery. I have read about some people who have been betting on the lottery for several years and have never been able to win, but if it's a total, the total of what they bet is a huge amount.

I've been thinking this might have been a miscalculation on their side, to allow players to also bet on keno. Because most of the time I see casinos handing out no-deposit bonuses it requires extreme luck to get anything back and very few manage to do it.

If I understood the scheme correctly, then the income for one registration was approximately 6 euros? If so, that's a good bonus. And if there was no hard KYC, then I think you could earn a lot more than 6 euros - there are many Android emulators for PC and you could do as many registrations as you like to get these 6 euros many times. That's cool if they don't restrict the balances to be used solely on the lottery. I'm pretty sure after this incident, they made sure that their future promotions will be thoroughly checked so that these things will not happen again. They wanted people to buy the lottery tickets with the money they provided for collecting data and testing purposes, and that didn't go to plan 100% because you guys have found something that they did not check.

Anyway, it's on the provider after all. Hopefully a lot of users did this, so they got something out of the free 10 euros. I'd surely do that in a heartbeat too!

I have never experienced that but if you think that you're able to outsmarted them, they'll try to recover that from other gamblers. This specific promotion I mentioned probably was more costly than the company had predicted due to how easy it was to actually cash out, potentially even easier than they had predicted.
But at the same time that promotion also must have brought in a lot of potential customers so they could probably count that as a win. If a promotion brings in more revenue than it costed in a matter of months, it's successful for sure. You're right, if they're aware of it, they're just considering it as an investment and there's a better return and impact for them in the long run. Well, ive never had such luck or should I call it opportunity, but I think I've witness one of such happen to a user on this forum, and I believe many of us will still remember.

He was gifted an NFT by one of the popular casinos here, the NFT comes with a $5000 bonus reward which is deposited into the gamblers account and he or she can use it to play slot of sports betting, but it came with almost a hundred thousand dollar wager requirement or a bit lesser just incase I don't completely remember well.

Yes, there are so many promotions and with that, those readers and those real gamblers who wanted to try the services of the platforms are rushing to join, it's not that easy though since there are also wagering requirements that most of the time really difficult to complete, but in terms of managing to win or wisely able to cash out after completing the wagering requirements, maybe there are smart and experienced gamblers who knows how to work on it and patiently playing with all their knowledge and hoping for luck to back them out.

Yes, in most cases this is evident. But there are still some which doesn't create such requirement for its players and rather just limiting the amount they could win.
