That's how gambling is, if you play carelessly your money will disappear in an instant, not just minutes but seconds. I personally have never been caught in a situation like this, because I only bet on the amount I am prepared to lose. By applying this to gambling activities that I often do, this really helps me avoid feelings of regret at the end of the game. Because we never know what might happen at the end of the game, gambling is full of uncertainty and surprises. Where at the end of the game we can win surprisingly and get a big win, which can replace the defeat we experienced in the previous session, and we could have just lost. However, it is important for us to pay attention, that the possibility of losing is always greater than winning, therefore, only bet appropriately and it would be better if we were able to limit the maximum budget we spend on gambling, so that the losses we experience will not be a deep regret. And when someone regrets and feels disappointed with the final betting result, then there are only two possibilities: Someone who is wise enough will definitely reflect on this and use it as a lesson for better and more responsible gambling, while someone who is stupid enough will go back to digging through his wallet again to make crazier bets than before.
You would really be breaking things and this is something that would be commonly see into those gamblers who do rage up. We do know that this is something that really common. Amount lost based on the video is indeed already big and just like the rest been saying that this is almost a year of salary on your day job. Imagining on losing it out on 2 minutes then that would surely be a disaster but of course you wont really be that making those huge bets if you arent that financially capable as if you do have that balance then it would really be just that understandable that you would really be having that kind of betting behavior on which i could say that it would really be just that getting in line in speaking about your capability.

*I created this topic on the other forum just recently and I would also like to share it here so we can exchange ideas based on your own opinion.
I saw this video on social media just recently wherein a famous local influencer here in my country loses more than $4,000 dollars in just 2 minutes.
Even with a rich guy gambling, still has this regret he just made, so how much more for an average guy to take the risk of spending his hard earned money just to gamble?
Have you experienced this kind of situation wherein you spend huge amount of money and then regret after the loss? Is your reaction the same with that guy on the video?
There's no need to have any sympathy for this person for so many reasons. First off, if this person really is in the big leagues as an "influencer" then this is pure pocket money for them and they often use these controversial videos to drum up even more viewers in the future, each viewer is direct or indirectly funding these sort of excesses. The fact that he has $4k to throw at a casino would suggest that he is doing reasonably well and if he's sensible, should take it as a lesson to backup in future and stay in whatever lane made him successful at the beginning. People that jump into new fields, if this is not his regular situation, often make large mistakes because the misinterpret the odds, he's just done it on a larger scale than most.

This is akosidogie, who's a known ML streamer and coach. He's rich because of how long he's been in the industry and has been a pro player before too. With so much sponsorship, I don't think that really has hurt his pocket that much but I know in our country, losing that in 2 minutes with that amount is already a lot as it can buy a lot of things already. He's broken his keyboard and used it to stomp onto his PC table and that's showing a genuine reaction of how frustrated he was. I don't know if it's intentional or not because he know that he's going to make it viral. But in today's social media presence in our country, many of them are not just influencers but also online casino endorsers.

It's a shame I can't watch the video anymore, after all gambling is a risky thing, those who gamble should prepare themselves to accept all kinds of losses in the future. So far the most I've lost is only around $1000 and even within 2 hours, I can't imagine what I would feel if I were in that man's position, I would definitely be very frustrated.

It's very much disappointing to see people make careless bets even with the high level of awareness in the society about gambling and risk taking on gambling. If the influencer lost over $4k it's not supposed to be much a big deal for him because every big influencer has enough money to promote themselves by gambling and acting as if they are frustrated in the video. What I'm saying in essence is the video has been repeated by him the influencer losing money and acting so frustrated that could also be a way of teaching the audience.
But if truly he lost then chasing hid lost shouldn't be an option for him because it will lead to more losses.

Losing is part of gambling and in fact, for the presence of house edge, we may experience more losses than wins, so we have to settle down with that mindset before we set out to gamble because when we gamble, we are taking risks and we should already settle within our mind that we may lose all or some of our money along the way.
That is why we always advise one another to only gamble with an amount that you can afford to lose and still be comfortable with, in the case of this influencer, the gambler may have hard a taste of what others have been going through with gambling which is not a guarantee winning for all regardless is involved.

It's funny to see gambling influencers be angry about their losses when it's only themselves that got th themselves in this situation. They signed up for an account, put their money in and eventually even started streaming to everyone...
But also at this age where everyone has too much information to digest, it's hard to trust such things. Was this a stunt? Most likely. What streamer gambles with his own money these days? Maybe a wannabe? But we know most streamers are funded by the casino they play in anyway so I don't know what's the matter with all that.

Man it's Show, these "kids" have taken American examples, $4000 dollars for him can mean something like maybe a few subs that watch his videos. In the world of High roller, the amounts of money that are burned are indigent, in any case what needs to be is not give them publicity in the way that OP does. You want to see genuine shows (or not) of outbursts of anger, follow this guy, he is the king.

Ouch! Must've hurt him.
Never. I will never ever make a bet this high or spend that kind of large amount. My highest loss was $40 and that's it. The accumulated loss in a week is $70 and after that, I didn't even try to bet for a couple of days. It just hurt me so bad because that's still important money for me that I also worked hard for. And I think I will never go that far again next time. I like to just play and have fun gambling so most of the time I just go back and forth with my balance. In a week, I can make $30 just to play through and I will still have a good amount at the end of that week.
I have not watched that famous influencer but I am guessing he may have tried to chase his losses in just one game. I did that before but not anymore. Whenever I see a losing streak, I play other games, reset my browser, or change my server seed, somehow it's working and I am getting a winning streak after doing that. It's like the RTP is clicking and it wants to give back what I loss.

For me, he is a bad influencer, he has 8 million followers it's like teaching your followers that it's ok to waste that huge amount of money, so many influencers in my country are into promoting casinos, but this influencer is not promoting casino but he is a bettor in a casino, he was exposed as someone who can waste that huge money in a country where the minimum wage is only $12 daily, and he shows his true character by smashing the keyboard when he lose, he is a sore loser and that makes him a bad influencer.

the video you included is no longer available. but coming to that, $4k is a lot of money and losing it so quickly in just 2 minutes is something that many people don't want. but maybe because he is a famous influencer, the loss may not have a significant impact because he earns quite a lot from streaming, but from his reaction it shows that it hit him quite hard.
maybe for some viewers this is entertainment for them, but it is not wise to show something like that to viewers because it shows irresponsible gambling behavior.
Right. When influencers show off big losses from gambling without talking about the risks, it makes it look cool but it's not responsible. People might copy that without realizing the downsides. Content creators should be careful not to glamorize risky stuff and instead encourage smart choices especially when it comes to money. It's about having fun without promoting financial mistakes

$4000 in just 2 minutes for sure is a lot of money especially if the United States dollar is the equivalent of 1-2 years of the minimum wage here lost it in just 2 minutes would be frustrating but from there you can see that he might don't have a gambling budget.
But you gonna see a lot of it people with big gambling in platform like kick.com yesterday I saw people who put 10K on a single bet in blackjack in Stake.com platform what a crazy right but the balance he got is 400K some people are just crazy to put a lot of money in gambling but who know right

$4000 is sure a lot of money in some corners of the world or in other countries on which this isnt an amount that you could really be able to get or could be able to obtain so easily. If you do tend to look at that guy, i dont see that he dont have a gambling budget, he wont really be able to bet up that big if he knows that it was his last drop of cash or balance. This is how gambling works and loses is really always that inevitable or next in line. You win some you lose some. If you are lucky then you would be ending up smiling but if not then you would be in rage in the end of the day. If you dont like to see yourself this way then better stop gambling. Even myself cant imagine on losing $4k in 2 minutes and this is something an amount that i cant be able to save up even my entire life. Therefore, seeing these numbers and just losing it by someone just like that then even myself would definitely burst out. hahaha

I assume that you're a Filipino and I got to tell you that that's not the biggest amount that I've seen that was lost by some gambler influencer, there's this businessman the goes by the name of BigboyCheng that plays blackjack and 100k is a peanuts to him and he plays 3 to 4 blackjack tables and can lose those tables most of the time. It's really crazy when you see these money being lost to gambling but for them, it's nothing really and that streamer's probably making more money than he's lost in that gamble.

Losing more than $4000 in 2 minutes is a big loss for a gambler, whether he is an influencer or just an ordinary gambler where that amount of money would be very valuable in some developing countries. Maybe he should really introspect himself so he can find out that he has made a big mistake by using that much money to gamble. But if the money comes from the casinos he uses to provide spectacle to his followers, hmm that's not a loss but it's just an attention grabber. Actually the audience can learn from what they see from the influencer so that they don't have that bad experience. Just imagine if there was an ordinary gambler who used that much money and lost. That will definitely make him unable to sleep at night heheh Of course we must be able to prevent large losses by always limiting our gambling. We can use enough money to gamble but don't overdo it.

Have you experienced this kind of situation wherein you spend huge amount of money and then regret after the loss? Is your reaction the same with that guy on the video?
Was it all done just for content created for his followers? if he was a gambler who understands gambling, I don't think his reaction should be that bad, maybe a mistake was made but he should have known the risks. it's possible that the expression he showed was disappointment at what he did that resulted in losing so much money in a short time. Even if it's a gambler who just plays for fun, they haven't gotten the pleasure of playing in just a short time. there was regret.

I know that streamer; he is primarily a streamer for a mobile game, but suddenly he starts streaming his gambling games, and I also saw this video before it was even posted in this forum. You see, losing that kind of money is no joke; losing that kind of money will certainly make you insane, but before he initiates that bet, it feels like he just lets it all out, meaning he risks it all and just waits for the result, but unexpectedly, the result will be his loss. For that streamer, it's not a common story or situation for a gambler; it shows why many gamblers are becoming desperate because they are making a bet or gamble without knowing what the result might be. The thing is, many viewers or netizens are making this a joke without noticing that someone of young age might do what the streamer does. I don't defy gambling; it's just that social media should have censorship when it comes to young people who are using social media.

Yes, it could just be content that is intentionally or unintentionally created to trigger lots of people to visit the video. Such losses for small gamblers may already be very large. but for gamblers who are used to playing with large funds, I think this is something normal. They are used to gambling and I think losing is a normal thing and is very possible for gamblers to experience. unless the influencer reveals that they entered the nominal amount incorrectly in their bet. perhaps he was surprised and regretful when he lost a larger amount of money than he thought.

Even with a rich guy gambling, still has this regret he just made, so how much more for an average guy to take the risk of spending his hard earned money just to gamble?
There are many gamblers may regret for a short period of time due to loss. But I don't regret gambling losses ever since I realized. I know that if I lose today I will win tomorrow or if I win tomorrow may lose the day after. But here, if I persevere patiently, I can certainly hope that at some point I will be lucky enough to win big. There is no certainty of winning in gambling and it should not be considered as a source of income, so we should not expect more from gambling. I would like to mention a few reasons why I do not regret losing in gambling. #Regret of gambling losses affects my subsequent gambling. I may be hampered there in making relatively appropriate decisions.
#Regret will never bring back my victory.
#Regret can make me physically sick.
# cause of regretting my personal appearance may come across as something negative to people.

This is the update he just won 200k pesos he's lucky to recover the money that he lost just the other day if he happens to lose this game that's almost half a million, this is a high-risk habit betting I know that some influencers are making money from their contents but they need to save some of their earnings and not divest it to gambling, he is a high roller gamblers and he has the habit of betting huge amount he will end up losing everything you cannot beat casinos, your luck will soon run out, and for someone who lives in a third world country its hard to make money because of the inflation. I hope this influencer will change his way he is leading his followers to gambling as an easy way to make money.
