Back story

Inspired by Satoshi Nakamoto's notion that "a lost bitcoin is a donation to everyone else," we sought to embody this idea tangibly.
We created a groundbreaking coin with a hole at its core, symbolising the potential collective benefit from lost coins.

Tag line for V2: "7000 BTC in IronKey’s maze and another 7,500 in Newport’s haze, two missing fortunes of the digital age"
  • "7000 BTC in IronKey’s maze": This refers to  a  lost hardware wallet containing 7,002 bitcoins because owner forgot the password.
  • "Another 7,500 in Newport’s haze": This alludes to someone threw away a hard drive containing 7,500 bitcoins in NewPort.

SHIPPING IS FREE

Every time a block is mined, a certain amount of BTC (called the subsidy) is created out of thin air and given to the miner. The subsidy halves every four years and will reach 0 in about 130 years.

I would like to get:

36 mm Zinc: #21

Questions:

1) Shipping is included, or is it extra?
2) What is the difference between the funded & the unfunded coins? Does both variations, have the serial number engraved? (including a private key & holo applied). In V1, the "unloadable" version didn't have an engraved serial number & a holo, hence I am asking for clarification.

Thank you!

moar questions...  Cheesy

1) In the unfunded/buyers-funded version, will the priv key/holo be pre-applied on the coin & a public address will be provided to the buyer to decide if they would like to fund the coin - or not- ?

2) Will there be any visual distinction to the coin between funded/unfunded variations? (except from the certificate)

Edit:

3) What is the production plan & the current estimation of when the coins will be ready? (I am aware that there might be delays down the road, I was just wondering what's the current estimates, to have a general idea)

0.1 or $6k+ load at todays rate is insane to trust a newbie maker with...

Generally as makers make items they realize that the load needs to decrease.... in this case the load has gone up.  HUGE red flag boys and girls!!  I wouldn't trust a single Sat on something this maker created!!

....and did we not learn from mr paypal penny on pre orders???  WTH is wrong with you people??? Seriously.....

1. Yes, private keys are behind the sticker. Please note that we don’t have backups for keys(like previous coins). Public addresses will be provided

2. There will be a small additional sticker on the back “buyer funded”

3. We aim to post by April end (if mint doesn’t make any mistake)

We have always delivered on customer orders. We have answered with any query they had.
We are customer first company.
Please don’t spread false rumors. Also, we are more than happy to sell unfunded coins(as those are easier to ship for customs reasons).

Please try us once.

Really??  These are not false rumors... they are facts!  That's a lot of bitcoin you're trying to be responsible for.... and the fact you stated that you used to keep the private keys on other coins makes you even less credible.  Sure you stopped that practice.

....and why a pre-order OP??

don't you have the funds to fund your own project??

-this would make you even less credible as to how can users recoup funds from someone who can't afford their own project let alone if they cock up the keys like the microsouls... how's the broke maker going to make people whole??  or if you just don't deliver.... paypal penny still owes a bunch of gold and silver on this site and he was way more credible than you and we all know how that worked out.  what if you get robbed or god forbid, hit by a bus??  #NOPREORDERS

if you do have the funds, why should customers fund your project??  You obviously don't believe in it enough to risk your own funds....

You should make coins, then sell them.  That's how it works!!

Pre sale is an opportunity to buy coins at lower price.

That’s all. Of course, we can make the coins ourselves. But we have given pre-sale opportunity each time.
We always place the order behind the scenes.

Let's see what they have to say about this, but I believe what is being said is that they don't have backups for keys just like their previous coins, meaning they didn't have backup keys either.  If they were saying they had backup keys on previous coins then statement would be- Please note that we don’t have backups for keys (unlike previous coins).

I would also think the holograms for these DIY varieties should be marked with DIY as opposed to Buyer Funded for additional differentiation.

Question for you RC:
It seems like there was quite a bit of difficulty minting V1 of these coins- are you expecting the same level of difficulty with V2 or has the process been ironed out?
The reason I'm asking is due to the nature of these being pre-orders, and I'm wondering what will happen with them if there are unforseen difficulties in the production process.

Main problem with first production was that mint kept breaking the coin and secondly, a plateau rather than a groove in the coin. But now they have already produced 300 coins.

So all good

is it possible to get #10 of all 3 coins? and is it possible to get them unfunded? If so, I will take a set that is one of each.

Same - can we buy them unfunded and fund ourselves?
