In the race to become the richest in the world in the future, only  businessman can not get that place. In addition to being a big business owner, one must hold bitcoins. Do you agree with the statement?

For me yes there will be a higher chances of achieving such title as a rich guy in the future with Bitcoin and a business or other centralized assets hodlings no doubt about that. Diversifying our investments into different asset classes will also give us the chance of becoming a rich guy one day. But if you are a professional trader I think having Bitcoin and crypto assets alone will make you rich in just a couple of months or years compared to having the stable assets.

To be honest, we have heard many stories about people becoming rich thanks to bitcoin, the cryptocurrency. But so far, how many people have become rich through cryptocurrency trading and investing ? How many people have you met who became rich thanks to cryptocurrency or only heard about it from stories or on social networks ?

We should be wary and not think that making money in the financial market is easy, especially in a market full of pitfalls like cryptocurrency . Making money has never been easy, and making money in the cryptocurrency market is even more difficult .

Many lucky people bought bitcoins early and held them until now and they became rich, but I have not seen anyone who became rich through cryptocurrency trading without an outside job.

OP, I agree with what you said but it will be based on how many bitcoin that is in their bitcoin portfolio. If Mr X is worth $2b in his total assets, excluding bitcoin, because he doesn't believe in bitcoin. If Mr Y is worth $1.85b including his bitcoin investment that worth $500m, definitely as long as Mr Y does not sell his bitcoin, in 20yrs time, Mr Y can be 2x worth more than Mr X. This is because his bitcoin investment most have generated a compounding profit, plus the other assets profit. Mr Y total profit will be very big compared to Mr X profit for 20yrs. Any of the top wealthiest people in the world, that has a big worth of bitcoin in his portfolio might end up taking over from the rest and become the number one richest person, as long as bitcoin keeps increasing in value over time.

Who are on the list of richest in the world are always powerful. They can even change anything of a country if they wish.

It can only be possible if the government allows them. No matter how rich a person is, he/she don't have power against the law the law is a respecter of nobody be it class, wealth, influencial or political powers. Except it's a corrupt country that can allow them to change anything. The Change I see they that can be possible is creating employment for the masses and reducing unemployment rate.

They have the power of politics. They may be asked for advice on taking the country forward or on major policies of the country. So we can say they are the most powerful it can be directly or indirectly.

The only reason why government will sick for there attention or concent is that since they are good in their business, government will like to tap or take glance of knowledge in financial management or speaking for loan from them and that does no mean they have Power over everything.

It will not be very difficult to guess who can be the most ahead in this competition in the future world. I have been seeing a lot of rich people collecting bitcoin lately and there is a big competition to collect bitcoin among the recognized rich internationally. Now the day is not so far when the top several company owner all over the world will also be defeated by the BTC holder.

Most of this most wealthy business men you see here at the top have started investing in bitcoin because they have seen the future in Bitcoin. An they have more investment advantage over the top Bitcoin investors like Michael J sailor. Because if Elon Musk decide to use the amount Michael J sailor used in investing bitcoin to invest on his own Bitcoin I believe he still stands the chance to still stand at the top.

Bitcoin is now a weapon with which only he can maintain his power in this space.

The idea that one must be a holder of Bitcoin in order to be considered as one of the world's richest and powerful is something that I may not agree...but also may not disagree. Look Bitcoin is an asset in a digital form and its value has skyrocketed in many years after its inception and if one happened to have invested heavily with BTC years ago then certainly this can propel someone to be rich beyond imagination. However, based on the list above, getting involved with Bitcoin is not enough. There are so many profitable assets out there in the world where one can explore and if successful then one can be so rich. In fact, you need money to get into Bitcoin and you need to work on that money before you would have something to invest. One can even go to politics and get rich in the process...this is certainly so true anywhere we go.

Moreover,the outcome is worth the comparison.The ability of bitcoin to meet the needs of so many person's has really increased with time and people will have no choice but to embrace it.Its just that so long as bitcoin promotes the life of many people with access to more influence and independence,its store of value remains at the top.

Well no, I don't agree, and what you raise in the OP shows that you haven't stopped to do some simple maths. The first one you list, Michael Saylor, has a net worth of 1.6 billion dollars. For him to reach Elon Musk in net worth, the price of bitcoin would have to be multiplied by 142, meaning that each bitcoin would have to be worth 6 million dollars. I don't think I need to explain much more. It should also be borne in mind that the price increase in the coming years will be less accelerated than in the first years of bitcoin's life.

This is precisely why there are people like Warren Buffet and others who don't understand bitcoin and think it is a kind of ponzi, because they don't need it at all to be on the list of the richest people in the world.

Rich is a very relative term.

Most people considered rich have assets and not plenty cash in the bank.....

Like Elon Musk and his Tesla shares

or having paintings worth hundreds of millions

or plenty of bitcoins

or stuff similar to this.



But things can change quickly:

Companies can fail and shares become worthless

Paintings can turn out to be copies

or technologies like Bitcoin based on Blockchain can be replaced by the next new thing....

I would say always good to have a plan B in case plan A is not working as expected.....

That day won't come anytime soon, if it ever does. The people you listed as the richest people in the world are only those who are publicly known for their wealth, and there are those who are not publicly exposed, but possess far greater wealth that was created over generations and is measured in trillions of $.

A question for you - what would the price of 1 BTC have to be for Saylor to overtake Mr. Mars on your list?
