Airdrops are a great way to earn profit without even putting out your own money of course some airdrops will require you to do some tasks (other might require you to donate a few amount but be careful with those)

Most people just participate in all and every airdrop projects they see because most of those would not really have value anyway but if one is lucky enough and they were able to see profits from an airdrop then a congratulations is in order

I don't exactly remember the name but back than, airdrop meaning was a coin gift you get just by providing your wallet address and there were multiple airdrops that gave $5, 10 or 20 without any issue and fees too were so low that you could do a swap and an transfer below 50 cents. They used to happen mostly in twitter, through project website, google forms or this forum. The largest I remember was worth $100.
I did applied to many binance airdrops but never checked the results, there used to be random coins allocated but none were of significant value.

People are benefiting a lot from airdrop and the main reason is that if you find a right guide who will guide you in this way then you can earn a lot of money from airdrop. But there is such a thing that you have to not connect your wallets with fake websites, then you will get a lot of benefit. 1. No for a long time. This year will be the time where I will participate in airdrops again.

2. The most recent one which is the DYM (Dymension) airdrop. Right now, the price of it at Coinmarketcap is around 4$. That's only an IOU, but base on the past coins that has an IOU, the price of the coin when mainnet launch is near it's price when it's still an IOU so I expect that the price of the token when mainnet launch is at least 4$. I got around 69 tokens on that airdrop which is pretty low compared to other people, but getting it for free just by staking ATOM token, I will not complain on it. It's $276 worth of free money. Who will complain about that?

3. None and TBH, I don't usually have that much expectation when it comes to airdrops because some projects let you participate in their testnet phase, but in the end, you will only get a few coins. Some projects let you bridge ETH or whatever coin it is to their own blockchain, but in the end, they will give you tokens that worth less than 10$. My expectations towards airdrop isn't that high, and I don't think that it will ever change my position.

Jupiter's airdrop turned out to be pretty good because aside from the JUP token, those who got the token also got a meme coin called WEN as well. This year, I will try to participate to as much airdrops as possible, and it might cause me some few bucks especially when you need to make a transaction thru bridging, but I want to do it.

I just checked my ERC 20 wallet and I have recieved over 20 airdrops all that are completetly worthless lmao. As far as i know airdrop rewards are not predictable and you wouldn't know what the outcome could be, there are numerous stories that attracts people to join airdrops but sometimes we have to also consider the security of our wallets. I have gotten a really good profit from manta only by bridging some of my ETH to it. Many people were not happy about their reward distribution methods, but its all free money at the end, and you didn't lose anything by joining the airdrop so there was nothing to complain about. I saw some people get TIA and PYTH which also gave handsome profits. Zeta and Jup was also good but their rewards wasn't that lucrative like manta and TIA. They both did really well.

It was a really worrying time with Bitcoin & all the drama around it but remembering back now, we all got a lot of free money out of it by simply holding Bitcoin. I was part of the ICP airdrop which helped in a time when I was busy applying airdrops. If I remember it correctly it was in 2018 when I subscribed to their airdrop which became controversial when their intermediary an online wallet provider was charging $10 to become a recipient of their airdrop. I do not remember the name of the intermediatory as it has been a long now, what I do remember is that the first airdrop after listing was valued at $500 and subsequently, it came down to $50 in 12 months. The airdrop was designed so that you receive an equal number of tokens every month for 12 months which was okay for me as it was free money.

Yes, there was a time when you could cherish the airdrop you get. Now, it is not worth it as it has many more obligations such as a user would need to first invest money to qualify for it. These days you need to use "De-Fi" projects to meet the airdrop requirements. Some projects even require you spend or trade a certain amount in crypto to receive rewards. While stricter requirements are good to keep airdrop farmers away, they often leave the "average Joe" out of the picture. Especially when you need to spend money to participate. If you really want to make money, I'd suggest you look for other options. Who knows if airdrops become history due to increasing regulations in the crypto sector?

My experience of taking part in air drops is quite good but I don't get it more often than I get the first air drop that I got was a combo airdrop on the Combo Network. I got USD worth of tokens for around 120$ which was good enough for me when my position was a bit down and I really needed money to participate. Wherever there is opportunity, there are abusers. Project teams also struggled to find ways to detect cheaters with new barriers and new tasks, such as needing to spend transaction fees or add LP. I believe that genuine airdrop hunters will still be rewarded for their efforts.

Currently we are welcoming DeFi summer, many new projects in re-staking field have appeared and are very successful. If I holder till now the price would be 3600$.

Well all of the airdrops I did get in the past were not very big. But there is a new airdrop that I am following called Wormhole.

That’s exactly how it goes most times. The way you narrate it, they scammed investors of their money and the only reason they had the airdrop was because it will make it seem like a real project so they can add weight to the trust before finally scamming people. Just reduce your expectations and you wouldn’t be disappointed that much if it failed.

Only a small number of hunters received the airdrop reward, you are not the only one who did not receive the reward, so please consider this as normal. But last 15 days is a big payment from airdrop campaign I attended there was an airdrop in bybit event. Airdrop campaign said they will give 40 mavia of mavia protocol I joined that Airdrop campaign and traded 100$ equivalent on bybit exchange then they paid after 5-7 days and I got 40 mavia worth $230. This $230 is the biggest airdrop campaign I've ever made.

I joined, did some tasks for about a week, and earned $3,500 (yes, I sold at the peak of that coin's price). Congratulations! Arbitrum had an impressive airdrop in 2023, enough to make many airdrop hunters happy and many others regretful. I am in the latter group because I didn't care enough about the airdrop because I didn't believe in new projects using new technology like Optimistic Rollups. I hope that when the halving happens, many new and potential projects will be introduced and we will have many opportunities to receive big rewards from their airdrops.

The UniSwap airdrop was one of the most famous airdrops in the 2021 uptrend, and it was worth around 1K USD at the time of the reward distribution to UniSwap users. That's indeed huge especially for only just an airdrop. I also hunt and join lots of airdrops in the past but most that I get are only under 5 or 10 dollars. Like you I haven't heard of that project he is talking about except Icerock Mining. I remember it because it also has a rock word on it and then it was also being promoted heavily in the forum before, however the rewards being given by them might only be minimal.

I think the most important thing when participating in an airdrop is to determine whether the project has real potential. If the project has a good solution, a professional team, and support from many large investment funds, then it is absolutely worth hunters pursuing. Conversely, they are not worth our effort even if the rewards are attractive, because scammers can come up with anything out of thin air, such as rewarding each hunter with 1M tokens worth 1M USD in the future if they follow the project's Twitter account.

I can call this FOMO because of Airdrop! Airdrop is really attractive because hunters don't need to invest cash, they just need to try to follow and support the project and have the opportunity to receive thousands of USD, even millions of USD. However, that is only a few and appeared in the media, the majority of hunters are not so lucky, they only earn a few USD or nothing for their efforts.

We can completely minimize the risk in airdrop by finding and supporting really good projects, with potential solutions and large investment funds. You should understand the difference between airdrops, which are sometimes paid by the team for social media activities, and a retrospective airdrop, in which early users of the network receive a reward that is not agreed in advance. I also understand this, currently most of the biggest airdrops are retro-airdrops because they are really useful for the development of the project by providing liquidity, verifying the stability and security of the network and protocol. Retro-airdrop hunters have really put in a lot of effort, and they deserve rewards worth thousands of USD, even more if they can hold tokens until the market reaches the top of the uptrend.

The arbitrum airdrop was very rewarding to many people that participated in it and I am very sure that similar airdrops like this would be available soon just like the ones we have been seeing on crypto social media. I have participated in few and they are rewarding for me but I can't really know which one was quite a big opportunity for me to might have participated. Participating in airdrops can be rewarding for us if we know how to go about it.

I dont know maybe 300$ that is the biggest I got probably from the crypto airdrop bounty is around 2K max tho today I also looking good airdrop but never touch like K with triple zero I hope this year I earn more from crypto airdrop. The airdrop is different with you buy some memecoin and turned 1K into million airdrop is a task and you get paid from it.
