The network tries to produce one block per 10 minutes. It does this by automatically adjusting how difficult it is to produce blocks.

Thanks. Let us know when you're done. I will post it in the thread. AND, AS MENTIONED, we give a "big" bounty to one who do the first pool (will publish later today).

Can you see something showing up in Transactions (history)? If none, maybe wait for a longer time.

CharityMiningPools - Donate to Charity while you Mine! mgc.charityminingpools.comMandatory 0.5% donation fee goes to the BitGive Foundation this month. We welcome and encourage you to donate more to a good cause. SSL, STRATUM, VARDIFF, Datacenter Redundant Server Farm, Load Balanced Servers, Frequent Backups, DDOS Protection 0.5% Mandatory Donation fee to a Good Cause, 0.5% Pool Fees Who Are We?CharityMiningPools was created to allow miners the ability to mine coins while still knowing that their hashing power is going towards something good. Our goal is to provide a positive and reliable service while delivering a small portion of the proceeds to a deserving recipient. Plans are in the works to allow individual miners to choose where they would like to donate to based on a pool of available recipients. How Does This Work? All coins minded at CharityMiningPools will require a mandatory 0.5% Donation fee. This donation fee will be collected and donated to the designated charitable recipient for that given month. Though we only require a minimum 0.5% Donation fee, we welcome and encourage our miners to raise the stakes and donate more to a good cause. Cheers! CharityMiningPools

Can this mined via the wallet (CPU) while mining other currency with GPUs? If so how to do so will not crash my system? Is my understanding when doing this that one core needs to be left to the GPU mining?
Thanks

setgenerate true # (# being the number of cores you want to mine with, this is how all wallets operate, I have an 8 core CPU, so generally when I CPU mine I use "setgenerate true 4" to mine with 4 of my 8 cores)

I assumed it was a false positive... it is a wallet with a built in bitcoin miner after all

Thanks Jarod! On the virus thing.......I was thinking the same, but am a newbie so just wanted to check:-)
Edit.......got it working on 7 of my 8 cores along with CGminer. Don't use this PC so am trying to get away with 7 instead of half of them. So far all good:-)

How long do ya think this coin will be good to mine with CPU? Is it normal to see nothing after 2 hours of solo mining with 3600 hashespersecond?
