What do you think about this financial advice from a self acclaimed crypto investment professional telling newbies not to consider investing in the top 100 cryptos of which bitcoin is included, if they want to make profit?

In most cases some of these self-professed crypto gurus no nothing about the crypto space. Such kind of advice has some hidden agenda. The next phase is to introduce his followers to a worthless shitcoin that he is involved in and scam them of their Investment. Only uninformed newbies will consider taking such a bit of advice because the majority of the coins that are below the 100 mark are all scam projects that collapse within a short period. This is the reason why I don't follow this so-called expert on any social media platform because I know that most of them are out there to make a profit and not to assist as they cliam to be doing.

You've more chances to make bigger multiplier but you've also more chances to lose your money, so on the overall you've not more chances to make profit. Well dont buy when they keep shilling it probably they have a huge bag and keep selling it by agressive marketing and once they reached their target price they would in unload their stock and dump the price. Most influencers are likely to shill their bags and when everybody buying already thats where they sold their shares.
