AFAIK even before, land based casino main target is huge city because that is the place which wealthy person usually leave or stay for work. Land-based casino customers target is still the same and they are still performing well even with the existence of online casino. There’s still a lot of new casino being constructed in our country after pandemic since there’s still a demand for this.

Online casino become a hit because it’s target audience are those people that can’t afford playing in land-based casino due to different reason but that doesn’t mean the old players of land based casino will choose online while they are already playing the upgraded version of casino experience.

It’s just the market for gambling industry grow significantly due to the existence of online casino while land based casino target market is still the same.

Even though I've never been to a physical casino, I understand your point of view. Casinos have a status symbol of wealth and provide the traditional feeling of gambling, offering an experience that online gambling cannot offer. I personally wouldn't bother visiting one, firstly because there isn't one nearby, in the whole island to be precise, and secondly, because they're made to make you lose track of time and eventually your money.

But as long as people wants to competes with the other people, offline casinos will still exist as you said. This will not stops people to continue playing gambling in the land-based casino. Las Vegas is known as the gambling capital of the world. Not only does it attract users around the world, it also becomes part of tourism where people would visit such place in order to experience the gambling atmosphere that Las Vegas exclusively offers.

Though the popularity of online gambling has become prominent over the last years due to COVID, the socialization and experience that you get to feel when visiting land-based casinos cannot be imitated in an online setting.

Instead of thinking that online gambling would soon overturn land-based casinos, they can always exist mutually with each other. No one has to go as they can exist with side-by-side catering to different types of people who prefer gambling otherwise.

       -    Yep, you're right. Right here in our country, where the casino is located, is surrounded by condo units, malls, and villages. Right here we can see their target market, which is middle-class people or rich people.

But even with their land-based casino strategy, I also think that the physical casino is still overcome by the online casino because their market is worldwide, where the rich and the poor can play gambling even at home, and even a small amount can be played.

That's why I don't they will just be forgotten even if a lot of online gambling sites are available in this era. Physical gambling sites are tourist spots too not just because of their gambling place but also because of their hotels and cuisines.
The idea of being there sounds exciting and I think a lot of people especially the older ones want to go there if possible but since many things happened including the pandemic, the perspective changed. First of all, try to erase in your memory what you have seen or knew about Las Vegas and try from the blank scratch. I havent visited casinos in Amsterdam, but I've heard from the guide that they are nice. If they were like a regular casino in your town - specious room with 4-10 tables and an area of slots, then the guide would not have even pointed about casinos of Amsterdam. I went to google and found some nice pictures. They are not like casinos in Vegas (that is why I suggested to erase Vegas experience), but definitely not like regular casino. At least it is not a one big room or place that 100 people would fit, but an area in Amsterdam.

Thanks for your advice! Next time I'm visiting Amsterdam I will definitely go to one of their casinos  to get a closer look at how they operate inside. I will erase everything about Las Vegas that was put there, in my memory, by movies, documentaries and books to not feel disappointed after visiting real-life casinos and comparing them to my false expectations. Thanks for that advice too. Overall, I think visiting land-based casinos from time to time wouldn't hurt anyone, but, of course, if you were diagnosed as a problem gambler, even just once in your life, you should stay away from those places.

Well compared to Macao there is not really a comparison. Vegas is like 20 years ago for me and I know a lot has changed.
Macao on the other hand was last year and I was really impressed.
Also it's a nice city, not only casinos and stuff like vegas. A lot of history, culture, traditional food, and more.

Coming back to casinos over there, there are so many degen gamblers from China, it's amazing. Also a lot of high rollers in the open throwing around cash, haha.
Seeing and experiencing this is so much more fun than sitting in front of a screen and pissing away money, haha. Even without money to gamble this is an experience, online, when you don't have money, there is no reason to even open the site of casino in my opinion.
