I think we can not make one overall picture of comparison past and current casinos. It depends from the country a lot. I have noticed OP mentioned 90s in his post. For example if we take Russia in 90s and country today, it is two completely different countries. Even though ~30 years isnt much in worlds history. Yes, I think this is one of the main factors why most gamblers were forced to change their way of gambling. Covid-19. I can still remember how boring it was at home and I had not been using a gambling site when the pandemic hit.
