i think anyone with a strong chin will fall when an unseen punch lands that hard.

Yes, I think we thought that Vargas will win that fight, although he has move up in weight that time and challenge Foster for the WBC super featherweight. But O'Shaquie fought a intelligent fight, he was able to neutralized Vargas, height and length and show his technical skills. But that's just one part of him being a fighter, we went down to Mexico and display resiliency on a pro-Mexican crowd and judges and give us the round of the year. If the fight goes to distance and to the judges scorecard, he will definitely lost that fight in a controversial manner. But he was able to stop Hernandez. Nova though is not in the top 10 in the WBC so most likely get busy fight before any unification for him.

Style makes fight, and against Vargas, but he also brilliantly move from southpaw to orthodox in that fight, that he completely dominated Rey Vargas, and won 116-112, 117-111 and 119-109. Throw and landed more punches as per compubox.

And then retain his belt in a hard fought match against Hernandez in Mexico.

Looking at the odds and it match what I did say early, easy fight for Foster as Abraham Nova is almost 7:1 underdog in this fight.

The odds favor Foster because between the two he is the more technical boxer, but in terms of power they are equal, 7:1 underdog in this fight is not acceptable Nova is not a level C fighter he has proven that he can get back from setbacks, I'm sure Nova learned a lot from that Ramirez losses and he will improve his defense I agree that Foster is a favorite but Nova can pull an upset here, he has fought one of the best fighters in that division and that will give him a good experience.

I expect a tough night for both fighters because they both love to slug it out and when two fighters love to slug it out and are willing to take it so they can give out, expect a very good fight.
It's two weeks to go looking forward to a press conference and of course the faceoff, both fighters love to threaten their opponent with their face-off by their looks.

Yes, some of us here become a fan of him, as he was able to big Vargas who you described as a technical fighter and then has the height and reach advantage. And the number of punches he throwed on that fight was really huge and it really help him win as Vargas was always on the defensive and can't established himself and can't even win with his long reach and jabs. But he will be facing another set of fighters, who might not be as technical as Vargas, but is heavy handed. I don't think he will be confident here, in the Ramirez fight fight, he didn't show any and was fighting to remain the belt under him and score a stoppage win. So we will see another side of Foster again, on how he will offset the power of Nova.

There are a lot of up-and-coming fighters on that undercard I'm sure the undercards will have a lot of action before the main event.

There are 4 champions in the Super featherweight/Junior lightweight (130 lb/59 kg) categories and among the four I consider Foster to be the best hopefully they'll get to unite all the titles in the future.

Nova fought Ramirez with a clear height and reach advantage, but Robeisy had no respect for Nova's power, that height and reach advantage has no bearing if your opponent will not respect you and can take your punches, that's exactly what happened to Ramirez - Nova fight, Ramirez just pressured Nova, cornered him and unleash the big right that sent Nova to the floor.
But Foster does not have Robeisy's power but he has speed and skill advantage and that's his leverage or advantage, for Nova to win the fight he needs to pressure Foster and hope that he can land the big punch,

O’Shaquie  Foster won the fight via split decision the fight as I expected was full of action from start to finish the fighters did come to fight, and the paying fans got what they deserved a slam-bang action, O’Shaquie  Foster used his experience to counter Nova and Nova pay the price by getting floored by O'Shaquie Foster and this leaves a good impression on the two judges to give Foster to favor him, this match deserves a rematch the fight was too close it could go either way, congratulations to both fighters for a great fight and congratulations too to boxing fans, this is a fight we all love to see.

Nova 5:1 underdog.

It didn't show up that way O’Shaquie  in his interview says he was off, I believe he really is, I'm surprised that he was not technical on this fight when he decided to go toe-to-toe and test Nova, the fight was too close,  in a championship fight, when the fight was too close the judges always lean on the champion, the rule is always been you have to take the crown from the champion, the challenger should be the aggressor and the hunter, Nova did well in the early round but O’Shaquie uses his experience in the championship rounds he knows the fight was too close.

When the fight is too close a knockdown in the championship rounds will create an impression on the judges and it did for O’Shaquie .
They need to do this again, but O’Shaquie can turn down the rematch and move on, because in the contract it's the champion who has the luxury to have a rematch in case he loses the title.
