how often is the directory updated on bitlist.co? i see primedice is still listed while they have ceased operation a few months ago. Do any of you guys know any other peer to peer marketplaces (meaning for sending and receiving fiat currency) for BTC that aren't listed on BitList/BitMixList?
not sure if it fits what you are looking for, but i came across peer.xyz a while back on twitter. i have not looked into it beyond the info they have on the website, so you would have to do your own research.

I signed up to Bitlist at the course of applying for a campaign. But I noticed that my username appears to be different from others - odd_lemur_6709 (public key). I have been trying to edit it to have my btt username like others but to no avail.

Yes, I believe they've moved to Stake.com instead and completely stopped that Prime Dice, and since Stake.com is present on the Bitlist.co, so it makes sense to delete Primedice from the list now. After visiting the link of Prime Dice, I noticed a message that's enough to suggest users that the platform is not there anymore. Here's the screenshot of the message: So I guess Prime Dice is part of archive now.

That is because you didn't choose your own public id as at the time you were creating your account. That is why you have the public id that the website set for you by default. However, you can edit your public id. Log into your account, click on the 'three lines' at the top, click on your public id, then on the pencil icon beside it and update your profile information. Take note that you are allowed to change your public id only once every 24 hours.

Most services are being updated, now that we added other data like KYC level and features. Primedice already has an active alert about its shutdown. It will be archived when the time comes.

That is because you didn't choose your own public id as at the time you were creating your account. That is why you have the public id that the website set for you by default. That is true. I skipped that step while registering, believing that I will be able to edit it later. I signed up to Bitlist at the course of applying for a campaign. Hi, you can edit your public id on https://bitlist.co/account/editThanks, I didn't know the system is case sensitive. I am able to change the public key now.
I went through the bitlist website and discovered that many projects are listed, such as; Exchanges (both DEXs and CEXs), Mixers, Communities, Casinos, etc I think it would be nice if they are categorized, so that if my interest is o mixers, I can easily select mixer category instead of scrolling and skimming.

Haven't you noticed the big sidebar next to the list, with the option to filter by category?

@TryNinja, I don't know if this problem is known or has been documented yet but in case it hasn't been... here it is; On the home page when one tries to click on any of the tabs of the tracked services. A 500 error appears. For example when I click on Electrum, this is what I see.

Hi there!
@TryNinja & @icopress
Bitlist is indeed a good project that provides a fully secure, trusted, and accessible platform in one place. Whereas the Raffle announcement tool and Post history tool are bonus additions in this tool. That I also like the most. I mean, we have all the needed things at one stop, right?
But I was thinking at the same time, what if Bitlist also started to provide an image hosting tool integrated into it? Like bb and talkimage one? Is that possible? And if this happens, I believe that all BTT users will start to get all the required tools at one stop. This is just a suggestion. Thank you!
Wow, I just noticed that the Team has integrated the image hosting tool in the bitlist project. Now the tool seems more complete. I used the Bitlist website to publish this SS. Good to see this update.

Good to see this update. That's another cool update which's pretty useful for Bitcointalk users. I believe Bitlist is the only platform that offers multiple free tools for crypto users. This site is truly a blessing because we can find and use many tools at a single website. Thumbs up for Bitlist team for such amazing updates, from now on I'll use the Bitlist image upload feature to embed my screenshots here.

Wow, I just noticed that the Team has integrated the image hosting tool in the bitlist project. Now the tool seems more complete. More options are always a good thing, although I'm not sure how good it is to have a centralized place for a set of tools. If anything unexpected happens, server problems, hack... we're left without all those additional tools at the same time.
@TryNinja is it possible to add "height=" attribute with a default value in the BBcode link? Often, the SS we make is huge, so it is necessary to reduce its size due to adjustments in the post.

It's managed by TryNinja and he has managed Ninjastic.space for many years and he knows how to protect the service in the best way possible. When it comes to unexpected things and server problems then those aren't any issue because under TryNinja's management such things will not happen. If I'm not wrong then there must be some protection against hacks as well.

There is no secure system and there is no point in attacking or hacking BitList.co as it provides lists and does not accept deposits. The biggest risk may be that the domain may be blocked in some countries, causing an unpleasant experience if you want to host images through it.

Well, I agree that any system that's on internet isn't 100% secure but some system have higher security than others just like this forum, multiple vulnerabilities have been patched here for many years, and new features were added in many years which original SMF doesn't offer. I believe BitList is secure enough to host and control images and it's not blocked in any country as far as I know. Since this is not a website where someone has to deposit money that's why we should not fear from any hacks.

A site doesn't have to have a deposit option or anything like that to be a target of attacks. Altcoinstalks is just a forum, so the admin struggles to defend it from constant attacks. I remember even bitmover's bitcoindata.science was once under attack, although it only had a few tools on it. So, what is the reason for the DDoS attack on it? As for site security, services like X, which have a huge budget and the best server resources, often go down.

Well, you're also right I guess but Altcoinstalks got attacked because it allows mixers to advertise on the forum and we all know that such privacy services are disliked by many people. I know the admin of that forum has done a lot to keep it online and now users don't face CF issues at that forum either. I'm not sure much about DDoS protection of BitList but at least I know that it's a site looked by TryNinja who has managed Ninjastic.space for many years and such a person know how to protect a platform against attacks. I wish that BitList should always be protected by the negative ones who use DDoS attacks to take good services down. If such a thing happens then CF protection is the only solution but that slows down a website.

Even TalkImg has been attacked! I'm not going to defend theories of separation, but at the time, the sequence of events that allegedly led to this attack leads me to believe that sometimes attacks arise from other interests, and not the objective of directly stealing something from the site.

What are you talking about? The other directory run by forum members as well got attacked sometime back, kycnot.me which is also a directory, got attacked sometime back. The motive could be financial (competitor) or not financial (haters of privacy) Also if attackers could manage to gain access to the internals of the website or servers, they can publish their phishing links since they think most members trust the site
