Is AI going to affect gambling in any way ?

AI will surely affect gambling in the area of Analysis and predictions which already people are using AI, but the truth is I do not believe there would be any greater chance of profitability using AI, Gambling site would create an alternative system to avert such and can also make rules or protocols to detect use of it, of which AI cannot really tell because we have different gambling sites/casinos so I believe the data will be irregular unless gambling was a unified system like Trading then her application would have been a bit relevant.

I think of the customers/gamblers can use an AI to cheat on casino it might affect the casino's though, but on a second thought, the casino's can also make things to be more harder than how it is already. I am trying to say that as the gamblers are using an artificial intelligence to cheat on while gambling on an online casino, a time will surely come when every casino that has been affected by an AI will make there security and odds more harder for gamblers because no casino want to lose, they always want to win just like how an addicted gamblers are always after to win.

Gamblers are going to have a lot of trouble using AI against casinos, and this is because AI is not some kind of magical tool that can do whatever you want, AI is just a piece of code which depends on the data given, the expertise of the person using the algorithm and the power of the computer using it, and in all of those aspects the casinos have the advantage over the players, so I doubt many people will succeed in using this tool effectively against them.

I've read a few replies here, but I can't justify reading the entire thread so I'm going to post my feelings, which may have been mentioned here, though I doubt it.  AI DOES NOT CURRENTLY EXIST.  What "AI" today is, is advanced programming.  It's a great advancement in computing technology no question, but it's NOT self learning/autonomous like legit AI will be.  However legit AI is now coined as "AGI".  AGI is legit AI that will change our world like we've never seen before (hopefully it will not be another extinction level event, but it's very plausible).  

What legit AI could very well look like (or one sizable aspect of it) ..if you haven't seen the movie "Her", watch it!  This is an excellent prediction of what I think, as well as many others, AI will look like when AGI has finally come to fruition.  Also just a fantastic movie.

So yes, it will change gambling and most things...it's going to be insane, I just hope I'm around to see it.

I'm not sure AI can actually analyze and make good predictions for people. Remember that even as a bettor that gambles using your own brain to make analysis, some of the bets that you lose is not because you didn't make a wise decision, it's because the outcome is bigger than what you can control. Haven't you use a big game to bet against a small club and yet the minor team you never expect beat the major team, it happen and you can't help it but accept it that way.

Do you also know that emotions is what AI can't predict, players can fight in a field over argument and one may over react or go extra length and then bag a red card, this is what AI can't do. You don't know if anyone can go injury, it can happen anytime any moment as I said, some situations aren't something you can control, they are part of he game and no matter you try to avoid them, they must surely happen.

Ai has impacted many online sectors so far but I think it's impact on the gambling sector might be different, people would get more reliant on Ai to give match predictions and may neglect doing research for themselves. Or it could help bring more peopel into gambling if Ai predictions become more perfect than human predictions and some folks might want to take advantage of that to make money.

Artificial intelligence is not going to have much effect on gambling compared to people's jobs that would be lost and not be available anymore. I just hope the government would step help and help people that would lost their jobs due to the dominance of AI that we shall soon be seeing. Gambling is always fun and we shall be seeing AI games soon on different casinos since we are already in the era so it's not going to take much time. I think when that time finally comes, people would be creating their own bot that will be used to play different games on casinos talking the presence of human beings on our absent.
