Nope, not really. Meta is a section of the forum that discusses happenings in the forum. It's not about Bitcoin per se.

I ain't sure anyone would want to do that if you didn't infringe or break any rule in the forum. If your thread is locked, it could be that mods thought it redundant or off topic. You shouldn't take that to heart. Learn from it and move on. Again, one of the things you should learn first week of being here is that the forum doesn't tolerate anyone claiming to be Satoshi. Anything of such or similar to that is sacrilegious here.

I'm assuming we have a new Satoshi Nakamoto wannabe on the forum, they always bring comedy when they stumble on this forum and start posting.

To use your example of enjoying music as an analogy to free speech, you're free to enjoy that but you still have to understand not everyone likes or enjoys the music that you're listening to so the best thing that you can do is to be considerate to those that don't want to hear your music, you're free to play that but you have to respect those that don't want to hear that music.

I have gone through op post history and I must say there is every possibility for some of his topic/post to be deleted and locked because he is posting out of context and if those post doesn't make any meaning then mod or admin has to wipe them off or can be locked.
Sometimes we need to be rational enough on what we are posting here, giving much work to mod is really heavy on them so we should try as much as possible to reduce some form of spam post.

Not only him, including others of his likes, if they escape the members report on their post, then will definitely not escape the hands of the moderators by deleting their posts, I will also applaud as many of the active members who always get into this, reporting such post to the moderators whenever one is sighted, people needs to learn how to go by rules and not how they feels like doing this, this is one of the reasons why this forum is top rated with high reputation because it is well moderated.

Saw from LoyceV what you're talking about and I must say, you kinda had it coming with those weak-ass posts lol.

Forum's come far from the Satoshi Nakamoto-centric posts and the ones that you have made in regards to this thread you created are just a little too weak to my tastes. Initially I thought you had your own thread locked cause you already got your answers but I guess you just got your thread locked cause it was way too elementary. Next time, focus more on creating worthwhile content that are thought-provoking, or perhaps don't create posts at all if you couldn't do that.

It doesn't take a rocket scientist to create constructive and smart posts anyway, just conduct your own researches, all it takes is a single search on google and it shouldn't take you a while after to find really compelling crypto-related topics that doesn't just involve Satoshi Nakamoto's identity cause it's all been established that he's not gonna show up now or ever. He's living his own life now having fun with the billions he inadvertently made . Invest in knowledge, create constructive posts, and I'd bet you your sweet bippy that you won't get your posts locked next time.

Good thing I searched for an issue similar to mine and not creating a thread
The thing is my Thread was locked without my notice and was surprised to see it today
Was curious the reason it was locked
It's stated it was done by an admin and can't be unlocked(felt like touching the unlock button)


Truth is am not used to locking thread
I was of the notion that the traffic would fade and everybody would move on

Bitcoin talk is a very reputable forum that usually regulate every content or discussion that isn't adding value to the platform. If your topic was locked or deleted that means it is a low effort post and is probably going to only make shit posters to comment rubbish. Don't take it serious, this platform allows every member to speak freely but there are other things that can be frown at such as spamming and shitposting despite that freedom of speech is allowed.
