For top 10, I think it's possible even though the possibility is quite small, AVAX need to compete with Solana and LTC at the very least, and also other emerging coin like Polkadot and Shiba. It's the Top DeFi coin anyway, one of only few DeFi project that actually works, so I think they got potential.

Be careful about this one. This looks like a scam to me plus I check the Avax community (e.g their Twitter accounts) for airdrops posts but I haven't found a single post related to it. You are not a new member here anymore, so I am sure that you are aware that Avalanche is not a new project anymore to conduct an airdrop.

Usually, it was only the newer projects who does that. That is because it is part on promoting their project. Despite of being an old project, I still see Avalanche sometimes in Twitter ads. I think they only do that, if they have a new development and it is still a great initiative to attract new people in crypto to check their project.

Personally I think this project will be a good buy in the future, but unlikely this year. I'd probably be a buyer around $4, as that's where most of the accumulation is and would be the usual 97%-98% retracement for a coin that does 50-100x in it's first cycle (like ETH did). Right now it doesn't look good with a big volume gap between $10 and $5, so breaking recent support should see another capitulation happen.

Against BTC it's a bit more obvious how bearish price is right now. It's been consistently making new lows over the past month or so and isn't even oversold yet on Weekly time-frame. This is more reflective of Bitcoin's general increasing market dominance this year, as opposed to specifically AVAX's failings of any kind, but regardless I don't think this will be a good buy until sometime next year.

Possibility against the dollar it could bottom out this year, but think it will take another year to bottom out against Bitcoin as is only down around 80% so far, whereas around 90%+ is more likely.

AVax is EVM Chain compatible and chain like this is very popular because their capabilities of deploying smart contract. This coin and other evm chains like Aurora from near ftm or arbitrum and polygon has dozen of potential and has of lot use case.

and since this is price movement Im gonna share my chart and now the price of the Avax is at a huge discount 90% from the ATH although on daily candle still at below 200 EMA and lot of resistance there

I honestly do not understand purpose of so many evm chains, including Avax. Most of them pop-up because of congestion problem on Ethereum, meanwhile these same chains also get congested when they see bit of activity.

Scalability: These chains generally offer the ability to process more transactions in less time, eliminating congestion issues.

Low Fees: With greater capacity, transaction fees can be lower than on a full main network.

New Features: Some new chains add new features, different smart contracts and other technical capabilities that may not be possible to implement on the main network.

it is also explained there that everyone is just trying to imitate the ethereum network and create other alternative networks to avoid congestion on the main network but that will not be very effective because security vulnerabilities will definitely still occur like bugs and others, while for avalanche, some investors believe in the team the developers so they are confident about the future of the avalanche network as well as the avax token.

You know alt season is close when you see more and more of these older alt price speculation threads get bumped by the people who started them.    Makes me happy.

But as for the chart...  Doesn't look that good as of now.    But def worthy to start putting it in the watchlist with the the other L1's.  I'd expect the newer L1's and L2's like ARB and OP to lead the alt market trend tho.

Well the $3 Million security exploit is not stopping Avak. After doing a security audit the social media dApp called Stars Arena is going to reopen soon on Avalanche.

the problem of network disruption is often something that disturbs investors in trusting an asset. With incidents like this, hopefully developers will pay more attention to updates from the Avalanche network.

Prominent layer-1 blockchain and Ethereum (ETH) rival Avalanche (AVAX) has suffered a five-hour network outage.

According to Avalanche data-tracking platform Avalanche Status, the blockchain went through an outage that prevented blocks from being accepted on its primary network.

i found a pretty interesting discussion about this token on YouTube....what do you think about this project, do you think that this year AVAX will be in the top 10!  and does this have the potential to be used?  

Avalanche is highly centralized. In fact it's far more centralized altcoin than XRP. But XRP's use case is acting as a bridge between TradFi and DeFi. I would not touch Avalanche for long-term speculation. Short term trades are okay for me.
