I was an advocate of this (gambling solely for fun and nothing else) but honestly, I've changed my mind, it is wrong to believe that people will spend all of their hard earned money on gambling just for them to have fun, very wrong believe if you ask me.
There are several games people can play for free for fun's sake, there are video games that are way more interesting and fun to play than any slot or casino game, there are also some really good betting games that are far more intriguing to play than sports betting, what exactly do you think make slot games, Casino games, and even sports betting so interesting that people would want to spend their money on it just to have fun? I think it's quite simple to say that if gambling is a place to make money or a get rich quick scheme then surely there have been many gamblers in the past who have succeeded in achieving wealth in their lives? I think so, but I have never heard that the richest person in the world is a gambler.

It is very hard for gamblers to make up their minds to only gamble for fun and not for money. If they only need fun then there are so many computer games where they can get better entertainment with no loss of money. The essence of gambling is to risk money in order to loss or gain money. It’s always important to set limits and focus on the entertainment aspect. If you have a balanced approach to gambling, then even a loss won't take the fun mood. No one gambles for fun and money plays a major role in gambling. However, there is a big difference in the purpose of earning money. If there was no money in gambling no one would gamble it is true as one can say that everyone gambles for money. But there are many who only care about their income from gambling. Enjoying the game we play is certainly part of the fun we get and this of course only applies to those who have funds that they can afford to risk and do not make them emotional when they do not win their bets, but for those who use the last funds of course they hope to get lucky to win their bets and it is possible that they in betting become emotional and uncontrollable in placing bets.

Gambling has different meanings entirely and different perspective on how everyone See's it too, you can decide to take it as a source of income while another person it's seeing it as fun, another person too is seeing it in another way but necessary gambling is far beyond that and every gambler should understand that as well,and when you want to get on with that you should take note of your dealings,Basically the two aspects is okay for me but have a trace of your gambling habits in order to be far from addiction. hahaha, well looking at it in a clear sense gambling is really for winning like majority of gamblers plays with the mindset they will win but the reason why it is considered as a kinda fun is just so that people will not look at it as a means of business or income since the risk of losing is always higher than winning. Sometimes i do also have that thought if we should really lose money just to have fun when we can literally take other things that won't cause us pain as a means of having fun because no matter how we pretend to gamble for fun but there is this feelings of disappointment when we gamble and lose. I don't think making a minimum bet is really enough to feel the excitement.  Maybe on slot machines where you're just trying to get the rush of getting to a bonus round of some kind.  I think for me personally though, I need to at least have a couple dollars on the line.  I'd like to know at the very least that if I win a bet while I'm watching a game, my burger is going to be paid for.  Although I do get a certain level of enjoyment out of betting a few cents on a 26 leg parlay and hoping to make a million dollars.
