A part of our parents lives in us and it is difficult to do anything about it. But there are those who decide to break this chain and fight addiction, eventually defeating it. The addict selfishly thinks only about himself and how to maximize his wins hereby neglecting his family, he surely may be in pain, his pain is self inflicted though, but that of his family is like paying for the sins of their father and no family deserves to be treated that way. For children it must be one of the worst situations to be involved in, especially if it happens consistently in a frequent basis.
