On one hand we definitely could get rid of the people who spam and push SEO strategies like that in here, cause it's not gonna work unless we interact with them, deeming these tactics useless and forcing these fucking clowns to look for other ways to actually gather their new audiences, perhaps even better and more natural ways if I do say so myself.
The question is; do they stop if they are given no attention? No, they don't, and it's not a single user creating multiple threads but it's a bunch of new accounts being created and then with those accounts, creating new threads throughout the day covering the whole section with their forced advertisements. That's why I thought a restriction or something could help reduce that spam.
On the other hand however, people easily overlooking these exploitative parts of the spectrum in favor of their peace of mind may put the whole forum in Jeopardy for the newbie audiences. Cause more people not seeing these kinds of posts would mean less reports about them coming into the Mods' radars, when that happens these posts can stay for longer and might victimize those that aren't really savvy with how the forum works or how the crypto industry operates.
That could be a part of the problem because as you mentioned, newbies in the industry and the forum don't always have their concepts clear for a lot of things. They can easily become victims of scams in case the projects being promoted are scams which is probably the case because a proper project would have a budget for marketing purposes as well.
