You guys are right, women gambles in every part of the world, we only have their numbers in limited supply, females don't tend to have the ability of spending more money on gambling like men do, they will instead prefer using their money for an investment or something they could see being tangible than affording to loose their money to gambling, women can also city if they see a huge lost on their bet while men can afford to take risk and still loses without being worried.

In my opinion, having more women gambling is something worrisome to me. I know many have tried to associate all of these kind of discussions to religion and religious beliefs, while I will also take that into account, that's not just the only reason why I don't seem to be comfortable with having more women flooding the gambling industry.

It is quite different in my country because most women are not gambling. Not to sound sexist on this topic, but there are several reasons that could lead to this...

• Probably person grew up in a home were the adults
  are known gamblers and picked up on that..
• it could be that the lads are not marrying and she is out there to socialise and maybe find love, not everyone has a motive to gamble and win $$$
• Might be gambling to make money
• Gambling out of boredom
• Gambling of women could  be that they want to tag along where hubby is going and fear of him entertaining other girls etc

Gambling has no limitations of which sex gambles, because  AFAIK it could be discriminatory and could get the casino's in trouble, so their money, time their rules.

Even with other hobbies and work that men do, women can do it now and it's normal for it to happen, especially with the different eras where the economy is getting worse and as a family, we need all the help we can get financially.

Now when it comes to gambling, those who work can certainly entertain themselves after being stressed at their jobs, and since women nowadays are also working a ton, I think they deserve to get some relief and if it's through gambling then so be it as long as they are responsible enough to stop and not crossing the line of chasing losses.
