Is yours overclocked? as I get around 2.4 cpd per 290x on claymore's miner, but its heavily overclocked (1220/1275)

maybe this will help

HP13 released! Download links are on the first page. Links point to my own server because SourceForge is being especially slow for me.

Changes:
 * Binaries compiled with OpenSSL 1.0.1g which addresses the Heartbleed vulnerability
 * Faster blockchain download
 * Bonus: Also compiled with GMP 6.0.0a

This is after 23 hours...

...from your screenshot - "Mining time: 25.70 hours"  Tongue  Cool
...though you got quite lucky over there by finding just a single 10-chain in nearly 26 hours, and bam! - already a block  Wink

- according to Primecoin Mining Calculator @ http://anty.info/primecoin-calculator/ -- with CPD of 1.92 -- "You will mine a block every 2.52 days on average! " ...hehehe...

if you guys want to keep finding a block consistently every day, i suggest you guys stop posting and making public here at the forums, otherwise more new GPU miners will raise the diff and your consistently earnings will dissapear faster

That mentality is what keeps you poor! And it actually works quite the opposite in the long run!

This theory is only good for pump and dump coins.  I like primecoin and have been mining it from the start, so I post for benefit of those that appreciate primecoin.  I hope those that are mining primecoin only because it is more profitable than some random p&d coin, move on to something else.

Am I blind or what?  I didn't even see the 290 version of the miner!!
Downloaded and running that now.  I will update with my numbers after it runs a while and stabilizes, but it will be over 7 cpd on 3 x 290x.  There is also a version specified for the 7950 available.

After 25 minutes or so, it seems to have stabilized at 7.2CPD for the 3 cards.  So a bit of an improvement, since I had finally stabilized at around 6.85 on the 280x version.
