Electrum Wallet Help/Bitcoin SV

Hi all, this is my first experience with anything Bitcoin. I used Changely to swap XRP for BitcoinSV and had the funds sent to one of my electrum wallet addresses that I pulled from the application. The transaction is showing successful on the block explorer, but when I go to my wallet I cannot find my BSV anywhere. How can I access and move my funds from this wallet. I am using my ledger nano as a signer and have no problem accessing, but simply cannot find the funds. I even clicked on the wallet address in Electrum and nothing pops up. Any advice would be truly appreciated. Here is my wallet info and address and the transaction hash.

If you are using Bitcoin Electrum wallet then you won't see any balance in your wallet because you sent a BitcoinSV Electrum only support Bitcoin and no other crypto.

I don't think this one will work but try to install an ElectrumSV check this one below then make a wallet there with your Ledger.

You probably mistakenly confused the Bitcoin SV (BSV) shitcoin with the real Bitcoin (BTC). The official version of the Electrum wallet you downloaded from Electrum.org does not support shitcoins, only Bitcoin.

As BitMaxz suggested, you can try to recreate your wallet (using the same seed) with a forked version of Electrum software that has been modified for BSV.

For the record: you still have zero experience with anything Bitcoin. BSV is not Bitcoin. It's a Bitcoin Fork with the shittiest wallet. Get rid of it while you still can, and buy real Bitcoin instead.

You're showing a Legacy address. Electrum creates Segwit addresses by default. That means you can't accidentally do what you did.

I downloaded the wallet from Electrum.org.

Electrum from electrum.org is a wallet only for Bitcoin (BTC). You probably need to download ElectrumSV and import private key/seed from Electrum to ElectrumSV.

Bitcoin and Bitcoin SV are different and you must use different wallets for Bitcoin and BitcoinSV.

Electrum wallet (download from electrum.org) is for Bitcoin, not for BitcoinSV.

How did you figure out that Electrum wallet (from electrum.org) is for BitcoinSV?

where you able to see you balance on the overall wallet transaction history and couldn't find it on us balance, if so be the case, then the fund may be in one of the addresses generated to you and you may be on the address that has no fund on it, also, it may be that the transaction only displayed to you and is unconfirmed, even though with the use of electrum wallet, you should be able to spend any unconfirmed transaction.

I just checked ElectrumSV github and found out OP also ask his problem there, https://github.com/electrumsv/electrumsv/issues/1227. He also state the problem has been solved with help of a github user, so we can stop replying this thread.
